As a matter of fact, they also were two crown bearers in the job rankings! (Actually it's one if you ignore the unofficial one)

Anyway, the effects of their skill was simple—When the user doesn't have any shred of equipnt on his body, and at level 10, "the skill increases overall status by 3.6 tis."

Honestly, the stats value shot up to such an absurd level that it would force you to consider; could it be a bug?

For the preface, «Brawny Warrior» gained a total of 23 SUP at each level up. However this cos with a restriction that they must invest 10 SUP on HP and VIT each.

And no, there wasn't any option of "Or" so either was sothing they must invest in. At the end, they're left with 3 points to use freely. Appears quite an unbalance, ain't it?

Now, it makes sense why the equipnt or gears were out-of-options. The job would've truly been a broken one if they'd allowed it.

In front of a status like this, perhaps the derit was re nothing. And in that sense, it was absurdly strong.

With physical prowess of this level, no lee clash could ever be a challenge for them. Heck, with a VIT as absurdly high as 1800, they're the perfect at shield.

But hey, the praises aside, it's not sothing I would ever want to acquire though.

Anyway, as long as proper asures were taken against their weak point, we had a powerful force at our disposal.

Well, this was one of the perks of having an advanced job. As a matter of fact, the skill or magic to resist abnormal status weren't easy to co by within the basic job circle. Saintess had them, but they're rely applicable on oneself. Only a few jobs within them could have it, like «Sage».

"Then, I am beginning, «Machos»! —«Health Blessing»! —«Health Blesing»!"

"Whoo-rah!! I can feel a perpetual source of strength coursing through my muscles!!"

Hmm, is that how it feels? Either way, this should've overpower their weak point now.

Incidentally, Lana's buff and Machos's unique skill overlapped. In short, the unique of Machos raised their stats, not attack or magic defense. STR and attack were actually two different things. The damage was calculated on the respective status and the the strength of a skill to give a final value. So, the two different units brought an interesting overlapping effect, which only served to increase their lee ability!

And of course, by virtue of 's unique skill, they now had the continuous healing add-on too. This was honestly another boon. If I had to say, the HP of Machos was rather concerning even with unique skill, I an their current HP would further increase once they undress, but that wasn't enough. But now, they could even work off as tanks too!

Hmm? What was the undress part you ask? Of course, it was a grand strategy (?) to bring out the full potential of Machos.

Basically, I had them equipped with agility equipnt to slip past the patrol team of the fortress. Once they're in the range, they were allowed to take them off, and under the unique skill, it was bound to give them muscle buff—I don't even know what I'm saying at this point—and mow down the opponent.

"Listen well, «Machos»! Don't care about buffs! Don't care about damage! Just do what you're best at, Lana will make sure of the support."

"So it is, be grateful!"

The strategy was simple. Bring chaos between enemies' ranks with the vanguard unit, and had Lana unleash her long-range attack at an opening, and destroy the fortress.

Soon, the nearby students in the fortress caught the sign of six intruders and took their stance to intercept them.

While affirming the situation with the telescope, I had Lana act on our plan.

With the self-buff now casted, each spell of Lana would be now recognised as 'recovery' spell.

Without any needless chatter, Lana acted on my slew of instructions.

It might've been missed, but another great aspect about Lana's spells was the 'prayer' elent of her spells. So, like, instead of shooting/transmitting her spell at the target, the spell's effect would directly take place. This also ans applying buff was a matter of split second. Well, the distance trick was still handled by «White Throne».

Perched atop at the «White Throne», Lana offered her prayer to the talisman. And with the «The Saintess Prays For Healing» in effect, her activated spell transcends the boundary and promptly shows the effect. All hail ranged support!

Anyway, the fortress defenders were just ready to intercept the group, however the sudden speed up of the opponents threw their calculation off, and their attack instead found cutting through empty air.

anwhile, Machos—they were equipped with agility buff equipnt «rchant Fur Equipnt Set»—rapidly approached the fortress and once they're in victiny, stripped their equipnts.

At the sa ti, in the opponent side—

A boy was vigilantly keeping an eye on the situation around the 4th fortress when he suddenly perceived so reactions.

"Soone is coming! They're six!"

The boy imdiately scread at the top of his lungs, and rang the alarm bell, a predetermined signal to inform the approach of an enemy.

The boy had in fact noticed two shadows snooping around earlier. He couldn't see who they're, but they'd to be scouts, and were here to take details of the situation. Now that their preliminary scouting was done, this should be the beginning of their raid.

With the sound of the bell, a hectic atmosphere embraced the fortress as the students inside prepared themselves in vigilance.

Riyana of Class-5, she was the leader in-charge of this 4th fortress, climbed atop the fortress and quickly ascertained the incoming enemies with binoculars. The sight caused her to let out an astonished yelp, but in another aning.

"Uhh!? I wondered why such a small squad was coming at us, but they—I think they're from Machos!"

Initially, Riyana showed a lacksidal response when she heard they're re 6 students, however that laziness promptly vanished into poof as soon as she ascertained who they're.

Just a glance and she knew who they're going to face. Well, they're dressed in so barbarian tribe-esque fashion, but the glimpse of muscles underneath the equipnt was a clear sign they could only be from «Machos».

"Attention, everyone! It's «Machos»! They're coming for us! Hurry up and bring up the base reinforcing team too! We're going to intercept them with our whole caravan!"

Riyana shouted, bringing everyone's attention.

One of the girls flinched at the ntion of Machos, but it wasn't the ti to take it easy. The enemy was just around the corner.

"We're going to intercept them at the 3rd last square together! Get «Ballista» ready!"

"Yes, ma'am!"

«Ballista» was the long-range attack item that could be installed on the base used for defense. And since Ballista only did normal attacks, the damage dealt was independent from the square's boundary effect. The covering distance was 3 squares.

Riyana passed her command as soon as she confird opponents had stepped into the 3rd last square. The five Ballista made their shot in unison.
