All of sudden, Lingerie lost a large number of her strongest masters while she pinned herself on the spot. The Thorny Flower formation was a strong defensive one without doubt, but like any strong defensive group formation, once activated, their movent was sealed!
If they moved to help, they'd break the formation, instigating strong backlash that none of these masters would want to experience.
In a single move, William didn't just kill lots of strong masters, but he also foiled her plans. Now the far away masters had to stop advancing, arrange their lines, forming groups, which wasted more ti.
If they hurried like they were doing right now, then they'd all fall into William's deadly trap. So they had to delay their arrival to safely secure themselves.
At the sa ti, William managed to buy himself enough ti, both for him and other high end masters on his side.
To group themselves, Lingerie top masters had to spend roughly half an hour to do so. If they were just chasing William, then this wasn't going to pose any problem. But they got tons of masters coming in their direction, led by Fang and Sloth!
Half an hour was far too much for them, and they knew they had to face these strong enemies before they'd manage to group together. As they realised this, they fell into a dilemma, one that made them take longer to group as they had different opinions about this situation and what was best to do about it.
"Keep them busy," William sent this ssage to Fang and Sloth using his spirit sense, before turning to fully focus on his main enemy, "shall we put an end to all this now?"
His words ant one thing; he wanted to kill Lingerie. Yet the latter t his challenging gaze with another, while knowing even without most of the strong masters on her side, the defensive formation she had was impregnable by William.
The formation was strong against a single opponent, but William never planned to attack it himself. From the mont he recognised the formation, he knew Lingerie was done for!
William left the high end masters on Lingerie's side to his masters, then turned around and started dashing towards Lingerie. He could have stayed back and killed more of his enemies, but that would have endangered his masters as well. After all, the main killing machine was the Chiras, and he had no control over these.
So, once his masters surrounded their enemies, William left this battle to them and moved to handle the head of the snake. Seeing him approaching in fast dashes made Lingerie squeeze her fists in anger. She knew she was pinned in her spot, lost most of her strongest masters, and there was no way to turn this dire situation now.
"If I knew all this, I'd have instead brought a bigger army," she muttered to herself, while knowing there was no benefit in regret, "I want you to stop him and the chiras at any cost… Buy half an hour…"
The only way to turn this situation around was the only goal she had from the start. Fixing the portal would help her army on the other side to co over in large numbers, shifting the tide at once.
She knew if she didn't do that, then only a small number of masters would cross over. She already hard the portal since she ca here with huge numbers. She thought bringing such numbers over alongside her best guards would be enough to take control over the situation and fix the portal.
But she now realised how foolish she was to think so!
What was going to happen was clear to her. The defensive formation might take a few minutes from all these chiras to bring it down, but the end result was inevitable.
Accepting such a result made her set her gaze upon what she needed to do from the very beginning. Even if she had to put all of her elite guards to risk, she had to. Or else she'd end up losing her life without putting up any resistance at all!
"Get ready to get crushed," once William got closer, he shouted in excitent. He knew she got no way out of here, and he knew her defensive formation was dood to go down.
He was the one leading the chiras over. After attacking her high-end masters, he lost a couple chiras and a few more got many wounds. And yet he knew this was enough to bring the formation and the enemies lying behind it down.
*Boom!*
The mont he got over the formation, he landed a few hits over it, and then dashed over, crossing it in a big jump. The formation was like a do above Lingerie and her guards, covering an area of one hundred tre radius.
The mont he crossed over it, the chiras landed a hard hit over the formation. It wasn't enough to crush it, but the surface of the formation showed glaring signs of getting shattered.
Cracks appeared fast before getting fixed in a minute or so. Yet William didn't intend to leave the formation intact, jumped again across it, while bringing a second wave of devastating attacks over it.
The chiras were like loose hounds. They fixed over William, tried to kill that annoying young human with no avail. They were intelligent to see that their attacks were hitting other masters, not William. But as monsters never cared for humans, the chiras batted an eye over this and kept attacking William with everything they got.
"Now!"
*Boom!"
After dozens hits from Chiras, Lingerie knew the formation was going to crash. Just as she shouted, a loud bang occurred, and a fierce gale of wind erupted, sweeping away the chiras as the formation shattered.
Just as she planned, the mont the formation got down, she dashed away, leaving behind her guards to deal with William and Chiras.
"Where are you going?" Yet just as she dashed for a few hundred tres, she heard the most detestable voice ever: William's! "I didn't recall letting you go away like that!"
