Reincarnated as an Energy with a System Chapter 1795: Coronation

Many people from all 8 regions of the empire arrived at the capital to watch ’Princess’ Shara beco the Empress. Her fa was higher than ever at this point, so there were many that looked favorably upon this decision.

The coronation was supposed to be a small event, in consideration for what the rest of the empire was going through. And still, it ended up becoming bigger than anyone could have expected.

The greatest seamstress, the greatest hairdresser, the greatest makeup artist—anyone with great fa in any departnt was called over to aid Shara in preparation for the coronation.

A feast was established as well for everyone to co enjoy. The palace was full of people in the morning, covering every patch of land. There was no room to even walk.

The stage for the coronation was prepared inside of a separate space. Everyone remained outside of the space, with only the most important people allowed inside. The military veterans, old council mbers, and people who were famous throughout the empire were allowed inside the space.

The coronation soon began with Shara walking onto the stage in a bright crimson dress that made her appear far more authoritative than she ever had. She bore the aura of an Empress as she stood before the Onyx throne.

The single slab of impossibly heavy black throne was brought out for this occasion.

Shara stood for all to see her, and waited as soone went through the traditional rites required for the passing of the throne. A crown had been prepared for Shara and was placed on a soft pillow up front.

Ning watched everything from the side. He was a little bored by the event itself, but he was quite excited to see Shara beco the Empress. There was so small introduction by the bishop during the coronation, who introduced Shara’s upcoming to everyone.

Her history and her actions were now known by everyone. They had heard of it before, but hearing about it again made everyone understand just who their new Empress was.

The bishop went through a few more words, speaking on the history of the empire and how it had co to be, and what it ant to be the next Empress.

Once everything was said, he placed the crown on Shara’s head.

As soon as the crown was placed on her head, she beca the Empress of these people.

And at the sa ti, Ning heard a notification from his current system.

Ning had no words whatsoever. He had done all that work, for just 300 points.

’And I couldn’t refuse either,’ he thought. He looked back at Shara, and saw her look at him for a second. He smiled toward her.

She had wanted this. Ever since she found out she had a claim to the throne, she had wanted to take it,not so she could sit on it, but so she could take it away from the others who wished to abuse it.

And at the sa ti, if she could do good by sitting on the throne, then she absolutely would.

She tried her best to not show any emotion, but a faint smile did escape her lips. It was hard to not show it when she was this happy.

Once the bishop stepped aside, Shara walked forward and began speaking to the masses. She was nervous, but she managed to hide from everyone.

"I have beco your Empress," she said. "And with that cos the end of the Golden Republic. However, it shall end mostly in na, and not in what it stands for."

"The new Empire shall be born anew from its ashes, carrying with it the will of the Republic. And as such, I shall declare the na of this new empire."

"Henceforth, we shall be known as the Golden Empire."

Her words were a surprise for everyone except a select few people she had discussed them with.

Everyone else had believed that with Shara’s ascendancy to the throne, she would return the nation to what it was before, and make it the Onyx Empire. However, she had instead done sothing they had not thought of before.

She had kept their na, and in doing so had made them proud to be what they were.

The feast began soon after and the news of Shara’s coronation spread throughout the empire like a flash flood. By less than a day, everyone knew what had transpired in the capital, and thus everyone knew what their new Empire was called.

The Golden Empire.

That afternoon, once she was done with the coronation, Shara made another decision, but not one that needed to be shared with the empire.

They still had hostages from the other kingdoms, kept after the prince and the other candidates had died, all so they could keep the other kingdoms from attacking them.

They had never planned to keep the hostages for long, only until Shara had solidified her spot as the Empress. So, now that she had beco one, she decided to let them go.

The hostages were brought out of their holding cells and taken away to be sent back to their kingdom. Romus took charge of the job, taking his undead army with him.

Once night fell, Ning, Shara, Matthew, and Mari gathered in a room to decide what they had to do next.

"I have beco the Empress all thanks to you all," Shara said. "But I will still need all of your help. Will you continue to help ?"

"Of course, Your Majesty," Matthew said imdiately, his fist to his chest as he bowed before her.

Mari gave a light smile. "Always," she said.

Shara turned to Ning.

Ning patted her head. "We’re here for you. Just tell us what you want of us and we’ll help you with it."

Shara felt warm in her chest and smiled. "So, here’s what I was planning to do with you all."
