As she savored the surprisingly delicious arm of the mountain gnoll general, Scaly was surprised to discover that sothing suddenly appeared in front of her, as she unconsciously jumped back in surprise.
However, as she stood there for a few seconds staring at the familiar screen floating in the air in front of her, she quickly cald down again.
At the sa ti, she also discovered that sothing heavy and filled with magic was now present in her stomach. Looking at the screen still floating in front of her, she guessed that this thing in her stomach should be the inferior grade dragon blood that had been ntioned.
However, as she was feeling the thing dragon blood now in her stomach, Scaly was shocked to discover that it was slowly being absorbed by her body before strengthening her own dragon blood. Confirming that her earlier guess of consuming dragon blood was indeed useful for increasing the purity of her dragon blood.
The only problem was that the speed at which the dragon blood inside her stomach was absorbed by her body was extrely slow and would take at least another few minutes.
If she ate the rest of the arm, it would likely take hours- if not longer for her to finish absorbing all of the dragon blood inside the arm of the mountain dwelling troll.
Not to ntion, the improvent brought to her dragon blood was minimal. Even consuming the entire arm of the mountain dwelling troll, she doubted whether or not she would even be able to increase the purity of her dragon blood by a single percentage point.
Even then, she wasn’t too discouraged by this, as she had finally managed to find another path to increasing the purity of her dragon blood. After all, it was not like she had suddenly expected for her dragon blood to undergo an earth-shattering transformation after consuming the dragon blood in the arm of the mountain dwelling troll.
On the other hand, if she had really ended up going through an earth-shattering transformation after consuming the dragon blood inside a monster that wasn’t even remotely related to dragons outside of a hunger to eat them, she would be rather surprised.
Hm? But the screen that appeared did ntion that the dragon blood inside the arm of the mountain dwelling troll was only inferior, sa as mine. Perhaps, if I consu dragon blood with a higher purity level than my own, it will be different...
Narrowing both her eyes as she thought about this while looking down at the arm of the mountain dwelling troll, Scaly could not help rembering the drake she had seen on her way to the mountain range.
If she could consu the dragon blood inside the drake. How much would her dragon blood improve...

Shaking her head the next second before she went and did sothing dumb like climbing up the taller mountain in search of the drake before even going through her fourth evolution, Scaly returned her attention to the arm of the mountain dwelling troll in front of her-
Chomp!
And without a second thought, she once again chomped down on it. Focusing on absorbing as much dragon blood as possible for now. Only partly paying attention to the battle that was playing out in the mountain path below in case she had a chance to seize the rest of the mountain dwelling troll’s body. Ready to use the mana she had gathered so far to collapse the already cracking rocky walls of the mountain path when an opportunity presented itself.

Bang! Bang! Bang!
Unaware that there was soone secretly observing them from above and planning to collapse the rocky walls around them, the two powerful monsters inside the narrow mountain path continued to violently clash with each other without slowing down in the slightest.
Even the fact that the mountain dwelling troll had one of its arms torn off didn’t seem to affect the battle, as the mountain dwelling troll had already stopped the bleeding coming from where its arm had once been, as it seed to have redirected all of its power to its last remaining arm through so kind of secret technique. Allowing it to hold on against the mountain gnoll general even with an arm missing.
Ptsh!
Unfortunately, it couldn’t last for long, as the mountain dwelling troll soon threw up a large amount of blood soaking the mountain gnoll general from head to toe before being thrown back into the boulder that was blocking the mountain path-
BANG!
Crack-!
Soon enough causing countless cracks to spread all over the large boulder before it began to crumble on top of the bloody mountain dwelling troll.
ROOAR!
Seeing this the mountain gnoll general believed his opponent to have been killed, as he let out a loud triumphant roar that was soon followed up by the cheering growls of the mountain gnolls who had been observing the fight from a safe distance-
Whoosh-!
However, just at this mont, the mountain dwelling troll that should have been dead suddenly jumped up from under the pile of debris that had landed on top of it-
Roar!?
BANG!
And before the triumphant mountain gnoll general had any ti to react, he was hit square in the face by the powerful fist of the mountain dwelling troll’s last remaining arm before sent flying into the cheering mountain gnolls with a shocked expression plastered all over its forrly cheerful face. Shocked at the fact that it had actually been knocked flying by the mountain dwelling troll.
Swish-!
Of course, the mountain dwelling troll understood that it wouldn’t be able to kill the mountain gnoll general that easily in the first place, so it took the opportunity while the mountain gnoll general was still flying towards the cheering mountain gnolls to turn around and used all of its remaining strength to charge towards the path that had now opened up following the destruction of the boulder. Knowing very well that this might be its only chance to escape alive.
After all, outside of the mountain gnoll general, there was still the large number of weaker mountain gnolls behind it that it would have to deal with.
Although able to hold off these weaker mountain gnolls under normal circumstances, it had no way to do so in its current state.
Rumble-!
Growl...?
Growl!?
Roooooaaar!?
However, just as the mountain dwelling troll had begun to escape, it was shocked to suddenly hear a loud rumbling sound behind it followed by the panicked screams of the mountain gnolls that it had been worried about chasing after it.
Roar?
Because of this, even though it was in a heavily injured state, the mountain dwelling troll could not stop itself from turning around to see what was happening... And in the end, it was shocked by what it saw.
The mountain path itself was a narrow passage with tall walls made up of rock standing over 10 ters tall on either side that beca lower the further away from the valley on the other side of the mountain path... And looking back at where the mountain gnolls were and where the rocky walls were still close to ten ters tall, the mountain dwelling troll saw these tall walls made up of hard rocks collapsing directly on top of these mountain gnolls. Crushing any mountain gnoll too slow to retreat to death.
More importantly than that, the mountain dwelling troll clearly noticed that the path behind it was also being blocked off by the continuous pile up of rocks caused by the walls collapsing in on the narrow mountain path.
Rumble~!
Unfortunately, if this was the end, the mountain dwelling troll would just have been overjoyed over what had happened and think itself lucky, but the rocky walls collapsing seed to cause so kind of chain reaction, as the entire passage that the mountain path ran through began collapsing.
Roar!?
At this point in ti the mountain dwelling troll didn’t have to run from the mountain gnoll general or the rest of the mountain gnolls, but instead had to outrun the collapsing passage before it found itself crushed beneath the large rocks. Especially so given that the strong recovery ability couldn’t help much if his head was crushed under a large rock...
Whoosh-!
So, with that in mind, the mountain dwelling troll that had co to a stop for a brief mont quickly began using all of its strength to try and escape the falling rocks once again.
Rumble-!
After spending a painful five minutes like this, with rocks falling on top of it every now and then, the mountain dwelling troll finally managed to make it outside the collapsing passage before collapsing on the ground filled with exhaustion.
I-I made it!
As these few primitive thoughts appeared in the head of the mountain dwelling troll after having escaped the deadly situation, it closed its eyes for a brief mont to recover so of its strength. Not noticing the small dragon that had already arrived beside it the mont it had collapsed on the ground.
Ptsh-!
And so, without knowing about its own death, the mountain dwelling troll embraced the darkness thought to have co from exhaustion, as it slowly drifted away into an eternal slumber.
