Chapter 256: Chapter 257: Had a Nightmare
“Shen Wu, what’s wrong with you?” she asked out loud.
Shen Wu stiffly turned his neck to look at her, swallowed hard, and forced a strained smile, “It’s nothing, just had a nightmare…”
“Ah?” Su Yan was sowhat surprised.
A nightmare had frightened him to this extent?
Wasn’t he fearless and daring, even going as far as ghost hunting and demon hunting? How could he be afraid of having a nightmare?
Seeing Shen Wu lie back down to sleep without saying another word, Su Yan felt it would be impolite to ask further.
Mo Chen had been sleeping against the tree trunk the whole ti, showing no signs of waking up, as if he had never heard Shen Wu’s scream at all.
Su Yan frowned in puzzlent and sat back in the carriage to continue her liaison with Zhou Gong.
Finally falling asleep, just as Su Yan was deeply asleep, she heard another scream.
Lifting the curtain, she saw Shen Wu looking as frightened as before, thinking to herself, could he have had another nightmare?
Sure enough, Shen Wu grimaced at her with an even uglier smile, “A nightmare, still a nightmare…”
Su Yan knitted her brows and asked, “Shen Wu, you haven’t been cursed, have you?”
How could soone have nightmares like this twice in one night?
And they seed pretty terrifying…
Shen Wu dropped his smile and said seriously, “You’re the one who’s cursed.”
He snorted coldly, lay back down, but dared not close his eyes again.
Su Yan gave him a baffled look, dropped the curtain, and went back to sleep.
If he scread again later, she decided she wouldn’t bother with him…
However, that night, Shen Wu did not scream again, for he did not sleep at all…
The next day, Su Yan woke up feeling refreshed and involuntarily blurted out upon seeing Shen Wu’s two large dark circles, “Shen Wu, did you not sleep last night?”
Could it be that he had been so scared by his nightmares that he didn’t dare to sleep?
Shen Wu glared at her and said nothing.
Mo Chen walked past them with a smile, emanating an air of an immortal.
Sitting in the carriage, they continued on their journey.
Only then did Su Yan ask a question, “Master Mo Chen, where are we going?”
She was sowhat at a loss with herself.
She had followed them for a day and only now thought to ask where they were heading?
