"Isn't «ssiah» supposed to be a healer?"

With battle coming to an end, Sierra asked, tilting her head in confusion.

Well, it was just a doubt. Tabase-senpai's performance went beyond re healer, as I had asked her to. I needed her to give her best to evaluate after all.

I cleared her doubt.

"Obviously, it's a healer's job. However, it acts in a different vein than Lana. Alongside healing to allies, being able to support them with summon beast was its notable point."

There was nothing lacking about the healing prespective in «ssiah», and anyway, we only faced small fries, so we will soon see her abilities regarding that, too.

And the key point—summoned beasts weren't counted under 'Square's boundary limitation.' By utilising the «White Throne», ssiah job holders could control them from a distance, support their team, and, obviously, heal. This was the entire reason why ssiah was the second best option after Seraphic Saintess.

As an advanced job, ssiah could even acquire a ga-changing ability «Divine Descent», or «Possess» which could temporarily turn enemy monsters into allies. Overall, it refines itself as a brilliant support. That said, «Divine Descent» was a 6th order skill, so it was a secret for now. Though must I say, it was quite a formidable skill.

"Well then, what do you think of my performance, Zephyr-san?"

"It was wonderful, and it truly reflects your experience as a mber of the forr A-rank guild. Your decisions were pretty spot on, too."

Eager to learn my opinion, Senpai asked in a pretty straightforward manner, much like her. I paraphrased my thoughts, honestly expressing my impression. Really, I couldn't find any fault.

Though, as amazing as she was, the earlier battle was far from breaking her into sweat. Often in other gas, a healer was spectacular when they could save their party from the jaw of death. And such situations were commonplace in the boss fight, and that's where everything hinges on.

Anyway, this fight at least cleared Senpai's foundation and was not lacking anywhere. Next, I would like to see how she economises on her MP, as well as how she acts against repeated encounters. And once that was over, I would like to try out her adjustnt to different formations, like what if we use limited mbers, or continue without the involvent of a tank. Being a healer wasn’t an easy job!

And tens of minutes later, Tabase-senpai blazes through every situation with a record excellence.

"Phew, it's no wonder «Temple Saber» won through guild battles despite having you as the sole healer, Senpai. No, you're truly remarkable. I am thoroughly impressed."

The advanced job might have played a role, but much to my surprise, Senpai never switched to 4th order skills. She resolved every situation by sticking to 3rd order skills. She would never let the countdown of «Instant Death» fall beyond 10 seconds, kept a sharp eye on demand of recovery, and would imdiately follow up with Instant Healing if anyone incurred a certain amount of damage.

If there was even a shred of doubt left, then she had obliterated everything.

"So, does this qualify for «Eden»?"

"There's just one more objective to tackle, Senpai. It's the last one."

And soon, we had arrived at the safety area of the 40th floor—the space just before the boss room. Our next challenge was the boss. I was quietly expecting us to run into Wandering Boss, however that didn't happen. A bumr. Then again, we had basically blitzed our way through 39th floor, so chances were, we had already missed our chance. A common occurrence.

And that's why we were here. But, my true opinion? Tabase-senpai was such a gem that I could totally see ourselves cheesing it out. From the details I had co to know, she even had experience with a rare boss of an Interdiate-high dungeon. A boss from the Interdiate-mid dungeon would barely be an appetizer.

And that's where the «Flute» cos. I decided to call ourselves a rare boss!

"And that's why, we're going to challenge a rare boss!"

"What do you an 'that's why'? This explains nothing. ...Well, I have no objection to a rare boss, however. This party already has three advanced mbers."

Mhm, I sure expected this from Sierra. She had always co to support my decisions! (Not always!)

"I am fine, too."

"Likewise. I haven't co across the Interdiate-mid dungeon's boss, but I will make sure to give my best."

"Then again, with Zephyr's presence, I doubt this would end up anything but normal."

Tabase-senpai nodded assertively, unfazed even if the target was a rare boss. Aegis nodded in similar firm conviction, taking the spear and shield in her arms. Reglam drew his longsword, and murmured another nonsense.

"It's great to see everyone pepped up! Then, I am blowing it—*Whistle~*."

I an it. Wasn't it wonderful to see the whole team beating on the sa rhythm? I wasted no further mont, and blew the flute, earning a surprised expression from Senpai.

"Typically... wouldn't you carefully ponder if you really are ready to fight the rare boss, and then draw a strategy to make sure everything is within margin before you finally blow it? Do «Eden» operate on, like, riding on the flow?"

"That's just another day for our guild. If this might appear conflicting, it's fine to reconsider your decision."

"Ah, I do not an that way. It's just, I am quite surprised at the nonchalant tone of the «Eden». Even «Temple Saber» wouldn't co close to it. Once upon a ti, they, too, used to double check their decision before finally taking it big. Well, everything changed once the guild took down a rare boss from the Interdiate-high dungeon. Ever since then, caution was forgotten, and reward beca their sole purpose. They've only been on a losing streak for a while now."

Listening to the conversation taking place between Senpai and Sierra, it appeared «Temple Saber» had hit a jackpot from the gold chest of said rare boss—a piece of advanced equipnt, sothing which were only few in this world. That day was the beginning where their entire world began to revolve around treasure chests.

I had heard such stories to be surprised. In the ga, one could simply learn from trial and error thods, but there was no way to load the previous state in reality. Here, unknown was a perilous mystery. And such errors often also caused quite a headache for the «Rescue Committee» too.

It's fine if they’d wanted to challenge a rare boss, but all they did was keep losing. They were also as nonchalant as in using flute, but that was the thing. Rare bosses must be defeated to renew the spawn of regular bosses. If they weren't defeated, then it would cause other dungeon challengers to halt on their exploration.

As much of a golden egg laying hen «Rare Monster's Flute» was, a failure would only be a hindrance to others. With all these details underlying, the general consensus was to use the flute only, and only when one was assured of their victory. After all, the flute also cost a fortune.

But, «Temple Saber» committed the folly of ignoring the basics, and in their greed, they blindly pursued use of flute. I wouldn't lie, their story did make my heart leap, but I would be fine. I an, when have any rare boss won over us! Wasn't I correct, Sierra? So, would you please stop giving that gaze?

"Anyway, it's ti to hunt a rare boss! Our target is «Wicked Bulb - Tu-tu-tulip». It's commonly referred to as «Tri-Ne» because of repeated 'Tu.' Appearance wise, it looks like a giant, evil tulip, and can easily be a tanky boss. It also can transform at phase changes, like turning into a monstrous plant, which is, err... anyway, we're going to fight an evil flower."

"A straightforward pitch after a failed attempt of trying to co up with exaggregated response huh."

"Ahem. We're talking about a rare boss after all. It has quite a few astonishing abilities, like a root attack capable of inflicting random debuff, or single-target «Instant Death». It's a boss that tests a healer's prowess. Of course, if the situation seems too preoccupied, I would be stepping in to help."

"Fufu. Then I will make sure that my performance never drops to that point."

"Heh, it's not a pressing situation, so you can take it easy. Then, I will explain the attack patterns—"

It was important that everyone knew what kind of rare boss they're dealing with. Of course, it's possible our first attempt might not end in spawning it, but I would like to believe flute would work in the first attempt, and made sure to explain every bit about the rare boss.

Then, we passed through the door, and—the boss wasn't there. Instead, the back of the boss room was illuminating in the special effect of rare boss spawning.
