As Aquarina and her friends explained to her parents what happened, they finally started telling them about the ti they almost got their minds eaten.

"Uh, when we were checking the interior of the nest, our minds were suddenly dragged and trapped inside a Mindscape..." Aquarina muttered, looking a bit worried over her mother’s next reaction.

"YOU WHAT?!"

Her mother and even her father reacted in shock, while the chief, who was still a bit distracted, didn’t quite hear what they said at first.

"Hm? W-What happened?"

As she looked back at the two heroes, who were surprised, they quickly cald down and sat down as if nothing, although their initial reaction was very unlike them.

"So that happened..." Shade muttered. "There’s a monster capable of dragging minds and souls into a Mindscape to destroy them? And it only did it because you spread your Aura into the nest’s interior?"

"That’s definitely not normal at all, no creature should have such power..." Nepheline said.

"Yeah, that’s why I believe it could possess so sort of divine power," explained Aquarina.

"But how is that even possible? Monsters don’t just suddenly get divine power out of nowhere," said Shade.

"Even those you fought that had it been experintal creatures made by the gods to begin with, or byproducts of their creations," said Nepheline. "A naturally occurring divinity-powered monster? That’s... it shouldn’t happen."

"Why?" Aquarina wondered.

"A Divine Spark is not sothing attained naturally through the life of a monster. Even if they are very strong and eat magical stones, monstera, or perhaps even souls, even then, they might never be able to obtain such a thing," explained Shade. "Although monsters that are past Tier 10 do exist, but mostly in the Dark Side of the Demon King Continent or in Abyssal Labyrinths, their power is still not completely like a Divinity, it just more raw power and mana stacked into their even larger, stronger bodies. Divinity Sparks are much more complex things, they require comprehension of sothing. Perhaps artificial divine beings like the gods we fought before can be created by the Gods, but they don’t naturally occur."

"So its weird, its probably... no, if it did sothing like that and Aquarina is so sure, then divinity... perhaps a Divine Beast?" Wondered Nepheline. "Could one of those things have gotten in here?"

"Divine Beasts?" Aquarina asked, confused.

"They are Beasts that exist in the Divine Realm of the Gods," explained Shade. "They don’t naturally occur here. And unlike any other monster, they’re born out of the Divinity of a God itself... Very dangerous, and powerful. We only fought one once, a wounded one that had rebelled against their god and escaped, we were tasked with taking it down. Its materials were then used to reforge a lot of our equipnt to confront the Demon King, and even then, we struggled against him... He also had a Divinity Spark already, but we didn’t."

"O-Oh..." Aquarina gasped, learning more about the past always fascinated her. "Wait, so... It could be one of those? But there’s sothing weird about it..."

"Sothing weird?" Asked Nepheline. "What else?"

"I think everyone felt it, right?" Aquarina asked her friends. "That thing, the one governing the rest of the Fire Ants didn’t have just normal Divinity."

"Yeah... Its Divinity was... It was brighter and also more... more ethereal, I think it reminded of the Great Spirit of the Oasis, in terms of density," Agua nodded.

"S-So it was a Divine Spirit?!" Asked Nepheline. "No wait, that can’t be either... can it?"

"I don’t know..." Shade sighed. "The Great Spirit of the Oasis is very powerful indeed, her Spiritual Power is Divine too, yes. If you say the leader of all the fire ants actually had divine spirit power, then... maybe that could be it."

"What?" Nepheline wondered.

"Aguarapida, do you know bout other Great Spirits aside from the Oasis Spirit?" Shade wondered. "We’ve just learned there was another one too, the Great Spirit of the Cliff Winds. And then there’s Khepri over there... Who says to be an Artificial Spirit, her powers are also rather Divine, aren’t they? Although not at the caliber of the Great Oasis Spirit because she has been accumulating Faith from her people for thousands of years but... Khepri seems to be on a previous stage to her but seem to share similar origins. Based in what she said that she knew the Great Oasis Spirit and all..."

"Wait, what are you even speculating now, Shade? You sotis go on and on with your own words I get lost..." Nepheline reprimanded him.

"A-Ah, sorry, I didn’t want to sound confusing but..." Shade looked at Khepri, who had been listening to the conversation while eating fish and potatoes. "Khepri, you know about him perhaps? Or even the Great Spirit of the Cliff Winds..."

"Eh? Wait, are you suggesting that... All of the other Spirits could relate to my team?!" Khepri wondered. "But that’s... I do rember her face, but she doesn’t rember ... I guess he had amnesia then?"

"Huh? W-What?" The chief didn’t know everything yet herself.

"It’s a bit complicated to explain but..." Shade went on and on about Khepri and what he had learned about her from his daughter and her friends.

"S-So the Oasis Spirit could have such an origin? Incredible..." The Chief said. "But well, I don’t really feel... anything in particular? She’s still our guardian at the end of the day... We never speculated much about her origins either way."

"Ah, that’s a relief," said Nepheline.

"I would prefer to keep it a secret for now either way, and we don’t have any confirmation too, only the words of Khepri... I an, we would of course trust her, but if the Oasis Spirit herself doesn’t rember, there’s little point in bringing it up to her," the chief nodded. "Right, Agua?"

"I... guess so?" Agua wondered. "Yeah... But there’s also another Great Spirit, the Great Spirit of the Cliff Winds... Khepri, do you rember him?"

"Rember a big, green colored bird that was very annoying and chatty? Of course I can’t rember sothing like that, I never- Wait a second, I do have mories of that?!" Khepri gasped.

Sotis, when you have amnesia, mories tend to co back in the weirdest of ways.
