Getting the final plank of wood nailed into the frawork of what would be the first building that would beco our port, I took a step back and admired our hard work for a few monts before grinning at Sari as she imdiately joined , her arm finding its natural spot around my waist.

I sighed as I looked up from my reports and ledgers, finding my companion standing above after there being nothing in this tent besides , my papers and my goods for the last few hours.
"Must you constantly sneak around?"
"Sorry Boss, it’s just natural to now. Anyways, what’re we gonna do now that those stuffy pricks from the Susahana are coming down here? That makes things complicated doesn’t it?"

My companion just clicked her tongue and flopped down quietly into the chair opposite , unsheathing a dagger and using it to clean her nails as she thought rather ’loudly’ for a few monts.
I waited for her to speak first, returning my gaze to the ledgers and swiftly tallying up so more numbers that helped fill with an enjoyable amount of greedy happiness; seeing these numbers go up constantly always made feel good, especially when I was participating in a prolonged mission with so... interesting company.

She grinned and didn’t bother trying to ’defend’ herself since she and I both knew that was entirely what she found fun about the Dullahan, and to an extent I had to agree that the woman was ’fun’ because of that...

Swinging her dagger around before flipping it, my companion continued to be as incapable of remaining still as always, though her mind was as sharp as ever as she said "The Duchess’ and the Queen are going to want Astra to help make things ’smooth’ between both sides. Maybe we make a move now to get closer to her?"
I licked my lips and gave her a grin as I replied "It’s ti to get close to her, yes...", my own sharp mind getting dulled as I imagined being pressed against that impossibly perfect woman so soon...
