Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out? Chapter 2100: They Are Too Strong!

"That attack took quite a toll on me!" Arafunn shouted, breathing heavily. "But those things... not everyone died!"
Ninhursag shifted back into a more mobile form, wiping blood from the corner of her mouth. The backlash from using her technique without proper restraint had taken its toll. "So we have to kill them multiple times or land an attack strong enough to pierce their divine protection. Two of them already died. They were likely used as living meat shields by the others...! If I can reach their corpses and devour them, I can recover. Arafunn, what’s your plan?!"
As she asked that question, the bosses demonstrated just how much they had learned from every previous exchange. The knowledge they had accumulated from years of fighting adventurers had made each death only strengthen them further, turning them into far more dangerous threats.
While Ninhursag and Arafunn considered their next move, the monsters sprang into action. The Hive Empress Vesara stepped forward on her large, powerful legs, manding the group with authority while the Mal’thir observed everything from above.
"Formation Delta!" the Hive Empress Vesara manded, her cold feminine laugh echoing across the battlefield. "Tanks to the front! Casters, focus fire on the elf! Brood, swarm them! Don’t let them recover. Kill them! We can all have a share!" she laughed.
Having gained human-like intellect — or perhaps something even superior — the monsters had learned the value of cooperation and sacrifice. The concept of "sharing" had bee incredibly strong among them. No longer were they selfish beasts fighting only for themselves. Now they actively worked together, even across different species, all united with one goal: to kill and devour humans.
"SHYAAAAAAGH!"
The Greater Miasmic Hydra lunged forward, its multiple regenerating heads serving as living shields against Arafunn’s aura and domain. Sharp cutting tornadoes of wind automatically tore outward from the elf hero, while Ninhursag’s own aura responded on its own. Giant beast-like spiritual forms clashed violently against the monsters as both heroes tried to recover their energy and catch their breath.
The Greater Miasmic Hydra sneered and opened its many jaws, unleashing endless streams of miasma and venom. Arafunn’s tornadoes caught the poisonous spray and scattered it across the city below. The remaining refugees who were still fleeing were caught in the deadly rain. They coughed up blood and began collapsing, unconscious.
"Damn it! Go!" Ninhursag cried out in panic. She sent several of her spirits rushing downward. The spirits grabbed the fallen people and healed them while carrying them to safety.
"SHYEAHAHAHAH!"
The Greater Miasmic Hydra laughed maniacally and stomped over the spirits. Ninhursag’s fury exploded. She charged forward and clashed with the beast alone while Arafunn watched in alarm. The other monsters smiled viciously and began swarming her as he was kept busy by the rest of the monsters.
"Ninhursag, wait! You cannot do this alone!" Arafunn begged her, but with innocent lives still on the line, he clenched his teeth and moved to help.
Only to be stopped again and again.
RUMBLE!
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
"Where do you think you’re going, elf?"
"You will stay right here and entertain us!"
The Storm Sovereign and the Profaned Archangel rained lightning and corrupted holy beams from above, forcing Arafunn into a purely defensive stance. He formed barrier after barrier to protect himself from their descending spells and powerful attacks.
"Hahaha! What’s wrong?! Afraid of some close contact?!"
Mal’thir laughed as he descended like a glowing meteor and crashed against Arafunn’s barriers, shattering them with his pair of glowing divine and demonic weapons and pushing the hero backward.
Arafunn was genuinely struggling now. Mal’thir chased him relentlessly, swinging his swords with incredible mastery and technique. Downward slashes, vertical slashes, horizontal slashes, rapid slashes, cross slashes, piercing thrusts, feints, and binations of raw physical power and magical energy all came at once. This was made even more dangerous by the defensive power of his divine protection. All the while, the Storm Sovereign continued raining titanic thunderbolts from the sky and healing his allies, proving to be the largest annoyance besides the powerful Mal’thir himself.
"Ungh?! You damn...! How does a monster like you know how to fight so well?!" Arafunn growled. He took out his flute and began playing it. Dozens of gigantic musical notes made of pressed wind and spiritual energy struck Mal’thir, generating powerful explosions of vibration that shook his internal body and broke it apart... only for the monster to rapidly regenerate once more.
"Hahaha! I have watched adventurers descend our tower time and time again. I have been slain many times!" Mal’thir declared. "Every time I was killed, I barely had a mind of my own. I was merely an echo of ancient beings created by the gods, never given their true power or intelligence. Only a glimpse of their appearance or pale imitations of their abilities!"
Mal’thir stepped forward, turning into shadows and disappearing. He reappeared behind Arafunn. His light blade grew gigantic, cutting through wind pressure and barriers alike, and cleanly severing the hero’s right arm.
"Nnnghh!" Arafunn clenched his teeth hard against the searing pain as his arm fell. The Hive Empress Mother quickly caught it and devoured the limb, already beginning to channel its power for herself. "You damn bastard!"
He finally let go of his inhibitions. With a furious roar, Arafunn unleashed a devastating chaotic symphony. Destructive storms and tornadoes surged forward, forming an endless armory of piercing, impaling, and slashing winds that began breaking through Mal’thir’s divine barriers.
"Heh, hahahaha! Seeing you struggle is most delightful, hero!" Mal’thir mocked him while continuously regenerating. "As you can see, I am no longer just a monster. I am no longer merely an echo of the past but a true being of my own! And with the blessing of Mother Lolth, we are an unstoppable group of warriors — brothers and sisters united to take over this planet!"
Mal’thir laughed wildly as he clashed against Ninhursag once more. Their battle grew even fiercer as Arafunn poured more and more lethal symphonies into the fight, tearing through divine barriers and colliding violently with the beams of corrupted light from the fallen archangel-like monster.
