[Unknown Location.]

The air moved around hitting my face as I moved through the blue sky.

A barrier of mana under my feet worked as a platform, holding the two others with .

Elijah stood on my side glancing down on the forest below us.

While Aimar was staring at like a gay lord he is.

He has been like this since Samyaza told him about God Set.

"What?" I couldn't help but ask as I gave him an annoyed look.

"….Are we really going to Aljanah Island?" Aimar asked, looking into my eyes. "Do you really believe him?"

"I don't." I replied honestly as I glanced at the front. "But I do believe in El."

Aimar groaned under his breath and threw his head back dramatically.

"Of course you believe in El," he muttered. "Who the fuck is he anyway?"

"….A god." I replied, to which he looked back. "And there is sothing that I want as well."

"…What?" Aimar asked curiously. "Do you want Azrael's mories?"

"...."

I didn't respond as I looked over to the sea that was now visible.

There is so much that I don't know and so much that I want to know.

The whole thing that kept up in nights was just in front of .

The truth about my life and Azrael was sothing that I really desire.

I want to see what made Azrael different from .

'…..but I don't know how safe this is.'

I really wish I had Inna with right now, so I can ask about her opinion.

Leaving that aside, I don't understand why would I need the key?

What makes it so special that it can help fight both Morningstar and Satan?

'…I can't say I am not interested in it.'

I have strength yes but I am not yet the strongest.

If any one of the gods or demigods who are really strong attacked , I can't be sure if I will live.

I am still a mortal and I can still be killed.

Rubbing the back of my neck, I glanced back at Aimar who was still staring at .

"What?" I asked again.

"…Was I reincarnated before?" He said, more to himself. "Were we friends even in our old life?"

"…I don't know." I replied, shrugging. "Maybe Oliver but definitely not you."

He flipped a middle finger but I chose to ignore him.

Instead, I focused on Elijah who was lost in his own world.

"Hey." I said, placing my hand over his shoulder. "You alright?"

He turned to look at and smiled softly. "…Yeah, I am fine."

"You don't look fine." Aimar said, giving him a look. "Did you get motion sickness?"

"No." He chuckled but soon got serious. "…I just…I just want answers."

I turned fully to look at him. "Answers?"

"Well…for my own and for you." He said, leaning back with a smile. "Like will you really be Himl after getting those mories?"

I turned back to look at the island that was in our view now.

"…I don't know."

That was all I could answer before I let the platform lower on the island.

The barrier dissolved and my feet touched the sand of the beach.

In an instant, an alarm bood within the entire place, its voice echoing within the island.

"Intruder!"

"Intruder!"

I heard the sound that made rub my ears.

'Ah, fuck.'

A long wall of translucent barrier ford all around us that was as tall as six-story buildings.

It didn't take long before I could hear the footsteps of soldiers rushing towards us.

I turned to look back at both of them. "Stay by my side."

The forest split open as dozens of soldiers flooded in.

Aimar whispered, "Why do they look like they're about to colonize us…"

Elijah elbowed him. "Shut up."

Within seconds, we were surrounded with eyes full of hostility.

"Identify yourselves!"

The front captain barked, his voice coated with authority.

Aimar raised both hands. "We're tourists—"

"Aimar," I said calmly, "shut up before they kill you."

He shut up.

The captain's gaze locked onto and I sighed.

"Bring Jacob." I said calmly, looking at him. "Or I will go find him myself."

The captain's expression twitched.

He must've thought he misheard .

"…What did you just—"

BOOM.

I didn't even move.

A pulse of mana burst out from under my feet.

Sand exploded outward in a ring, knocking half the soldiers off their stance.

Aimar staggered back, coughing. "HEY—warn before you nuke the beach!"

The soldiers recovered, forming a spear wall in perfect formation.

"Halt! You are surrounded by the Aljanah Guard—"

I raised one hand and flicked at him.

An energy blast ford at the tip, knocking the captain off his feet.

His unconscious body fell a few tres away.

My focus stayed on the soldiers tightening their grip on their spears.

"Don't," I warned.

They hesitated but only for a second.

The mont one of them stepped forward, I let out a slow breath and snapped my fingers.

CRACK.

The ground beneath the first row of soldiers exploded upward like a geyser, launching them straight into the air.

Before they could even scream, another pulse of mana twisted the air, slamming them down like falling dolls.

Aimar flinched. "Goddamn, at this point you're just bullying them."

The second row rushed forward in panic.

A wave of pressure rolled outward from my foot, flattening the sand in a perfect circle.

Every soldier caught in it dropped instantly, pinned face-first to the ground.

I let out a sigh as I began to walk towards the barrier.

It only took a second to snap open a path to go inside.

Aimar and Elijah both followed right after as we entered the main city.

The inside wasn't expecting intruders to walk in as they stood frozen in place.

"Don't worry." I said as I kept on walking. "I am also an Aljanah—."

I hadn't even finished my words when a spear bood towards my face.

I raised my feet and deflected the blow of the spear at the last instant.

The spear embedded itself into the ground as I looked up at the sky.

A man wearing full body armour floated in the air with two wings protruded from his back.

"Himl…."

"…Yeah." I mumbled to Elijah. "He is strong."

The fallen flashed toward , his body becoming a flash of black light.

Two daggers appeared in his hand that swung outward in a broad arc at my throat.

I swiveled on my heel, parrying his blows with a strike to his hands.

'Neplh.'

Elijah and Aimar had moved back, and I ford a blade of ice enforced by mana.

Using the brief movent, he grabbed the spear as I lanced at his side with my blade.

He swung his spear, twisting his whole body to gain montum to intercept my blade.

A screeching sound echoed, he jumped back and tried to kick my face.

I pulled myself back as I looked at the man who slowly began circling around.

There was nothing to see in him, he was nothing but a bundle of armour with no specific features that stood out.

He rushed in with his spear that whistled past my face.

I changed the shape of the blade into a staff as I deflected his blow.

I aid for his ribs but he split his legs, landing on his butt.

'Huh?'

How the fuck can a man—.

He swept at my legs with the butt of the staff.

I jumped back as I landed on my feet and he stood up.

"You are holding back." He spoke, his voice unusually thin. "Stop it."

Saying so, he rushed at once again.

I got a little serious as I let the information from the world feed my mind.

Now I could see what path he was going to take and I worked accordingly.

I lowered myself and waited while covering the area around him with my mana.

When he reached closer, I conjured a blade to deflect his spear before I made another in my other hand.

But by the ti the blade could slice his arm, he turned determined.

Much to my surprise, he rushed in and tried to push down with her body.

Too bad I wasn't so normal guy.

"Rejection of Ti."

I whispered as I slowed the ti the mont his body touched mine.

Moving around him, I grabbed his around the waist and pinned him down.

A blade of mana ford in my hand that I placed on his neck.

The world moved back to its original speed.

The soldier choked on his own breath, the sudden shift back into real ti slamming into him ike a wall.

The armored fallen didn't resist. he froze completely, wings twitching in frustration.

"…You used a ti ability," he whispered, as if confirming it to herself.

Wow, did he just guess it or was he too confident to lose.

"Had to," I replied calmly. "You were being annoying."

He clenched his jaw behind the helt.

"Remove your hands." A voice echoed within the place, making look up. "Himl."

I squinted my eyes at the man who floated in the air.

This was my first ti seeing him apart from the gas.

"Jacob." I said softly.

"Let go." He spoke gruffly.

I raised my brow. "So she can attack again?"

"She will not attack you." He said, his voice firm. "And I will treat you as a guest if you leave her, I promise."

Wait, her?

I looked down at the armored fallen pinned beneath .

"…You're a girl?"

A faint groan ca from behind the helt.

I exhaled sharply and got off her, stepping back with my blade dissolving into small motes of mana.

The fallen soldier pushed herself up, dusting sand off her armor with clear irritation.

She removed her helt and long silver hair spilled out.

'.....'

Wait, what?

She was beautiful no doubt but what's wrong with her ears?

"I told you," she muttered, glaring at , "not to hold back."

"…Your ears," I said bluntly. "What's wrong with them?"

Her expression darkened imdiately.

She grabbed her helt like she was about to beat with it.

Jacob landed a few steps behind her.

"She is my granddaughter." He spoke. "And half fallen and half rmaid."

"…."

"….."

"...…."

I turned slowly toward him.

"…Your what?"

"She is Levia Noah Aljanah," he said simply. "My firstborn's oldest child and next in line for the Aljanah throne."

I just stood there without speaking.

"Did you get spooked out?"

My entire body felt goosebumps as I felt a voice close to my ears.

I skidded back as my gaze fell on a woman who stood close to .

She was tall and wore a revealing dress that showed most of her cleavage.

Her hands were loosely held while her long black hair fell freely.

But what made serious were her eyes.

They were black as oil but with a pulse of sothing colder under the surface.

They made the hairs on my arms stand up.

She smiled slow, like soone enjoying the look on my face.

"Welco to Aljanah Island," she said, voice smooth as lacquer. "You picked an interesting ti to visit."

Jacob smiled as he placed his hand around her waist.

"And this." He said with a smile. "Is my wife…. Nora."

No, no, no.

She isn't your wife you fuck face.

From what I can feel….she is a being out of this world.

'….What the fuck is happening.'
