After coming out of the pavilion, two hours had already passed.

“The day after tomorrow is my mother’s death anniversary; we will exhu her body and move it to the Chu family graveyard to be buried with my father.
We will stay here for the next two days. Don’t wander around; just stay put.”
“What about the murderer? What if the murderer kills again in these two days?” Su Yan hurriedly asked.
To stay here for two days, the outside world had turned upside down.
“You don’t need to interfere with this matter anymore; I have my arrangents.”
“Don’t you shield the murderer!” Su Yan didn’t forget to warn.
Chu Yuxiao scoffed and walked away without turning his head.

In the ancestral hall, husbands and wives must not stay in the sa room.
Thus, Su Yan was arranged to stay to the left of Aunt Lan, while Chu Yuxiao stayed to the right of Aunt Lan.

In the evening, Su Yan was invited to dine with Aunt Lan, while Chu Yuxiao had business to attend to and went out.
“Princess, we can only eat vegetarian food in the ancestral hall, so please make do for now. I hope you forgive any shortcomings,” Aunt Lan said apologetically, with a smile.
She was dressed in plain white clothing, her hair simply tied up, and had applied so rouge.
Her complexion looked a lot better than during the day.
Su Yan smiled nonchalantly, “Aunt Lan, you needn’t be so polite. Eating vegetarian food occasionally is good for the health. Besides, these dishes look delicious. How could I mind?”
