As Khepri’s past was revealed and so was her connection to everything happening right now, from the Oasis Spirit bringing new life to the Oasis and the Dry Steppes, to the origin of the Ancient Wind Tribe and their Guardian, to Quetzalcoatl’s tragedy that was provoked by this spirit losing their original mories and becoming sothing completely different... and even now, to the invasion of these Fire Ants, who had revealed their divine guardian to everyone else when they went to attack their nest.

"Hmm, I do have so speculations myself."

Shade had so "speculations" that he shared with everyone else, helping them further understand the situation.

"I would say that all of the Artificial Spirits from Khepri’s team that landed here lost their mories. Even Khepri did, so they had to gather her ornants to recover it. Unlike them though, Khepri kept most of her original self I believe. And seed to have never sought worship and faith and instead simply parasitized monsters for their mana to survive, making them strangely strong."

"I didn’t do that because I wanted to, okay?!" Khepri complained.

She was quite terrible at explaining, so his words made things much clearer inside the minds of everyone in here.

"anwhile the Water and the Wind Spirit were a bit smarter, so they gathered and protected people, and in exchange, their Faith and Worship made them grow stronger, they even chose Priests, Agua and Quetzalcoatl here."

"S-Smarter?! I am pretty smart too! While they got all their mories lost I got them back and my ornants which are super strong...!" Khepri complained even more. "A-And...!"

"Co on Khepri, let Shade explain things," Silvia sighed, patting her head.

"And what about the fire spirit, dad?" Aquarina asked.

"The Fire Spirit... Well, like Khepri, the last, fourth Fire Spirit, ended parasitizing monsters... But in a different way, it seed to have combined both thods to stay alive together, perhaps by accident."

"By accident?" Nepheline wondered.

"Yeah, perhaps it did what Khepri did, jumping from host to host, and ultimately found such a good host that it stayed with it, further possessing it and rging with it, sothing Spirits can do with their Master. Perhaps in one way or another, this Spirit forged a Master and Familiar contract with this Giant Fire Ant Queen, a speculated being they could be possessing, and created a stronger bond than before."

"Is that so..." Nepheline rubbed her chin. "But how did the spirit take over their mind?"

"It wouldn’t be too hard, monsters tend to be dumber than us or even spirits, a giant fire ant queen was definitely not at the level of intelligence they could oppose a spirit’s mind. The spirit probably possessed their entire body and ultimately took over their own mind, perhaps in a similar way they did that to you all, or maybe... maybe both rged so much, to the point they cannot distinguish if they’re one or the other. The spirit might have started believing they are the Ant Queen due to their lack of mories..."

In that mont, Quetzalcoatl glanced at Shade, and Shade looked back at him. Although his case was definitely not the sa, that Quetzalcoatl had within his soul the Great Spirit of the Cliff Wind’s powers was a great clue to sothing similar happening in the past.

"And well, because the host, a Giant Fire Ant Queen could lay eggs, they gained an excessive amount of Faith from monsters instead of people... in the form of the undying loyalty of the Ants towards their Queen. I could even say that’s a cheat, and well, monsters cannot form Divine Sparks naturally, so it would truly not be possible either way..."

"But because the Ant Queen had rged with an Artificial Spirit of Fire, who already co with so Divinity, perhaps shared by the Gods, their creators... well, it beca a possibility to gain faith from re monsters. And she could produce thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, eventually."

Although he simply called it all an "speculation", Shade had figured it all out. His deduction skills were incredible, and he made for an amazing detective, perhaps the best in the world, with all the abilities he had to help him complent such talent even further.

"That sounds freaking ridiculous!" Said Aquarina. "How could that even... wait, no, it makes sense."

She quickly fell silent for a mont while processing everything her father said.

And indeed, it all made sense inside of her head!

From what her father said about the spirits, their connection, their thod of growth, he had figured it all within re minutes.

"So that’s... what has happened, wow that really clears the mind," Justicio nodded. "Amazing, uncle! You’re really like a detective..."

"I suppose I have quite the skills for one," Shade said. "I was an assassin, these deduction skills helped find those I had to slay as part of the contracts of my previous job."

"A-Assassin...?!" Silvia gasped.

"Perhaps I shouldn’t have said that..." Shade sighed.

"Babaah!" Esralda looked at Shade her little hands were constantly trying to reach him.

He gently grabbed her, letting her sit down over his legs, the girl seed happy, moving her little chubby legs and arms everywhere.

She was too adorable...

"A-Ahem! Well, with what we’ve learned so far, our foe might as well be another Great Spirit... Indeed, this isn’t sothing Agualinda could do, even with the help of her friends," Aguarapida sighed. "We have to tell the Great Oasis Spirit about this and make her reconsider the challenge she gave to you... I am sure she was not aware of this challenge."

"But wouldn’t it be a pain either way? It was really hard to contact her just once before..." Aquarina said. "I think mom and dad could do it just fine, right?"

"Hm, there’s no option," Shade nodded.

"We can tell her about what happened later," Nepheline said.

It seed both heroes agreed to help out, this nest of monsters was too dangerous either way, so they felt obligated to help, forced, almost.

"If we let these ants do as they please, the entire Oasis might end up being destroyed... we must take care of this quickly," Nepheline said.

"Tomorrow morning we’ll depart, Aquarina and everyone else will co with us," Shade nodded.

Everything was decided.
