The range of these attacks spread all over the place. It looked as if they wanted to block all possible routes of evasion for Sloth, and that was bad news without doubt!
Sloth wasn’t prepared for such a move. He already pushed himself to the limit to evade the first few waves of these deadly hits. But seeing more attacks coming made his face drop.
"I need to do sothing..." he paused, looking behind to see sothing new happening behind him, "I need to act fast!"
What he saw was the masters behind cleared the way for the Chiras. The masters were trying before to stop him at any cost, even many tried to sacrifice themselves to buy ti for others to kill Sloth. Yet none of their efforts succeeded thanks to the brutality of the Chiras.
This ti things were different. Timing up with the incoming wide-spread attacks of their side, the rear started to stop jumping at Sloth, leaving his back without any pressure.
This wasn’t totally true, as if the Chiras lost their prey, they’d instantly turn towards Sloth. The latter was well aware of such a sche, and realised the entire gaplay changed for the worse.
"More treasures then," the only thing he could do in such a situation was using more treasures. He stopped burning such expensive gadgets since Fang stepped up to help him. And now he had to return to such a way to survive this.
Flashes of bright lights appeared all over him, while he tried to push himself. Unlike what the enemy thought and planned, Sloth was cunning and didn’t move straightforward like he was supposed to!
Instead, Sloth started to aim at the large gatherings of the enemy masters close by. As the masters retreated from his rear, there were many spots where the enemy masters were grouped together, patiently waiting for Sloth to fall.
The sudden move of Sloth ca to flip the table and turn everything into his favour once more! The mont he jumped over the closest densely packed hostile masters, and the Chiras followed suit!
"Have fun with them," Sloth laughed while moving away, changing his path, this ti heading straightforward again. This move bought him a couple of minutes, before the sa situation repeated itself once more.
The reason ca mainly from the widespread attacks raining down regardless of their targets. The attacks ca to kill most of the enemy masters around the Chiras, even rivaling the killing speed of those monsters!
"You are resilient and relentless about this tactic," Sloth could tell this nightmare would last for a long ti. He knew it might seem absurd, but this tactic was the only possible way to stop his plan and moves.
"What would that kid do?" finding himself stuck in such a situation, he couldn’t help but think of William. He saw William execute such a tactic flawlessly, smoothly, as if he was walking in the park! Yet things didn’t happen in the sa fashion for him since the very beginning!
He couldn’t tell if that was thanks to his bad luck, or if William was doing this tactic in a different way. What he truly missed was that William was just more experienced than him regarding using this tactic.
It might seem easy from the surface, but it required sothing that Sloth was now experiencing and feeling how challenging and super hard it was, fast thinking, reflexes, and adaptation!
Sloth had only one way to deal with this imminent danger, by using his treasures to defend in deadly situations, while leading the Chiras towards the heavily gathered enemies.
Even if the enemy could see through his plans, they couldn’t stop him. Sloth was already in the heart of the main bulk army of the enemy. That gave little room to maneuver for his enemies, little space to move through.
After doing this for another half an hour, and as he exhausted almost half of his entire lifesaving of treasures, he finally realised sothing.
"Dammit kid! That’s why you used to move in zigzag paths!!" When Sloth imagined how he moved for the past hour in the heart of enemy forces, he jumped to such a conclusion in no ti!
He moved in a weird zigzag course, one that wasn’t clear at first, but started to look like a typical zigzag evasive move later on. "I’ll move intentionally in such a way and see if there is a difference," he muttered, before starting to put this idea into action.
His mind thought fast and analysed the situation, before jumping to this idea. Perhaps he wasn’t performing as well as William, facing all these troubles, as he wasn’t intentionally moving in such a way from the start!
And when he started to do it the right way, he started to feel less pressured as he hoped for!
He didn’t get why. He couldn’t see the value of the zigzag move. And yet, he couldn’t help but admit it, "it seems that kid never does anything without a good reason, even down to his moves... What an annoying talent!"
Sloth tried to squeeze his mind, tried to find any other fine detail he’d missed, yet he couldn’t. Even when he was watching closely how William fought for a long ti, he had the feeling he overlooked many small details.
"No ti for that," even if the pressure he felt was relieved by a good chunk, he was still facing lots of dangers. So, he tossed such useless thoughts aside and focused more on the enemies and attacks raining over him.
When the enemies saw how easily he started to evade their attacks, how nimble his moves beca, and how useless their tactics began to look like, they decided to add more fuel to the fire and throw more of their masters into the fray!
Despite knowing they’d mostly die, by their attacks or by the Chiras, they didn’t hesitate to do this. The target Sloth was aiming for was easily guessed by many enemy masters, and they knew they had to stop Sloth before reaching the encirclent zone.
