Flopping down on the ground without the slightest care in the world after filling up her stomach, Scaly glanced around to see if any monsters nearby were close to her and after making sure that all the surrounding monsters had indeed escaped after realizing how powerful she was, she decided to go through her status for the first ti since waking up following her successful fifth evolution.
Feeling like now was the perfect ti as it would be difficult for her to hunt down any monsters in her current state, her stomach having beco quite the obstacle, as she had ended up eating far more than she could handle by accident...

Looking at her new status the first change she noticed imdiately was her terrifyingly high magic power after her fifth evolution. Having gone up by over a thousand. Making the terrifying power of her water magic understandable, as even her mana heart seed to have beco stronger with the rapid increase in magic following her fifth evolution.
Not just that but her vitality had also experienced a significant increase following her evolution, while her dexterity and strength had been left in the dust. Although... Her dexterity did manage to breakthrough a thousand and should have given birth to the new agility skill.
Comparing her status with what she had before her fifth evolution, her strength had increased by 90, while her dexterity had increased 120, 30 more than her strength which should have only been influenced by her increase in level following her evolution and the increased purity of her dragon bloodline going from the simple common status to the uncommon status. Increasing by 10% following her successful evolution. Increasing all her stats by 50 in the process.
aning that the 30 extra points should have co from either her evolution or an increase in dexterity every level up.
Curious about just this, Scaly’s attention shifted away from her status and instead focused on the increase per level after becoming a dreamscale dragon...

And unsurprisingly, it was entirely focused on her magic. Doubling the increase in magic per level, but at the sa ti also not increasing any of her other stats. Leaving her with a total increase of 80 points per level up from 60 points before her fifth evolution.
Although not a large increase, it would accelerate her magic growth trendously all the way up to her next evolution. Not to ntion, she was fully aware that she might be able to find so other way to increase these numbers.
Next up was the area where she had seen the largest increase in strength following her fifth evolution, her magic and vitality.
In total, her magic had increased by a terrifying 1210 following her fifth evolution and her recent increase in level, while her vitality had similarly surged following her evolution. Increasing by 630.
Going through everything, she concluded that the total increase in power from her evolution alone was 1000 magic, 500 vitality and 30 dexterity, sothing she felt more than satisfied with even if she was a bit disappointed at how low her strength was for dragon. The only thing that made up for it was the fact that her strength could still be considered decent among similar level monsters like the magic earth cow lord.
In a way, her vitality and magic, was abnormal for her level, sothing she felt was fitting for a dragon like herself. Not to ntion, she was more than happy to be a dragon specialized in magic, as it allowed her to attack from afar and not have to worry about her prey escaping easily.
Her thoughts settling after going through the total increase in strength she had experienced when it ca to raw strength alone, Scaly turned her attention towards the remaining bits of changes in her status, the new magic and skill that she had not yet explored...
[Agility, lvl 1]: Light as a feather, you have freed yourself from one of the chains anchoring you to the ground. Increase speed by 10%. Increase lifespan by 10 years.
A speed boost...?
That was her first thought upon seeing the skill she should have gained after her dexterity broke through a thousand.
To say she was disappointed would be an understatent, as she had been expecting far more from a skill that was on the sa level as the endless vitality skill that directly increased one’s lifespan by a hundred years.
But then again... To soone like her, this kind of skill might be more useful, as it aided her directly in combat compared to the endless vitality skill that only increased her lifespan.
Not to ntion, it did still increase her lifespan, even if it was far less than the endless vitality skill...
Shaking her head a bit as she thought about the disappointnt of short-lived creatures like humans upon getting this kind of skill. Thinking that their lifespan would increase by another hundred years like the endless vitality skill had done, Scaly could not help wondering how they would feel.
For them, the loss of 90 years of lifespan for a 10% increase in speed was definitely not worth it.
Smiling as she thought about those humans who had been chasing her in the past experiencing that kind of despair and helplessness upon getting that kind of skill, Scaly soon enough focused her attention on the second thing she had gained following her fifth evolution or more precisely, the only thing she had gained following her evolution, as the agility skill should have co directly following her recent level up to 5. Not after her fifth evolution.
The ability in question being the new branch of magic, dream magic.
Although she understood that this new magic should be related to her evolution into a dreamscale dragon, she had no idea what it was for outside of it being related to dreams in so way and the dreamscape that had been ntioned in the description of the evolution.
Speaking of the dreamscape, she was incredibly curious about this seemingly alternate world that she sohow had the ability to travel into according to the description she had read of her current evolution back then.
For this reason, Scaly soon focused her entire attention towards the dream magic located next to her lightning magic on her status.

Unsurprisingly, the description of her dream magic was no less amazing than the description of her other magic. Providing no explanation nor any guidance for how to use it.
Entering the dreamscape that she had only recently learnt about before undergoing her fifth evolution?
She would almost certainly have to find a way to enter on her own without any guidance similar to how she had developed her spells for her other magic.
The problem was, she had no idea how to even begin creating an ability that would take her into the dreamscape and leave behind the material plane that she apparently found herself in from what little she could gather.
Should she try and jump around channeling her magic daydreaming about entering the dreamscape? Would that work?
Or maybe because it was dream related, she had to enter the dreamscape while sleeping instead of when awake. aning she might have to find so way to use magic while sleeping, sothing that she was not looking forward to in the slightest given how difficult it seed to get herself to use magic while she was asleep.
Not to ntion, she had no idea if this would even work in the first place...
How troubleso... it looks like I might have to take a small break from hunting monster to try and figure out how this dream magic works. After all, according to the description of a dreamscale dragon, the ability to enter the dreamscape should be the strongest ability of a dreamscale dragon. Allowing it to easily avoid danger.
Narrowing both her eyes as she thought about how useful this kind of ability would be in battle if she could just jump into the dreamscape to avoid damage, Scaly could not help feeling herself becoming increasingly excited at the prospect of learning this kind of ability.
After all, with the ability to easily avoid damage by entering the dreamscape, she would have the confidence to challenge a powerful monster like the baby kraken that she had originally not felt entirely confident in facing off against even after completing her fifth evolution.
Oh... And before she forgets, her dragon water magic also seed to have increased from level 6 to level 7 due to her recent massacre of the magic earth cows...
