Now reading: Chapter 844: Year 1054?? from Reincarnated Hero System, a Fantasy novel by michael.

There was a heavy silence in the air for a good ten seconds before Arthur finally broke it with a question.

"You have the power of a Universal Law and you don't know what it is?"

"I have one?!"

Evan was surprised. As far as he knew, the only Law power he had was Destruction Essence, and that was a 'World' Law, not a 'Universal' one.

But from the way Arthur looked at him, it seed he really had this Universal Law thing.

"Dude…I can sense your energy circuits are created with law energy. You have Destruction Law energy…"

Evan's energy circuits were indeed created with Destruction Power, and when Arthur ntioned this, realisation flashed in Evan's eyes.

"You an the 'World Law' of Destruction?"

This ti, Arthur was the one who looked confused as he had zero idea what 'World Laws' were. Artemisia and Beatrix, however, were not so clueless.

"Oh…that's a term used on so worlds by Lower Existences to refer to Universal Laws.

Since it was too much of a hassle to explain the true scale of Universal Laws to people in those worlds, that term is used.

They'd figure it out when they beco Transcendents anyway."

Artemisia offered an explanation and Beatrix concurred, even citing examples of places where said terms were used.

"In this galaxy, it's mostly worlds under Aidos' control that use such a term."

Evan had seen excerpts from the RHS archive that let him know that Aidos was once an Interstellar Hegemony on par with Gozon where the demons invading it in the future ca from.

From Artemisia's words about "Worlds under Aidos' control", it seed the ti Evan was in was one where they were still on that level

Evan silently nodded, processing these new bits of information he had gleaned. 'World Laws' and 'Universal Laws' were just different terms used to refer to the sa thing.

'Universal' seed to be the correct term as these laws were prevalent everywhere in the Universe and not just on planets.

"You can learn about all of that later, Evan. For now, let's get back to the important things.

Sorry about blowing your cover, but on the flip side, you still got your mask so we don't know half of what you look like.

You also aren't the only 'Grey Eyed Evan' that exists too…"

Arthur's words brought Evan out of his thoughts and he was just about to answer when he rembered Sigesi's earlier words. He turned towards the woman who had gone back to sorting her docunts and asked.

"You're not gonna tell they can all sohow see through my mask, right?"

"Don't give them ideas."

Sigesi deadpanned him and before Evan could even think of a reply, Artemisia dropped her pen and jumped over her seat, landing in front of Beatrix and covering the white-haired girl's eyes.

"But why?!"

"I felt you were gonna pry."

Artemisa had known Beatrix long enough to predict her thoughts, so she acted before Beatrix could try using magic to see through Evan's mask.

While Artemisia and Beatrix were having their little banter, Arthur used sound law energy to mute them before returning to questioning Evan.

"So, why did you co here from the future?"

"I don't think I said I ca from the future."

Evan didn't recall having stated this, but Arthur just silently raised his hands and removed the black contacts he was wearing, allowing the other Evan to what his eyes really looked like.

Arthur's left eye was a clear azure blue, the sa hue as the chains of ti that dragged him into the spatiotemporal portal.

His right eye, on the other hand, was a deep crimson. Even deeper than the crimson of his Destruction Essence.

Just then, Arthur's left eye glowed with a dull light and he spoke.

"I have a Pseudo-Authority in the law of ti. I can literally see that you're from the future.

At least 1000 years into the future.

I should be able to tell what ti period you ca from up to 1000 years, but I can't. This ans you're from outside that range."

Arthur's explanation made Evan question how broken Pseudo-Authorities were. He thought about Kayla's own Pseudo-Authority and realised that due to the Spirit hiding her true capabilities from Evan, she'd never used the full power of that thing before him.

Still, now was not the ti to think about Kayla. His main priority was his current situation.

"I don't know."

"What?"

"I didn't co here on purpose. I was forcefully tossed here."

Evan gave a reply that neither Arthur nor the others in the room had expected. From their surprised expressions, it seed they thought he had co to the past to try and change sothing.

However, they expected that he would have been forcefully sent back.

"As much as I don't want to say anything, being silent would be unwise in my current situation so I'd talk.

I was fighting a bunch of Fallen Celestial Deities. Trying to get them to stop murdering millions in a bid to regain their power.

Too bad, that didn't turn out as I expected.

One of them regained his power, and as it turned out, he had a god on his side. A god who used him like a puppet to cast Tier 8 Spatiotemporal Magic on ."

Evan gave a summary of the events that led to his presence here, and hearing the level of magic cast on him, Arthur rubbed his chin and spoke with a pensive tone.

"Tier 8, huh? We're looking at a High Tier Deity here… Probably a god King or Queen by this Universe's standards."

'High-Tier Deity? There are Tiers to Deities?'

Evan was curious about this 'High Tier Deity' thing, but he held it back and continued explaining.

"They used the magic, trying to send sowhere.

However, my companions, with the aid of a "Forr Demon King's" Grimoire, were able to attack him and disrupt the casting of the spell."

The ntion of a 'Forr Demon King' got the attention of the Demons present and even Alvey put down his work and visibly showed interest in Evan's story—completely unaware that he was the 'Forr Demon King' in question.

"Unfortunately, it seems incapacitating the 'Caster', was a bad idea as that made the spell activate automatically.

It then proceeded to send to what was supposed to be a Random point in spaceti, based on the energies in the area which it absorbed.

The last bit of information I got, was that these energies were being used by the spell to send to the 'Furthest point in Ti and Space where they were closest to each other', but since I was too busy being frozen in spaceti, I don't know exactly how much energy it absorbed and whose energy it absorbed."

Once again, Evan technically wasn't lying as he didn't know how much energy or whose energy the spell had absorbed…until Artemisia told him. But even then, he couldn't be sure Artemisia told him everything because her words had gotten cut off towards the end.

"I was told about the workings of his spell by an 'Ally' of mine, but even they didn't know where I was gonna end up."

After saying this, Evan glanced around trying to find a clock or calendar, but he found neither of the two and had to ask the date.

"What ti period is this? What's the year?"

"531st Divine Year."

Evan had zero idea what sort of calendar system Arthur had just spoken about. How did that convert to Aidos' calendar?

"Divine Year? What's that? First off, what planet is this?"

That was a crucial question that Evan wanted an answer for and Arthur replied with one word.

"Aramis."

It was a planet Evan had never heard of. But so of his companions from the future were very well aware of it.

That was the na of the Pri World where the 'Masked Rogue Hero' that Death Celestial Mortis had mistaken Evan for in Zlunard ca from.

"Never heard of it. Though I can't say I know about many planets either. The most I know is this galaxy is Orithyia and like 3 other planets."

Evan only knew about Earth V, Aidos, and Gozon. There was the Regal Void Expanse, but that was an entire 'Realm of planets' and not just one planet.

"How many hours are in a day here? What about days in a year?"

"24/365."

"So, it's the Standard…"

That was the sa ti system on Earth V and Aidos that Evan was very familiar with.

There were a lot of planets that followed this sa Ti System. It's just that they orbited their stars at varying speeds to synchronize despite their differences in size and gravity.

It was because of this, that the 'General Calendar System' could be established.

Speaking of General Calendars—

"Do you know about the 'General Calendar System'?"

—Artemisia posed this question to Evan and his grey eyes lit up as he nodded in affirmation.

"Oh, that's good.

We can figure out how far off he is from this. It's currently Year…what year is it here?"

Arthur asked for the year, a question that left Evan puzzled as to how Arthur could be unaware of the current year on Aramis when he was on it.

"In my ho Universe, it was Year 717 when I left."

He muttered this under his breath, but Evan's ears caught the words he spoke; words that made the Hero's grey eyes nearly widen out of their sockets.

"…you're not from this Universe?"

"Hmm? Yeah. I'm from a Universe that's pretty far away, the Hell Universe."

"There really are other Universes!?"

Evan was shocked. He'd heard so much about a parallel Universe theory back on Earth V, but Evan was soone with special circumstances that made him previously not even believe the existence of the Valmone Universe he was in, so there was no way he'd bother about other ones.

Rather than the particular Universe that Arthur had co from, Evan was more concerned about the existence of other Universes in general.

"Yes, there are. But I doubt your story's gonna scale that far so let's co back to the topic at hand. The Year."

Arthur's words made Evan turn to him in surprise, not because of the Universe matter but because of sothing else.

'Did this guy just break the Fourth…?'

He didn't get to vocalize that question as Alvey, who was finally done with his workload for the day, set aside his files and spoke up.

"It's currently Year 1054."

Hearing this, Evan's eyes lit up and he replied casually.

"Oh, what a coincidence. It was Year 1054 for too."

""""""… …""""""

The mont those words left Evan's mouth; the entire room went silent. Even Sigesi who had half-tuned out the conversation that they were having looked up at him with surprise in her eyes.

'It was December 10th, Year 1054 for …'

Their expressions made Evan realise that sothing was off.

Evan took a mont to ponder the situation and quickly realised why they reacted like that. He was from the 'Future' and they were from the 'Past'. How could it also be 'Year 1054'?

That was impossible, unless…

"Evan…what General Calendar were you in?"

When Arthur asked this, Evan glanced at the System Archive and looked at the date which still hadn't changed.

[December 10th, Year 1054. 51st General Calendar.]

"…the 51st."

Evan replied nervously, studying their expressions and reactions to his words. Silence pervaded the area once more until Alvey broke it with his words.

"Each General Calendar lasts 10,000 years and we are currently in the 50th General Calendar…

"?!"

That one line was enough for Evan to quickly understand Alvey's unspoken words.

He'd been sent 10,000 years into the past!
