After Evan's words about his body's capacity, Jamie nodded in agreent.

"You're quick on the uptake. That's probably the case. I'm not sure why you're not experiencing the full power of the 7 Skills, but I'm certain the Ultimate Seed formation being halted at 99.99% is because you're not yet capable of handling it.

Maybe when you reach Transcendence and beyond, you'll be strong enough to handle it."

After finishing his explanation, Jamie opened one of the wines Arthur had brought from his Penthouse, poured himself a glass, and took a sip before continuing.

"So, you don't need to search for an Ultimate Seed. You already have one, built-in."

"Built-in?"

Evan raised a brow in confusion at Jamie's words, and the man nodded as he asked.

"Yeah. Weren't you born with it?"

"…"

Again, Evan went silent.

Jamie's words suggested that he believed Evan was born with the skill. However, as far as Evan knew, he had only acquired the skill a few years ago due to an external force.

"I wasn't born with it, though? I got it after a trip to a different Realm."

Hearing Evan's explanation, Jamie shook his head.

"Nahh, you had to have been born with it.

Because, from what I can see, the Skill Rune on your soul… It's as old as your soul itself."

sarthim was as old as his Soul.

The revelation floored Evan, but then again, he wasn't entirely surprised.

'If Jamie's words are the truth and I was really born with sarthim…'

Ti Difference activated, accelerating Evan's thoughts as he concluded.

'Then it must be a power from my Previous Incarnation.'

His Previous Incarnation.

Evan often ignored anything that caused him a headache to think about and acted like he didn't take anything seriously, but he wasn't stupid.

He didn't need to be a genius to piece together his situation with all the clues dropped in his four years on Aidos.

For one, his soul belonged to a race he knew nothing about.

Evan instinctively knew his body on Earth V was human, just as he instinctively knew his parents, Vincent and Kristine, were human.

So, his soul belonged to a different race, but in a human body.

That was the first dead giveaway.

The second was his inexplicable dislike of 'gods.'

He never showed it so one wouldn't realise, but Evan did NOT like gods. He didn't know why, he just did.

Their re presence irritated him to no end.

In the past, his annoyance had escalated into full-blown anger when companions of his suggested he might be a servant or puppet of gods. (Chapters 33-34 and 187)

Yet, strangely, despite his inherent disdain for gods, he wasn't bothered by Artemisia's presence. Beatrix, oddly enough, didn't affect him either.

His feelings were a contradictory mix of suspicion and gratitude.

Now, let's fast forward a few years to his first eting with Agnes; when she invaded Evan's Soul Realm. (Chapter 667-668)

Evan had easily forgiven Agnes, despite her attempt to subjugate his soul—and there was a reason for that.

Instead of anger, Evan felt gratitude, because by probing deep into his soul, she had helped him discover things about himself that he hadn't known.

Things that future Artemisia and the EOTD still didn't know he had discovered.

It was thanks to Agnes that Evan confird he had a Previous Incarnation, but for so unknown reason, he had no mories of it.

This made his 'Reincarnated Hero' title take on a whole new aning.

The title hadn't appeared when he reincarnated into Aidos; it had been there even when he was still on Earth V.

And then, there was the most recent reminder of all of this.

The System ssage he received when he reached Level 700:

Existential Aspect 3: Soul.

Rejected.

Previous Logs show Pseudo-Authority of Evolution does NOT have suitable 'Authority' to interfere with Host's Soul.

No Attempts shall be made to Interfere with Host's Soul.

Reason: Host's soul has a higher 'Authority' than Adaptive Evolution, blocking interference.

At that ti, Evan had asked if it couldn't be any more obvious. He was naturally referring to his previous incarnation.

The Authority in Adaptive Evolution was future Artemisia's. Though only a fragnt, it was as powerful as the Pseudo-Authority a Transcendent who had comprehended the law of Evolution would possess.

And his soul's Authority was stronger than that at Level 700?

If that didn't make sense, nothing would.

'In conclusion, the Starry al in the Regal Void Expanse didn't give sarthim. It just awakened the sarthim that was already there.'

With this new understanding, Evan had two possible theories.

Either sarthim was the innate skill he was born with in this incarnation, or it was a power carried over from his previous one.

On a side note, future Artemisia was likely familiar with his Previous Incarnation. That much was clear from the words spoken in Chapter 668.

After reflecting on this, Evan deactivated Ti Difference with a heavy sigh.

'My list of questions keeps growing infinitely…

Just who the fuck was I in my previous incarnation?'

That was a question Evan desperately wanted an answer to. And that answer was far closer than he realized.

He sighed once more as he thought.

'Well, I'm more inclined to the theory of sarthim being my previous life's power. No, it definitely is my previous incarnation's power.'

He was now convinced of this, especially after rembering the series of black boxes in his Unique Skill Tab. The mont he solidified this thought in his mind, a series of system ssages appeared before his eyes.

[You have understood the fundantals of the power that is sarthim.]

[sarthim Damage and Efficiency increased by 25%.]

Evan's eyes widened at the sight.

'Free 25% damage just because I understood the fundantals of what sarthim was?

So, just by admitting and understanding that sarthim was my previous incarnation's power, that was enough to trigger this?'

But then, he paused.

'No, that probably isn't it.'

And as it turned out, he was right. Simply admitting that it was his previous incarnation's power wasn't enough to qualify as understanding the 'fundantals'.

What truly mattered was the entire scope of knowledge he had gathered about sarthim—his knowledge of the skill's abilities, his understanding of each of the flas, the distinct powers each fla possessed, and how to synergize them all.

All of these things, combined, made up the true 'fundantal understanding' of sarthim.

Evan recalled the fact that he still didn't know what VIOLET did, but was still considered to have a fundantal understanding.

That realization didn't bother him much, though.

He considered how he had gained a new colour of sarthim's flas for every Existence Level.

Starting with RED, he got ORANGE at level 400 when he beca a Grandmaster, YELLOW when he beca Epic, GREEN as a Legendary, and he would gain BLUE at Sovereign and INDIGO at Transcendent.

It was clear that he'd likely gain VIOLET after becoming a Deity. There was nothing fundantal about that.

'It's fine that I don't know what Violet does just yet. Knowing everything else is still enough to be considered understanding the fundantals.'

Hence, the boosts.

He had just concluded this when Jamie's words broke him out of his sea of thoughts.

"Well, let's leave your Ultimate Seed talk for now and focus on sothing more important."

"Sothing more important than an Ultimate Seed?"

Evan, intrigued by what Jamie might consider more important, asked the question. In response, Jamie leaned forward and spoke.

"What I want to focus on is how you were sent back in ti. I'm curious, you see?"

The atmosphere in the room grew more serious as Jamie continued.

"You arrived on Aramis on March 31st, right?"

"Yeah. Alvey told you?"

Evan assud Alvey had ntioned the date in his report to the Demon Kings, but Jamie's next words took him by surprise.

"He did ntion it. But I knew about you before he did."

Evan blinked in surprise. Alvey had made his report the sa day Evan arrived, right after their interrogation. Yet Jamie claid to have known about him even before Alvey.

"Let's rephrase "I knew soone—or sothing—had been sent through spaceti. I just didn't know where, and I didn't have the ti to investigate since I was busy."

"You sensed the Spatiotemporal Magic?"

Evan guessed, realizing that was the only way Jamie could have known and Jamie nodded in confirmation before asking,

"What's your main attribute? Elental, Laws and the like."

"Fire and Destruction. Maybe Ice?"

The Rogue Hero placed a hand on his chin, pondering the third one for a mont before shaking his head.

"Fire and Destruction. My Ice is the result of a Skill I got."

Jamie nodded, then turned to Arthur to ask about his attributes, which were obviously Ti and Destruction. Afterwards, Jamie pointed to himself and spoke.

"My main attribute is 'Space'.

The reason why people call the 'Demon King of the Void' and the reason I identify by that title are vastly different.

I call myself that because of my ability to manipulate the true 'Void'—Nothingness. Just like Arthur can."

Arthur raised his right hand, coating it with a silvery energy that made Evan's Danger Sense flare in alarm. It was then that Evan truly understood what Jamie ant.

Leaning back in his seat, Jamie once again retrieved another bottle of wine and so glasses from his subspace.

'Is this the third one now?'

Evan asked himself this as Jamie poured himself a drink before continuing.

"But I'm also called that because my control over space trumps even the Main Entity of Space. When people think of the void, they imagine the 'Void of Space'—the emptiness outside the atmosphere. But Void and Spatial manipulation are distinct, though often confused.

My Spatial prowess is so advanced that people have woven it into the title they've given . It's almost as if the law of Space is sentient and completely in love with ."

Jamie said this without so much as blinking as he poured himself a drink and then passed the bottle to Arthur, who examined it carefully, noticing the difference in production year compared to the one Jamie had brought out earlier, before pouring so for himself.

"Because of this, on March 31st, Rilene Xagna—the goddess of Space-Ti—ca to . She wanted my advice on sothing we both detected: a massive Spatiotemporal disturbance that we sensed despite being on opposite ends of the galaxy.

After eting with , she traced the trail to find its source, but it vanished before she could pinpoint its exact origin."

The star system Rilene found herself in while tracking the trail led her to Aramis. She later inford Jamie of this, and soon after, Jamie made his way to McEnda II, where he discovered Alvey reporting Evan's arrival to another Demon King.

"Both Rilene and I knew that soone or sothing was travelling through ti. I was certain of it; this wasn't my first encounter with ti travellers."

Jamie's gaze briefly flicked to Arthur as he ntioned the last two words, but he quickly returned his attention to Evan before Arthur could read too much into it.

"I see. So, you already had your eyes on from the start?"

"Yeah. I had not been able to co over to Aramis in present, and when I heard Arthur's reaction regarding your presence, I got interested.

I wanted to know what he saw with his Pseudo-Authority that made him want Beatrix, Artemisia and now you, around."

Jamie's words drew a quiet sigh from Arthur. They brought to mind the reason he had insisted on keeping Artemisia and Beatrix on Aramis, as well as his desire to keep Evan close.

The Nexus Event he had sensed approaching.
