Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out? Chapter 1679: Mana Ember

Aquarina had always admired Sylphy’s little Ember Magic, since she was a baby that Sylphy could conjure this one single Spell and then combine it into gigantic Spells. While other people usually had a hard ti conjuring their first spell, Sylphy not only could conjure Ember without end, but combine it into Fireball, Fire Tower, Blazing Wall, and even things such as Nova, a spell of high level which conjures compacted flas and unleashed a deadly explosion to a foe or area.

And that’s while she was still very young! And that, later on, Aquarina learned was due to Sylphy’s special ability, her System. The System granted her among her first Skills one called "Ember" which she no longer uses now, as she had told her it evolved into a stronger, higher-level Skill called [Petit teor] after years of just using Ember.

Unlike normal Magic, Skills can be used without limits and without any sort of effort, although later on Skills with cooldown effects appeared, most of them are like this. Sylphy was able to constantly conjure Ember thanks to her Endless Mana, another of her powerful traits.

This coupled with a small spell with no cooldown at all allowed her to literally conjure endless flas starting from tiny fire which she accumulates rapidly by dozens, hundreds, and then thousands!

Although she usually still does sothing similar with her newer Spells, it was always amazing to Aquarina seeing her friend conjuring massive spells out of thousands of tiny flas.

And now, right in her hands, she used the sa spell! One she had learned a while ago, and which she actually used to start fires, roast, or light candles.

Ember by itself had little to no damaging potential after all... But Sylphy made it lethal due to her ability to conjure it limitlessly with Endless Mana.

Nonetheless, Aquarina obtained sothing that sounded similar, and yet...

It wasn’t the sa.

"{Mana Ember}!"

FLUOSH!

What erged in her hands, at first sight, resembled indeed, a small fla, an Ember.

However, upon closer inspection, Aquarina realized that couldn’t be far from the truth.

Mana Ember wasn’t composed of fire; it wasn’t hot at all.

It was rather cold, but not phantasmal either.

"It’s just Mana...? Mana that blazes like flas?"

Aquarina was confused, she had conjured Pure Mana with no Elent attached to it, which was usually rather harmless. Pure Mana Spells were rare, and they were unstable and very hard to even conjure due to their ridiculous costs.

After all, Pure Mana, as an Elent, was unable to maintain itself without being given an Elental Power, Spirit Essence, or even Ki or Aura to strengthen itself.

Usually the Fuel of all Magic, to use the actual Fuel as a weapon was a hard thing to even execute by most people... However, Aquarina rembers that Sylphy does have Skills that employ Mana in strange ways.

Such as Distorting Mana, or using its distorted form to deal great damage, for example... Though she had never seen Sylphy unleash pure beams of Mana alone.

However, this "Mana Ember" changed everything.

"This is Mana given a blazing form, but that it isn’t attached to the Elent of Fire!" She said in surprise. "Usually it would cost so much Mana to maintain but it barely cost anything? Could this be the ans to use a non-elental spell to deal damage to a foe? If I ever fight sothing resistant to my elental affinities, then it could be really useful..."

Aquarina felt rather happy about the Skill and clearly saw its potential, although there was much more to it than she would have ever imagined...

After having eaten their fill, Aquarina and her friends rapidly departed to the second nest that they would definitely defeat today. They traveled through jungles, steppes, and beautiful, untad gardens of flowers of all colors, filled with treacherous slopes, holes in the ground, and the occasional giant flower monster, which was slain rapidly by Aquarina trying out her Mana Ember, which like Sylphy, could be combined into larger, fiery forms, blazing like white and blue fire.

Eventually, the party reached the second Giant Fire Ant Nest, this ti, they were greeted by almost a hundred Ants, which had been waiting for them to arrive... The party was rather surprised at the sight, as the ants glared everywhere while looking very serious.

"Yep, they’re definitely communicating using Telepathy or sothing! There’s no way they would’ve been able to tell we were coming otherwise!" Justicio said.

"Yeah I agree, these ants are a bit suspicious, aren’t they too strong and smart?" Silvia wondered.

"I suppose they must be an evolved form, it isn’t completely rare for monsters to develop new forms, powers, or evolve into stronger and more intelligent beings... Mother has told many tis of this happening," Agua said. "Perhaps their spirit energy-rich diet as they eat the crystals, have made them evolve many new abilities, among the things we saw from previous battles."

"Makes sense, a monster just unleashing a damn domain on is nothing normal, Agua," Aquarina nodded. "They can even create doppelgangers made of flas and even have telepathic connections between colonies! That’s just really raises all the flags."

"Hmm, what do we do then?" Pyuku wondered. "Should we charge right against them? It isn’t like we’re weak either, right?" Pyuku smiled. "And with so many targets, it’ll be easier to go all-out!"

"Hmm, wait a bit, we should calculate how many there are, Agua has to kill at least half, rember?" Aquarina asked. "So..."

Aquarina connected her hand to the ground, as the group hid behind a lot of bushes and trees above a small hill.

"{Earthen Connection}: {Eyes of the Earth}"

Aquarina conjured two Spells together, Earth Attribute Spells her mother had taught her and connected her senses and body with the earth.

Then, she expanded them into the underground colony, while glancing at the mound-shaped nest above ground.

She rapidly calculated and counted the lifeforms she left.

"Hmm, roughly two hundred. Yeah, there’s around 95 in front of us and over 120 undergrounds... Let’s kill these and then Agua can kill most of the ants underground," Aquarina nodded.

With that plan, the group leaped into another hunt, the last of the day.

The Inheritance was ever approaching as well, and at the end of this week, they would all join for their last great challenge.

And once that was over, Aquarina’s parents promised her she would return to Sylphy.

So for now, she had to work hard!
