That there was a whole city down here was beyond impressive and incredible, not only that but it was well maintained, and full of Molluskians, the race of humanoid sea snail people that lived deep under the sea.

Apparently, from the words of a child Shade and Nepheline t, nad Ephiatta, their King had used the powerful Rainbow Shell, an "Artifact of Pri Magic" that allowed the entire city to travel to the future, apparently as they escaped the threat of "Humans" that had arrived in their city and demanded things from them.

It was still vastly unclear what that ant at the end of the day, there were too many questions, and the very existence of such a powerful Ti Spell allowed a whole city to be teleported millions of years into the future seed utterly ridiculous, even in a world like this one.

"Should we keep this place a secret?" wondered Shade.

The thing is, the place was too beautiful and also too vulnerable, if they ended up spreading information about this to the rest of the world, people would co in droves to abuse the Molluskians and rob them of everything they had one way or another.

"If we end up spreading the fact this city exists to the rest of the world, there's a risk people might try to co down here and… do bad things to these people." Shade said, knowing full well of what people were capable of sotis.

Nepheline nodded at his words, she couldn't help but agree with his logic, she had thought the exact sa thing herself after all.

"They seem rather naive, yes," Nepheline nodded. "A child approached us and led us to their house, people only glared at us weirdly, but there wasn't even a single soldier trying to stop us or a guard… They're very unprotected."

"Indeed…" Shade agreed. "Although I am still unsure who this King is, and this Artifact of Pri Magic… or whatever it's called. I have also never heard of such a thing before. Nor of the item nor the term itself, this must be from ancient tis for sure then…"

"But first, we need to learn what is truly going on in here. Then we should go back to the surface to tell the villagers at least. I'm sure Aquarina and her friends would like to visit this place too." Nepheline said. "I want to et that King, but I doubt it'll be easy.. for now- Ah, there he is."

Ephiatta ca out of his house after opening the door from the second floor, slowly sliding through the wall.

"Heeeey! My parents said it was okay to co inside and have a talk! They're also interested in talking with humans! And because you're nice it seems there's no problem! Yaaaay!" Ephiatta celebrated. "Finally sothing different! I'm bored of every day being the sa!"

"A-Ahahaha, well, I'm glad you're happy," Shade laughed nervously.

"L-Let's go then, little one," Nepheline nodded. "Could you guide us?"

"Sure!"

Ephiatta went back ho through the second door and Shade and Nepheline had to climb there, it didn't take long but it was a bit weird.

"Here we are… Wow, it's colorful in here!" Nepheline looked inside.

The house looked like the spiraling interior of a conch, there were paintings everywhere, small statues, beautiful furniture made out of corals, shells, starfish and bones, and beautiful tapestry.

"It's indeed a wonderful ho," Shade nodded.

"Hehehe, thanks!" Ephiatta said. "I made those paintings there!"

He pointed at the paintings of a little snail with two parents holding hands, then another of the deep sea with fish and corals, and another of a big crab sitting over a rock, glancing at the horizon.

"You're talented for your age!" Nepheline nodded. "Wait, how old are you little Ephiatta?"

"I'm only two hundred!" Ephiatta giggled. "Mama said that once I reach three hundred I'll finally be considered an adult… but I can't wait so long!"

"T-Three hundred?!" Shade asked. "Uh… Your people sure age slowly."

"Huh? Humans do not take a hundred years to begin talking?" Wondered Ephiatta.

"O-Of course not…" Shade muttered.

"I suppose there's a big difference in the growth of our species," Nepheline said. "We are not older than forty."

"W-What?! Really?! And you can talk and look big and adult!" Ephiatta gasped. "Woow! Humans are so unique! I wish I could've grown up so quickly! I spent the first hundred years of my life just munching at algae and cuddling with mama and papa… It was boring!"

"H-Hahaha… well, everyone has their own… Uh, uniqueness," said Shade.

"Yeah!" Nepheline nodded. "Oh, is this the living room?"

They reached a wide room which was just as colorful as the rest, with much furniture of crescent shapes and fish shapes, the floor was made of blue jewels, and it resembled a scene right out of the depths of the sea.

"Hello, it is nice to et you."

"Yes, it is nice to et you."

And then Ephiatta's parents greeted the two heroes, they were a much taller and mature-looking pair of Molluskians, they were mature already and considered adults.

Assuming that Ephiatta was two hundred years old and a Molluskian is said to beco an adult at three hundred years, it ans these two are at the very least, five hundred years of age.

And yet they looked so young, their skin was silky and shiny, and their shells much bigger than their child, with several shiny jewels growing everywhere, beautifully decorated.

It seed they sculpted their own jewels into different shapes, the father, who was slightly bulkier than the mother, and had a slightly more manly, handso face with short tentacle hair, purple and black skin, and yellow eyes, had his shell's crystals shaped as fish swimming together in pairs.

anwhile, the mother, soone that seed to have a large pair of breasts similar mammals did such as humans or elves, long tentacle hair, and a beautiful and graceful appearance, with yellow and green skin and pink eyes, had sculpted her shell's crystals into coral shapes.

Shade and Nepheline were left in awe due to the beauty of these people, looking at them was like looking at a beautiful piece of art with so many details everywhere you could stand there staring and admiring them for hours.

"It might be the first ti we ever et humans…"

"So please forgive us if we don't know much about your customs."

They seed very friendly as well.
