"Like I did before," Khepri floated above the cube, touching it and infusing it with her spiritual energy.

Suddenly, various golden circuits expanded through the entire cube, rapidly beginning to spread and glow brightly. As the circuits expanded, the golden cube started to expand and open.

And inside, it revealed sothing, a piece of large chanical equipnt, a robot, or golem perhaps, of black, silver, and golden tal.

It was imbued with various red and purple jewels, and it overflowed with a powerful otherworldly energy.

And while the first ornant had the shape of a scarab originally before taking the humanoid form, this one…

It resembled a large chanical scorpion!

"There it is! My ornant!"

Khepri flew inside of it, activating it instantly, the giant scorpion of over two ters of height and several more ters of length started walking, making loud noises.

"It's moving well and it's working great!" Khepri said. "And- Ooohhhh?!"

She suddenly fell silent after saying that out of nowhere!

The kids remained in silence for a mont, as Khepri was processing the information she gained from having fused with the scorpion robot.

Pyuku and the rest of the friends gathered around a bonfire Aquarina had set up, where she started cooking a delicious stew with tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, so onion, garlic, and a lot of little cubes of all sorts of ats she had stashed away.

It was a quick and easy at, and potatoes stew that Sylphy always did whenever they wanted to eat sothing warm and delicious that could be made easily.

Of course, her Sylphy's cooking couldn't compare to hers, but she was doing her best.

However, the Floating Continent of Cloudia had three whole tribes, pretty surprising right? They had been hiding there because that continent is very ancient and was once inhabited by the gods… there are a lot of things… things they left behind."

"That's… Yeah, I know about Cloudia to an extent," Khepri nodded. "Well, uh, the Doppelgangers are indeed related to the Slis. As I said before, rember when I ntioned that the Gods had a grudge against them? Because of how much of a pain in the ass they ended being? The Gods decided to… well, after they managed to overpower and then overwhelm the Doppelgangers, and once they finally had them within their grasp, to punish them. To punish all the descendants of the Doppelgangers that brought so much destruction to them."

"P-Punish?" Aquarina wondered. "What does that even ans?"

"It ans what I said," said Khepri. "They genetically altered the larvae of the… of the Doppelganger groups that constantly brought chaos to their spaceships and even managed to take down so of them through their copy ability. They reduced their forms, took away their ability to copy DNA, and turned them… into their smallest, most reduced and featureless forms.
