Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out? Chapter 1721: Back To The Village
-----
Their arrival ca acompanied by the surprise of the villagers, who saw the big, winged man and were wondering who this person could be. So began speculating to themselves who he could be, but not many really went to talk to him or sothing. The Oasis people were quite shy and reserved people and would usually not try to pry into other people’s business, unless they were affecting the Oasis and the Jungles they protected.
"Agua, my daughter, you’re back...!"
Agua’s mother greeted her daughter with a smile, hugging her tightly as she felt rather worried about her. They had arrived rather late today. The night was already almost completely taking over the sky, with the sun long gone and its last rays of light coming from the horizon.
"A-Ah yes, we’re back mother... Um, a lot happened. Did you hear any commotion or tremors?"
"Of course, we were quite worried about you! Aquarina’s parents said they would go look after you once the night arrived, but I’m glad you’re back safely."
"A-Ah yeah, we’re back safely but a lot happened... And, um, well this is Quetzalcoatl."
"Huh? A winged... man?"
Aguarapida glanced at Quetzalcoatl’s enormous figure and muscular, handso fra, blushing slightly over the sheer handsoness and manliness he exuded, it was nothing like the n of the village.
But aside from his imposing appearance and manly beauty, there were many unique traits about his appearance, his feathers, for example, his sharp scaled talons for hands and feet, and his giant pair of wings.
"It is nice to et you, Lady Aguarapida... Your daughter has talked about you, she has told you’re a very good mother."
"A-Ah! Yes... But who are you? Where did you co from, young man?"
"I... well, I lived in the cliffs... It’s complicated."
"Complicated?"
Aguarapida glanced at her daughter, Agualinda, wondering what was going on in here.
"Rember the Wind Tribe, mom? The winged people of old? Well... Uh, he’s a mber of such tribe."
"..."
Her mother remained in silence for a mont, trying to process what her daughter even said right now.
A mber of an ancient tribe that wasn’t even alive anymore?
How could that even be possible at all?
"Y-You’re truly... Are you truly from the ancient Wind Tribe? The people that lived here before everyone else?! But how...?! I thought that...! Ah..."
Suddenly, Aguarapida noticed a crowd forming around them.
"It’s better if we talk this inside our ho, mom, there’s too many people in here... And I’m sure Quetz needs so privacy."
"Yes, you’re right... Let’s go ho then."
They quickly made their way inside the house as Aguarapida addressed the people, telling them she would tell them everything once she talked with the new guest and her daughter and her friends.
"I’m sorry about the commotion, I am sure many of you have questions about our new guest... I shall answer them all once I am done talking with them. For now, rest at ease, he seems to be a great friend of my daughter, and a friend of my daughter is also my friend."
"We’ll trust you, chief."
"I am really wondering who could that handso young man be..."
"He had wings... doesn’t he remind you of sothing?"
"Birds?"
"No, there was sothing... the Wind Tribe, right?"
"We’ll learn more later, so let’s just go have dinner already, dear."
The people, mostly groups of families, quickly made their way back ho. It was quite late, and the Oasis usually went to sleep early unless they had to do so ritual at night.
"Phew..."
With that done, Aguarapida sighed in relief, she was glad her people weren’t going to bombard her with questions for the mont.
The arrival of a new uninvited guest always brought a lot of attention and words. Aquarina and her friends, and parents, saved themselves from people’s hostility because they were admired heroes, but for Quetzalcoatl, it might not be the sa.
Once finally inside ho, Quetz was already surrounded by the two heroes, who had showed up from the garden, they had reprimanded Aquarina for coming so late though.
"So you’ve brought soone new this ti, huh? A winged boy, so you’re a Bird Anima I suppose," Nepheline said. "Hmm, you look really strong! Where did you even co from?"
"I-I..." Quetzalcoatl was intimidated by the enormous, muscular woman in front of him which even his tall height couldn’t compare to.
"You’re scaring him, Nepheline, he seems quite shy," said Shade. "Are you a traveler or so sort of adventurer? Welco to the village. If my daughter brought you here I can trust you’re not a bad person."
"I... don’t know about that..." Quetz sighed, looking down. "Wait, your daughter? Whose parents are you?"
"Mine," Aquarina said, walking to his side. "He’s a Wind Tribe mber, mom, dad. We found him in the cliffs, he was a giant bird monster before though, so we had to defeat him... It took all our effort combined to do that though, he sure was strong."
"He was a monster before?!" Shade asked.
"Huh? Wait, what?" Nepheline wondered.
"Well, uh... it’s a long story, so let’s talk that while having dinner please, we’re starving here," said Aquarina.
After she said that, Justicio and Silvia nodded, although they didn’t want to get cocky and say they were hungry out loud. They were all relying on the hospitality and goodwill of other people after all.
"Heh, alright, let’s eat sothing then," Nepheline nodded. "I was also feeling a bit hungry."
"I was thinking of having so fish today, there’s also red at from the beast we hunted," Shade said.
"Oooh you hunted sothing?" Wondered Aquarina.
"Not in here though, we are not permitted to hunt," said Shade. "But we went outside the Oasis to Everstone for a few hours. In the way there we hunted a giant Stone Rhinoceros that was harassing a group of young Walking Cactuses."
"Walking Cactuses are precious plant-type monsters that walk around the desert and spread humidity everywhere," said Nepheline. "So we defended them and got so fruits out of them... Albeit forcefully, heheh."
"Nice! I want sothing else than seafood..." Aquarina was very happy.
