Standing before the blackboard in the classroom of Combat Departnt Class-1-1, I led the chorus to celebration. The others followed my gestures, hoisting their stein as I do, echoing a big 'cheers' shout.
Though, to be noted, the celebration glass just shared the sa design as stein in the «Dungeon Activity». Inside, it holds your typical juice. Students were underaged after all.

Phew, that was delicious!! Or maybe it was the taste of victory, haha!
So, as the clue might have given the answer already, yes, we were having a celebration party in the classroom. Hmm, why the party when it was just the first battle? But that's the neat part, everything joyous is worth celebration!
This was where I drew the line. A party over victory was a must. No objection. Else there would be the wrath of their leader they'll be facing next!
Alright, half of it was a joke. Backtracking the beginning, it happened that the academy had included a good amount of juice and snacks in the reward for being the first-ranker. So what else could be done? A hint was enough for a wise man, eh.
I gotta say, the other side of the academy was quite smart.
Well, a big reason things ca to this juncture was influenced by the disappearance of juice and snacks from the marketplace during the Inter-class battles. I an, we're talking about 20,000 students’ crowd tops. None of your marketplace would be able to keep the stock when that many concentrated populace made for a rush at once. Plus, it would be a pitiful situation for the class who's unable to get their hand on the stock.
With a consideration for such a situation, academy seemingly started adding juice and snacks in the reward, or so Sierra taught .
The party was a simple one, lacking any dishes. Though the juices and snacks were beyond plenty.
Everyone reached for the items of their liking. Ah, the chocolate fondue. I atleast wanted to try it once myself. Alright, this should be my main target next. Right now, it was the girl's turn, so I couldn't quite go there.
Hmm, what should I do?
As I pondered over my activity, the other's words reached my ears as the conversation kicked off among them. I listened to them while relishing over the situation.
"I heard you made for quite a performance, Lana. My heart almost halted for a mont when I learned our base was attacked by a greater force of 47 mbers!."
"Hmph, they would have to be far and beyond to be a threat to us! None could put as much as a scratch on our base till the end!"
"So do rest, they were spectacular, no? I am now glad we had that one-week long training. A strong shield really easen a lot of worry, allowing us a more active assault on others."
"Hmm—oh, right, Zephyr. I really want to join the assault squad, it can be for a short ti too!"
"Speaking of, I heard, too, Lana! You delivered the judgent strike to Class-58 huh! I say that was plenty of outing for your part tooo!"
Sheesh. She does get you in an odd spot soti, eh. I was sure she played more than a critical role in defence as well.
Also, Ester. How about you co and help against your princess's whimsicalness rather than giving a tepid look from behind? ...On another thought, maybe that was a bit too tall a task to ask from her, she probably wouldn't be able to muster much to Lana when she was a part of the assault squad.
Well, anyway, I continued to enjoy the party chatting with other classmates, praising them for their performance. Sotis suggesting where they need to correct themselves or how they could further improve themselves et cetera.
"Umm, Zephyr......"
"Oh, Saturn. Hard work."
It's just, amidst all the bubbling atmosphere, there was one gloomy presence. Saturn, one of the few deportees even from our Class-1.
Not to say much, but I had learned quite a deal about Saturn ever since the academy started. And concluding from this tone of voice... I’d say he’s on Shattered Pride 2.0.
While I considered his state, Saturn continued.
"I know the cause of my failure. I shouldn't have let myself get carried away."

After all, this much was clear to anyone. He was careless, for sure.
He forgot to see who his opponent was. He was a «Battle Monk.» The job's main weapon was gauntlets/gloves. It entails the opponent was a master of hyper-lee combat expert when at an arm length. And he just walked into his opponent's zone.

Saturn's expression contorted into a variety of shades when I affird his mistake directly. And eventually, he nodded. He sure was being honest now, huh.
"Now I have kicked away my chance. My future is lost at this rate."

In fact, we would have adopted this thod ourselves as long as it was just hard, but devoid of derit. It was like a fire that burns both ways; too powerful but cos at a cost thing.
"I don't care. I said it, I have no future as I stood. I promise to utter not a single word of complaint no matter the price I have to say, just tell !"
Err, well, now I feel like I was The Devil tricking an innocent person into selling his soul. Oh, wait, I was the Brave, right. I would just take it as he was hearing the gospel through my words, yeah.
Anyway, given his insistence, I think we could really use him. I hadn't even let Marie-senpai buy it, so it will sell well, I guess. Frankly, I think he would back out once he gets the full details. I wouldn't be surprised then, I an it was the kind of stuff that would have other question your sanity when you use it. But given his desperation, who could tell huh.
With that, I concluded my words with him for the day. Imdiately, Sierra, Lulu and Celia approached .
"Zephyr, we need to talk."
"Hey, what's up?"
"Lulu is going to be in the news!"

"Lulu has accepted an interview request."
I had inquired Sierra what it was about when Lulu excitedly jumped to explain. Though it didn't ring any bells for still, so as if she saw an imaginary question mark above my head, Celia further added. Still, nothing cleared up for .
But hey, that's where our guild's reliable sub-guildmaster turns co. I quietly glanced in Sierra direction.
"In short, a request for an interview has co around to us. Are we going to accept it? The end result will be featured in academy newspapers and news. The interview offer is extended to you, Her Highness Lana, Karua, Ester, Lulu and myself."
"Ohh~."
Oh wait, not the ti for oh, but woaahhh! It's the interview! I actually honestly didn't know that would be possible! That is why I dig into the «Dungeon Activity» of reality!
There was no such thing in the ga. I nodded, obviously. I wouldn't be missing out on the fun!

Now that was a surprise. I didn't expect it would happen imdiately. Oh wait, she did say it's material for academy newspapers and news, so I guess they must have wanted it quick to make it for tomorrow's publication. But overall, I was quite excited about it.
I continued to enjoy the party for one more hour when we were called in, so with that as a trigger, the party also reached its end gradually.
I felt a bit uncombusted due to the short duration. Oh well, we would have enough chances to celebrate as we cented our victory in more matches.
The semi-final was scheduled for Thursday, the fourth day in the inter-class battle. I was already looking forward to it.

While the party was concluded, the few of us turned to one of the eting rooms in the sa first year combat departnt building. The attendees were the aforentioned six of us.
On the way, Lulu gleefully chatted, her steps skipping.
"Wow, Lulu feels a bit nervous now!"

"Liar. Look at your face, that smile that’s looking forward to it."
Aha, Sierra easily sees through my theatrics. Though I was serious when I said it made my heart race. I an, it was the first-ti I was going to be interviewed!
Arriving outside of the eting room, Sierra knocked on the door.
"We're Class 1-1 of Combat Departnt."
"Yes, please enter~."
Imdiately, a clear, feminine voice instructed. The tone was an indication of the bright personality of the speaker.
"Excuse us."
As we entered, my eyes caught sight of three students; one of them was a boy. The other two were girls.
Of the three, a long, purple-haired girl stepped out to greet us. She was a beauty with great proportions, considerably tall, and her gestures exuded an air of elegance. There was red embroidery on her collar; a 3rd year student I see.
"I am really glad you accepted the offer. Hope the experience satisfy you."
Senpai extended her hand toward Sierra for a handshake. anwhile, my attention was taken away by the flying things above her. They appeared to be black, palm-sized, spherical things. There were nine of them.
I imdiately recognised them as caras.
"—The «Mobius Strip»!"
I had just uttered when I felt a glint shining in Senpai's eyes as she shared handshake with Sierra.
"The fa of Brave is well found indeed. It's really incredible how you can na it just by a glance. That said, I am sure only I can use them, and pretty sure I have never ntioned their na to anyone."
Following her words, Senpai's gaze, and the spherical cara, both focused on .

It was an exclusive equipnt for a certain job, and when combined with unique skill, the user can operate them much like the four shields of Sierra. Offering freeform movent wherever the user desires, it was an extrely strong and rare equipnt category item.
In the ga, it was said you could forget anything but you must have it, especially to completely outstrip an advanced dungeon completely.
I imdiately got the hint of her job, and imdiately, Senpai turned to introduce himself.
"Let introduce myself. I am Yumiki, a third year student of the Investigation departnt, affiliated to the news guild «Academy's Bird». And my job is—«Boundless Mobius».

It was an advanced job out there that allowed control of exclusive equipnt «Mobius Strip», with the standing high-low ranking in the category, it was unparalleled in reconnaissance.
T/N - Heya, everyone, how did your new year go? Personally, it was like everyday except the update of a ga made the day. Any guesses? ~~And I guess you guessed the reason behind the delay this week. I can’t wait to eat my words said a while ago.~~
But on the brighter side, the goal perford quite well at least. Though it didn’t hit the set milestone, not that it was unexpected, we would be updating two extra chapters next week. And it seems like Hannah’s side story get the fair number of votes so there we go~.
On the side note—not that it’s important, so you can skip it—my original idea was to check out the light novel volu of series and see if there is any sumr side stories, and *hopefully* the illustration of the remaining girl’s swimsuit but I couldn't find the ti and ans to get it. Welp, here goes my plan to put down sumr stories in the winter season—the oh-so classic staple of ani regardless of the ti. Let’s see this month then~.
