The building shook violently.

Inside the building, Nyria walked quietly without flinching at the falling pieces of the ceiling.

Her golden eyes filled with spirals stared down the hallway without any change of expression.

She had been separated from her mother for a long while, but she didn't seem to care.

Instead, she shifted her focus to the golden marking on her palm.

"I need to talk."

Nyria said, staring at the marking.

"Right now."

There wasn't any type of reaction.

The marking remained the sa, but it let out a faint golden pulse.

Nyria waited, dusting off the dirt that kept falling on her body.

Ti passed, and just when she felt nothing would happen—

"Hmm?"

Her heart started to beat at an alarming rate.

Nyria brought her hand to place it over her chest.

She blinked.

Her vision blurred.

Nyria looked around, finding herself in pitch-black darkness.

Wherever her eyes went, all she saw was nothing but void.

"Are you going to fulfill your promise, child?"

A voice echoed in the void.

Just as Nyria turned,

She found an enormous woman standing behind her.

Tall like she had never seen before, wearing a veil that covered her face.

The size of the lady made Nyria's heart shudder.

Drawing in a deep breath,

She looked at Goddess Anastasia.

Even without seeing her face, Nyria could feel the divine presence radiating from her like the sun itself.

Warm, but unbearably heavy.

Like it could crush you if it wished.

"I promised nothing," she replied, trying to keep her composure. "You asked if I wished to live and I said yes."

"Then."

Goddess Anastasia extended her hand toward Nyria.

"Lend your body."

"..."

Nyria stared at her enormous hand that made her look like a dwarf.

"....Why?"

She finally asked, looking at the woman.

"Why do you want my body?"

Goddess Anastasia remained silent for a while.

"To help soone,"

she replied simply.

"To help you."

Nyria questioned back, "How are you going to help ?"

"...By giving your divinity to soone else,"

She replied while Nyria caught the glimpse of her beautiful green hair.

"Lending it to another would—"

"Liar," Nyria snapped, her voice cold. "Only an Avatar could have your divinity and Christina is dea—"

"That child isn't dead," Anastasia interrupted her words. "She is alive."

Nyria took a mont to process her words.

"What?" Nyria frowned. "How could she?"

"She just lost her mortal body," Anastasia replied. "Her soul is still in Lumina."

Nyria stared up at the veiled goddess in stunned silence.

A part of her wanted to feel relief—Christina was alive.

In a way.

But another part burned with distrust.

"...Where is she?" Nyria asked after a few minutes of silence. "Is she attached to so object?"

"She is with Himl," Anastasia replied, her voice softened ever so slightly. "He is taking care of her."

"...."

Everything started to make sense to Nyria.

Who Himl was, how he arrived at Lumina... everything.

Just when Nyria was planning to thank him—

"Ragnar was the one who killed her."

Anastasia's voice echoed in the void.

"And Himl will go against him."

"...What?"

Instead of replying further, Anastasia flicked her hand.

The void around Nyria changed.

A different scenery ford all around her, showing a dystopian city where fla engulfed everything.

On one side, she could see her father—Ragnar—standing on the ground.

But what took her by surprise was who stood against him.

A young man with long black hair and blue eyes.

He stood over thousands of corpses that spread all around the place.

Nyria recognized him even though he looked completely different.

"....Himl?"

But what took her aback was soone who stood beside him.

With trembling hands, she pointed at the girl. "....That's ?"

"It won't be the first ti he would go against Ragnar."

Anastasia's voice echoed once again as the world dissolved.

"And it won't be the first ti you will stand along with him."

"..."

Nyria was completely in shock to even reply to her words.

She just stared blankly into the void.

"What if you took over my body?"

She finally asked, looking back at the goddess.

"A barrier made by my lover holds gods from entering Lumina."

Anastasia explained quietly.

"As long as that barrier stands, I can't be in Lumina for more than a few minutes."

Nyria drew in a deep breath.

She gently nodded. "Fine."

A blink later,

She found herself inside her body.

But.....

It wasn't her that moved her body.

She could feel and see everything but wasn't in control of anything.

Nyria... now Anastasia took in a deep breath.

Her hair changing from vibrant red to deep green.

The ceiling fell but couldn't even touch her.

Slowly she turned, walking toward Himl.

***

They both smiled.

"It's been a while."

Their voices were in sync.

"Father."

The king of Orth Kingdom stared at his two sons.

It's been years since he saw them, yet there wasn't any warmth in his eyes but anger.

His long blue hair was tied in a ponytail while his horn protruded from his head.

"Who asked you to be here?" Eirien barked, glaring at both of them. "You cursed abominations!"

Arthenis glanced at the man. "Are you going to antagonize them even now—?"

"They are nothing but a curse to our family!" Eirien yelled, looking at the n. "They don't deserve anything!"

Even as their father hurled venom in their direction, they both remained calm.

"What the fuck, old man?" Khokan spat, looking at him with disgust. "Despite all you did to us, you're still calling us abominations?"

Vikoka, standing beside him, shook his head. "What did you even expect from him?"

Khokan took in a deep breath.

"Whatever."

He said, his voice echoing within the place.

"We aren't here to talk anyway."

Picking up a heavy stone on the side, he hurtled it at a running noble.

Crack!!!

With a crunching sound, the man was imdiately crushed to death.

"Brother."

Khokan took a step forward while the others readied themselves.

"I will take care of them."

Vikoka nodded his head in response.

He turned.

"Then I will massacre the city!"

With one hard push, he was hurtled into the sky towards the city.

"Stop him!" Arthenis yelled in panic, worried about his innocent subjects. "... Don't let him!!!"

His voice abruptly halted as Khokan rushed towards them in an instant.

Arthenis barely had ti to draw his blade before Khokan was upon them.

A violent gust of wind followed his charge.

Kicking up dust and broken tiles as he closed the distance in the blink of an eye.

"Pathetic," Khokan growled, driving his knee into Arthenis' stomach and sending him crashing into a pillar.

Ledger's canines elongated along with his claws, his eyes turning pure crimson as he lunged forward.

Ledger struck first—his claws slashing diagonally, aiming to rip across Khokan's chest.

But Khokan tilted his body effortlessly, narrowly avoiding the attack.

Ledger spun midair, aiming a reverse kick at Khokan's head, but—

CRACK!

Khokan caught his leg and slamd him into the ground like a ragdoll.

As if it wasn't enough.

"ARGHH!!!"

Khokan broke his leg with brute force.

Casper's body slamd into Khokan, sending him flying in the air.

But he quickly flipped and balanced himself, like it was nothing.

Eirien's sword flashed, aid at his throat.

But....

Tilting his head, Khokan grabbed his sword with his bare hand.

"You should have died!"

Eirien barked, glaring at his eldest son.

"You should have been burned the day you were born."

Khokan just smiled.

"I still rember the punishnt you gave us, father."

He said, ducking under Arthenis's sword before kicking him, making the king slam into the wall once again.

"Punishnt we never deserved."

"Rghh!!"

Eirien used his sword like a saw, making it dig deeper into his palm.

"We followed your rules, but it wasn't enough for you."

He growled, gripping Eirien's sword tighter. Blood stread down his palm, but his grip never loosened.

"We didn't follow them and were beaten like animals."

He yanked the sword from Eirien's grip and tossed it aside.

"You tried to burn us alive!!!"

Eirien tried to summon his mana, but Khokan was faster. His hand shot forward, grabbing his father's face.

With a surge of force, he slamd him into the floor, breaking everything.

"You tried to drown us. Amputated every part of our body, not even leaving the genitals!!!"

A punch broke Eirien's nose into pieces.

He dragged his body by his collar, letting it dangle close to his face.

"Was it satisfying to look at us in pain?" He mumbled, looking into his eyes. "Was it thrilling?"

Ledger tried to attack him once again.

Khokan turned around and lowered his head.

A threatening amount of mana gathered between his horns.

"Shit!!"

Before Ledger could change his direction—.

BOOM!!!!

The blast hit him like a teorite, sending him flying in the air.

"Enough…" Eirien gasped. "This… this isn't the way…"

"You think rcy will stop Vikoka?" Khokan snapped, not even turning around. "You think forgiveness will save this kingdom?"

Arthenis lunged at him once again.

Khokan twisted his father's leg before he shifted towards Arthenis.

The man grabbed him around the waist before pushing him up.

They both hurtled in the air.

From the side of his eyes, Khokan caught a fallen angel grabbing Ledger, but he didn't care.

Instead, he wrapped his hand around Arthenis's ribs.

And—.

Crack!!!

"ARGHHH!!!"

Shattered his ribs.

They both fell on the ground as Khokan threw him aside.

He slowly walked towards his father.

"Nobody will walk out alive from here."

His voice echoed.

Khokan stopped in his tracks before he took in a deep breath.

Then—.

"MY NA IS KHOKAN ORTH!!!"

He shouted, his voice echoing in the entire city.

"AND I SWEAR IN THE NA OF MY GODDESS, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WILL DIE!!!"

His voice turned softer.

"I will kill everyone."

Just when he moved again.

Khokan noticed soone.

A woman in a wheelchair, staring at him.

"...Sister."
