I ca back to the capital city after my obnoxious talk with Nerissa.
And it wasn't long before I was aware of the attack that happened.
All three of them were safe thanks to Nyria's interference.
The wind blew past my face as I landed on the ground.
The royal guards tensed up in front of the gate as I walked past them.
They didn't dare to stop nor was I in the mood to entertain them.
As I strolled towards the main throne room, a maid blocked my path.
She hastily bowed in front of .
"Lady Pasithea said you will co," she said. "She asked to guide you."
It was mild, no—if I wasn't observant, I might have missed it.
Her body language said a lot about how she was seeing .
I let out a sigh as I rubbed my temples in annoyance.
"Why are you trembling?" I couldn't help but ask. "Am I scary to you?"
"Y-you don't look like you're in a good mood," she replied, looking back at my face. "I am sorry if I offended you."

She turned sharply and hastily began to move as I followed.

Things didn't go with Nerissa as I had hoped for.
Then again, nothing goes the way I want them to.
