A smirk tugs at the corner of my mouth as I walk down the hallway. Lilith has basically beco my beta tester at this point. I still haven’t touched Aleena or Erin yet, so every ti I cum inside Lilith, they’re probably secretly wondering whether it’s real or just blanks. Erin has always wanted to sleep with , but she keeps holding herself back so Aleena doesn’t feel left out. She agreed to wait until after the wedding. Sooner or later, they’ll figure out I’m using a skill to shoot blanks. I wonder how long I can keep this little ga going.
I step into the living room and imdiately spot Aleena rushing toward with a bright smile.
"Jacob! Where are you going without eating? I just finished making your food," she says, her voice filled with gentle scolding.
I stop and look at her. "Don’t get mad. I’m heading to the Auction House to pick up the person I told you about."
Aleena furrows her brows slightly, tilting her head. "You’re going to bid at the auction?"
I shake my head. "No. The person I want is one of the Auction Master’s personal maids. My intel says the master loves money, but I’m not sure they’d be willing to sell one of their own slaves."
Concern flickers across Aleena’s face. She steps closer and places a hand against my chest. "I’m coming with you. I have more connections in those circles. Let preserve your food so you can eat when you return."
Before I can respond, she hurries toward the kitchen.
I watch her leave, a strange warmth blooming in my chest. Aleena has always had this effect on . Even now, after everything, she still lts my defenses without trying. If I didn’t have this perverted class, maybe my life would’ve gone down a completely different path — sothing simpler. Maybe I would’ve just built a quiet family with her.
But no matter how hard I try, I can’t love all my won equally.
Aleena occupies a place in my heart the others simply can’t reach.
A few minutes later, she returns wearing an extravagant green noble dress. Golden embroidery flows from top to bottom, while the stiff flared collar gives her an elegant, regal appearance. The dress hugs her curves perfectly, accentuating her full breasts and wide hips.
She looks absolutely breathtaking.
I can’t help myself.
As she walks closer, I reach out and smack her curvy ass firmly through the gown. The sharp sound echoes through the room.
Aleena lets out a startled yelp, her cheeks turning pink. "Jacob!"
I grin and squeeze her ass once more before finally letting go. "You look incredible in that dress."
She huffs, though she clearly enjoys the attention. "We should get going if you want to catch the Auction Master in a good mood."
We step outside together, stopping in the courtyard.
"Wait here for a minute," I tell her. "I need to check on sothing."
Aleena nods and leans casually against the car while I head around the back of the house. Rudy’s stable soon cos into view. I push open the door and step inside.
The massive horse is exactly where I left him yesterday, still deep in hibernation. His enormous chest rises and falls slowly. None of the feed has been touched, and there isn’t even fresh shit on the floor.
That confirms it.
Rudy has truly entered hibernation to complete his next evolution.
I stand there silently for a mont, staring at the powerful creature. A slow smile spreads across my face. I pat his side gently before leaving the stable and shutting the door behind .
When I return, I slide into the driver’s seat while Aleena settles beside , her elegant green dress flowing beautifully around her legs. We take off toward the Auction House.
Thanks to the new car’s flight capability, the journey takes less than ten minutes. Soon, the towering structure cos into view, piercing the sky like a monunt.
The largest Auction House in Alowood.
I glance sideways at Aleena. "So, what’s your plan?"
She turns toward with a seductive look, her eyes half-lidded and lips slightly parted.
My heart nearly jumps out of my chest.
"Who taught you how to look at like that?" I ask with amusent.
Aleena huffs playfully and leans back in her seat. "You shouldn’t underestimate a woman." A faint smile curls across her lips. "My plan is simple. We use money to reach the Auction Master. Only a handful of people even know what the master actually looks like."
I sigh and nod. "Fair enough."
We land smoothly in the designated parking area. I step out first, and Aleena follows right behind , looking every bit like a noble lady in her extravagant green gown embroidered with gold.
I hand her a heavy pouch of silver coins along with another half-filled with gold.
Together, we walk toward the main entrance.
As soon as we enter the guarded territory, one of the uniford guards approaches respectfully.
"How may I assist you, my lord and lady? Which departnt or auction floor are you heading to?"
Aleena answers calmly. "We wish to see the Auction Master."
The guard’s expression instantly pales. "I’m afraid I can’t help with that request—"
Aleena smoothly slides a silver coin into his palm.
The change is imdiate.
The guard smiles faintly and lowers his voice. "I don’t have direct information, but my superior might know sothing."
He leads us deeper into the complex.
His superior gives us the sa nervous refusal until Aleena slips five more silver coins into his hand. Then the cycle repeats itself. More silver. Then gold. Bribes exchanged through multiple layers of security as each guard becos slightly more cooperative than the last.
Eventually, we arrive before a towering burly man nearly eight feet tall. His massive muscular arms bulge beneath his uniform, and even for a human, he looks absurdly huge.
This guard is directly linked to the Auction Master.
Reaching him has already cost us an entire pouch of silver coins and half a pouch of gold.
The giant guard stares down at us with crossed arms and a stern expression.
"State your business."
I stand beside Aleena as we face the towering man. Surprisingly, she doesn’t look intimidated at all. Her posture remains straight, chin slightly lifted with quiet authority.
This is a side of her I rarely get to see.
The assertive, intimidating disciple of Edrel.
And sohow, it sends a thrill through .
I’ve only ever known her gentle and loving side until now.
"We wish to see the Auction Master," Aleena says firmly.
The burly guard’s ears twitch slightly. His gaze shifts between us before settling on .
"It costs a fortune to et the Auction Master," he says coldly. "Besides, you shouldn’t have brought a vampire with you."
Both Aleena and I widen our eyes in shock.
"What’s the problem?" Aleena asks sharply. "He’s my husband."
The guard snorts. "The Auction Master doesn’t like vampires, but she doesn’t hate them either. She’ll speak to one as long as enough money is involved."
I step forward. "How much are we talking?"
The giant studies for a mont before answering.
"One hundred gold coins."
Aleena imdiately places a hand on my arm, trying to stop . "Honey, are you sure that’s worth it?"
I shake my head. "We’ve already spent around fifty gold coins getting this far. Turning back now would be pointless."
I open my inventory and pull out one hundred gleaming gold coins.
The burly guard’s eyes widen slightly in surprise.
He carefully counts every single coin before pocketing them. Then he pulls out a sleek black card and hands it over to .
"I won’t tell you my na," he says gruffly. "But with this card, either of you can see the Auction Master next ti without all this hassle."
I nod and slip the card into my pocket.
The guard turns and leads us deeper into the massive Auction House. We descend a long spiral staircase carved from dark stone while the air gradually grows denser with mana.
Finally, we stop in front of an empty room.
At the center of the floor, intricate glowing runes pulse with bright blue light.
Aleena’s eyes widen slightly, but she says nothing. Instead, she grabs my hand firmly and steps onto the runes beside , following the guard.
A blinding flash of white light engulfs us.
The world spins for a split second.
When the light fades, we find ourselves inside an enormous luxury apartnt.
The space is massive, with ceilings so high they nearly vanish into the lighting above. Floating crystal chandeliers drift lazily through the air, casting warm golden light across luminescent marble floors. Silk curtains billow dramatically in an artificial breeze, revealing floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a breathtaking sky.
Expensive artifacts and ancient relics line the walls, while the air itself feels saturated with incredibly dense, high-quality mana — richer than anything I’ve ever felt before.
Off to one side, several beautiful won with silver shackles around their ankles play soft lodies using violins and flutes. Their elegant music fills the room beautifully.
Far across the apartnt, a figure sits with her back facing us while staring out at the open sky.
She wears a flowing red gown embroidered with intricate golden patterns that ripple beautifully in the artificial wind.
But the most striking feature is the nine large fluffy tails extending from her lower back.
They sway gracefully behind her as though they possess lives of their own.
The burly guard imdiately scurries forward and bows deeply.
"Master, so people wish to see you."
Aleena and I freeze.
"The Auction Master... is a female fox?" I mutter under my breath.
My heart starts pounding violently.
I nearly shit myself on the spot.
My horrible experience with that fox woman still haunts , and this body seems to carry its own instinctive paranoia toward fox won too. A lingering hatred from my predecessor, perhaps.
But the nine tails make it infinitely worse.
They radiate terrifying power.
Every instinct in my body screams at .
Even Aleena looks absolutely terrified now.
This feeling...
It’s the sa overwhelming pressure I felt standing before Edrel.
The figure slowly turns around.
A breathtakingly beautiful face cos into view, frad by sharp fox ears, piercing blue eyes, and long flowing silver hair.
