"…Inna."

[]

"Yes."

[]

"Don't worry." I spoke as I stretched my body. "I will take care of Anubis."

Inna turned silent as I slowly stopped in my track.

Frowning, I asked. "What happened."

A weird feeling made look up as a light slowly materialized from my body.

It took the shape of a woman with a beautiful body.

Her long golden blonde hair fell gracefully behind her while her crimson eyes blinked gently.

She still wore her black gown from the last ti I saw her, the gown that clung to her body perfectly.

"….Are you really sure?" Inna asked, looking deep into my eyes.

I smiled at her, but I am sure she could see through .

"It's been so long since I saw her." I spoke gently. "…. Please don't make wait any longer."

Inna opened her mouth to protest, but when I stood in front of her firmly…. she backed down.

She slowly walked towards and placed her hands on my cheeks.

"No matter what happens, protect yourself first." She spoke, her voice soft. "I will keep Christina safe, so don't worry."

"I'm not dying." I spoke with a smile. "Not in my own kingdom."

She let a smile form on her lips, then she gently placed a kiss on my forehead.

Despite the closeness between us, the sudden kiss really took by surprise.

"You have gotten taller." She spoke, taking a step back. "I have to tiptoe now."

"Thanks, I guess." I replied, keeping my smile.

Inna kept on looking at with a concerned look in her eyes.

She drew in a deep breath to calm herself.

"Anubis." She spoke calmly. "He is the guardian of the underworld and collector of souls."

I stared at her as Inna kept a serious face.

"He is also extrely skilled with his axe-chain." She continued. "Whatever happens, do not get caught in them; otherwise, he will snatch your soul."

I nodded my head as I asked. "Anything else?"

"He will do everything in his power to bring Christina's soul back to the underworld." She responded gently.

"…Even though he will only be in demigod rank due to restrictions, don't go on offense and wait till I am free."

I nodded once again as I said. "Now, shall we start?"

Her expression imdiately turned serious as she nodded her head.

The rune on my hand glowed, I took out the ring and the snow dallet and all the other things that she would need.

Inna waved her hand as all those items floated closer to her.

"I will take care of everything else." She spoke softly. "…All you need to do is form the body for her."

I nodded my head as I have been thinking about it for a long ti.

Because I have Muspelh and Neplh, forming the body would be my job.

Inna drew in a deep breath and began to float in the air.

She waved her hand and in an instant the sky split in half.

The endless space with endless stars beca clear for everyone to see.

'....'

As I looked at Inna, I found so changes in my surroundings.

Closing my eyes, I let the information from the world flow into my mind.

And it didn't take long for to find the reason.

'There are people coming here.'

"Tch."

I clicked my tongue as I raised both my hands in the air.

The whole world is my kingdom, and now I have gotten better control over it.

I created a circle at the hundred-kiloter mark and expanded the space inside it.

'This should keep them busy until we are done.'

I thought as I focused back on Inna.

Inna floated higher into the sky, her golden hair glowing faintly under the light of the divided heavens.

The stars above bent and swirled around her, as if answering her command.

Golden lines spread across the sky — ancient runes forming a massive circle that dwarfed mountains.

The circle humd, and I could feel the resonance crawl into my bones.

Inna brought her hands together as the circle began to shrink.

The items that were placed around her began to move and circle around the golden light.

Everything close to it began to lt and seamlessly mix with the light.

It took almost five minutes for the light to dim a little as Inna turned to look at .

"The body…" Inna said, her voice layered with echoes, "must be perfect. Christina's soul cannot return to sothing incomplete."

I nodded my head, stepping forward.

The ground beneath began to lt and reform.

Molten fire of Muspelh surged from one hand, followed by shimring frost Neplh from another.

They intertwined like ribbons of red and blue, forming the rough outline of a human body.

The balance between creation and destruction — both forces born within — flickered violently.

It took everything I had to keep them from tearing each other apart.

Sweat dripped down my temple, and my heartbeat echoed in my ears.

Every pulse of mana felt like it was grinding through my veins.

Still, I pressed on.

Taking in a deep breath, I began to think about the most ideal body I could imagine.

The molten-frost shell started to take form, starting from the feet.

Bit by bit, a new body began to return to existence.

Inna descended slowly, her presence alone stabilizing the world around us.

"You're doing well," she said softly.

I couldn't answer as I imrsed myself in carving a perfect body.

My fingers trembled slightly as the last traces of molten mana molded the shape of her legs, then her torso, and finally, her face.

Each movent of my hand felt heavier than the last.

Every line, every curve, every detail had to be perfect.

Because this wasn't just flesh… this was her.

My breath grew shallow as the body neared completion.

Skin began to form, porcelain pale, faintly shimring like moonlight.

Her golden hair flowed freely, shifting between solid and liquid, as if unsure whether it belonged to the living or the dead.

Inna turned her hands upward.

The golden circle in the sky pulsed, and from it, a single drop of pure light descended.

It rged seamlessly with her new body.

I took a step back, nearly stumbling as the mana drain caught up to .

The ground beneath was a mosaic of frost and ember, the remnants of power fading into silence.

Inna floated beside the forming vessel, her expression joyful.

Her crimson eyes softened as she gazed down at the body.

"…It's perfect," she whispered.

I didn't respond as I couldn't trust my voice to stay steady.

Inna then turned serious as I looked at the sky of stars.

She raised her hand and pinched a star as if plucking it out.

….And that was indeed what she did.

'…. That's a soul.'

I thought as I stared at the glowing light floating inside her hand.

'Did she take her out from her world?'

The light touched the chest of the body — and the entire world shook.

The mont Christina's soul entered her vessel, a wave of raw energy exploded outward.

The frozen and molten ground around shattered into shards, floating in the air like glass.

And the mont it happened…. the temperature of the world dropped down.

I felt it before I saw it.

Taking a step back, I created a do around both of them as I looked up at the sky.

The stillness and the silence that followed.

As I began to float up, the sky turned black.

Chains, thick and ancient, fell from above like cots.

Each one burned with symbols that no mortal tongue could speak.

And through that darkness stepped him.

Anubis.

He was tall, almost three ters tall with a cloak covering his entire body.

His golden eyes glowed, the only part visible about his face.

The area around him decayed as his gaze fell on .

"Step aside, mortal." His voice rumbled, calm yet suffocating. "I don't want to—."

"I am sorry but I can't do that." I spoke as I slowly ford mana blades in my hand. "..You are not welco here, Fox."

Anubis tilted his head slightly, his tone slightly different. "….I will ask again, move aside or else—."

"I will say again." I cut him off once again. "Go back to hell, dog."

I felt Inna still focusing on fusing the soul with the body, and no matter what I can't let him disturb her.

Anubis raised his hand, and the chain-axe materialized, massive and dripping with the essence of death itself.

"Her soul does not belong to the living."

I strengthened my body as I spoke. "And who decided that?"

Anubis's golden eyes flared at my words.

The chains around his arm rattled like restless serpents.

"May Ereshkigal condemn your soul."

That was the last word I heard before I felt his axe whipping towards my face.
