Although it didn’t kill it, the water ball was far more powerful than it had been the first ti Scaly used it, as its strength had increased together with her strength increasing.

In the end, it managed to directly tear off one of the spider’s legs, causing it to montarily lose its balance.

Not one to miss such an opportunity, Scaly used this to her advantage to dodge the attack of the spider before rapidly retreating once again before the spider had any ti to launch another attack.
This damnable spider! I won’t let you get close enough this ti around!
Having learnt from her mistake the first ti around, Scaly didn’t waste any ti after making so distance between herself and the spider-

Directly conjuring a massive water spear around the sa size as herself before launching it towards the spider that was still in a slightly dazed state after suddenly losing one of its legs and seeing its target disappearing in front of it once again.

By the ti that the spider realized that the water spear was flying towards it, it was already far too late for it, as it was directly skewered by the massive water spear of Scaly!

Winning the fight against the cave harvestman was a massive boost to Scaly’s confidence, as the cave harvestman was among the stronger monsters present inside the cave.
Now that she knew that she could kill off the cave harvestman, the only monsters inside the cave that made Scaly feel so degree of fear was the venom cave spider queen and the cave alligator.
Outside of those two, Scaly had not really seen any monsters inside the cave that were that much stronger than the cave harvestman she had just defeated... With this in mind, Scaly understood that she had free reign to hunt inside the cave that did not involve those two!
No longer would she be limited to hunting salamanders and salamander eaters! Now, she would be able to hunt the stronger monster!

Just at this ti, the water spear disappeared as the dead body of the large cave harvestman fell to the ground.
