“Yan’er…” Chu Yuxiao looked at her, his voice growing hoarse, “Did you get enough sleep during the day?”
Su Yan knew exactly what he was hinting at the mont she heard his words.
“No, I’m still very sleepy, don’t touch , or I won’t let it go,” she wriggled out of his embrace and turned away to lie down with her back facing him.
He hadn’t slept for a whole day and night; he wasn’t worried about his own body, but she was.
Chu Yuxiao watched her figure from behind, his hand itching to reach out and pull her back.
After several attempts, he gave up.
Forget it, he had tired her enough yesterday, he might as well let her rest another night.
But she was lying right beside him, and the faint fragrance emanating from her kept him awake!

At last, when they reached the town, Su Yan didn’t want to continue traveling and requested a two-day rest.

During these days, they traveled intermittently; though they did not deliberately slow down, it was leisurely, enjoying the scenery along the way.
Chu Yuxiao drove the carriage, while Su Yan sat beside him chatting or singing to him.
The journey brought them closer together, harmoniously aligning their spirits and hearts.
