Stableman Zhang, responsible for managing the horses, explained:
“That is the Marquis’s mount, nad Zhui Feng. The Marquis treasures this horse so much, he rarely rides it when he goes out.”

Su Yan suddenly rembered her own old horse and asked, “What about my old horse?”
Stableman Zhang hesitated, then mumbled, “It’s in another stable.”

Seeing her old horse, Su Yan finally understood why his expression was so peculiar.
Her old horse was kept in a small and slly stable, and what’s more, the roof was broken; whenever it rained, the inside would be entirely soaked.
Seeing her, the old horse neighed with excitent, its large, glistening eyes blinked, and incredibly, there was a layer of mist in them.
Su Yan felt sowhat sad; though she had only ridden it once, it seed to really like her.
And she, after leaving it with the coachman, had never inquired about it again.
If it hadn’t been for Chu Yuxiao asking her to co and wash the horses, she probably wouldn’t have known if the old horse had died.
Su Yan walked forward and touched the horse’s mane, sadly saying,
“You must be having a hard ti here, right? It’s all my fault; I didn’t take good care of you.”
The old horse neighed again, as if to say it had never blad her and told her not to be sad.
Su Yan turned to Stableman Zhang and said,
“Change my horse to a different stable, now, imdiately!”
Stableman Zhang replied awkwardly, “Madam, all the stables are currently occupied; there’s nowhere left to switch to.”
“Then move Chu Yuxiao’s horse here, and let my horse move into that stable.”
Su Yan’s hand pointed to the best and most comfortable stable.
Stableman Zhang was startled; if he moved the Marquis’s horse here, he wouldn’t live to see tomorrow’s sun.
“What, you don’t dare? If you’re too scared to do it, then I’ll do it!”
Su Yan pretended to roll up her sleeves, ready to go pull Zhui Feng over herself.
Stableman Zhang imdiately stopped her, smiling obsequiously,
“Madam, please don’t be rash. This servant will find you a good stable right away, how about that?”
