Dragging the heavy body of the Leopardkin back into the cave, I glanced over at Aethisia and snorted as I asked "You’re not terribly bright, are you?", earning myself a half glare from her as she carried her ’prize’ back as well.
The hole in her side was cauterized and bound, stabilizing her for now and keeping the pain there for when she woke up, since the last thing I wanted was to deal with the speedster trying to stab us the instant she regained consciousness.
Whether she would or not was a large mystery to since I had no idea what she was like - that was all in Aethisia’s conflicted head right now - but I was certain that the Leopardkin I had bested would be more than worth the effort that had gone into subdued her.
The mont we entered the caves I felt so many eyes on , and although I was very accustod to it by this point I never would be completely comfortable with the various emotions that were now laid on my shoulders.
The confusion, hope, fear and so relief that began to build when they noticed that I wasn’t one of their captors was heavy, and although I should feel happy as well I just always felt trepidation that sothing else would happen.
A looming, usually unrealized fear that there was sothing I missed or sothing was going to happen after this always hovered just over my head, but for now it was useless and only hindered so I pushed that away and instead focused on what I was doing.

After that I helped Aethisia with her captive before I began to walk over towards the various cages, picking the one in the middle with the least amount of people and asking "Are you the important ones?"

"I’m in charge of the logistics of this place. Supplies in and out, money, food, anything that keeps this place running goes through ."
