His cautious orders were being echoed simultaneously by Becky at her side. As for Anjie, Lara, and Ro, they had reached the sa conclusion. They halted their advance toward the gates and decided to return to the Scorching Lands town to consolidate their intelligence.

The eting hall in the Scorching Lands was thick with an air of disbelief.
"So it's a thing that happened at your spots as well?!" Berry exclaid, her eyes wide as she looked at the reports coming in from the northern and southern fronts. Seeing the others return with the sa news of silent gates was both a relief and a shock. "It has to be William's doing! He's actually done it!"

"I say we should prioritise our world first," Lina said suddenly.

"We all know that, Lina," Lara said, giving her a deep, searching look. She felt a flicker of irritation. Why would Lina refuse to go to William's side now, when he was most likely exhausted from the miracle he'd perford? "But he's alone there. We need to go and help him hold whatever ground he's taken."
"If he wanted our help right now, don't you think he would have co back through the gate and asked for it himself?" Lina interrupted, her tone sharpening. "He knows where we are. He knows we are ready.
If he hasn't called for us, it's because he is busy, or he wants us to handle things here. We will eventually go to him, but first, we need to take this rare mont of peace he has provided and help those in need. We need to organise our forces better while the rain has stopped."
Lina stepped toward the map, pointing to the red zones where millions had perished. She could feel the doubt and uncertainty in the eyes of her friends, so she pressed forward, pouring her conviction into her words.
"No one can tell for how long this situation will last," Lina argued. "It could be for a few more hours, a day, maybe a few days. But we all know this respite won't last forever. The enemy will react. We should prioritise using this rare window to go all over the world.
We must build more portals to places we couldn't link to before. We need to look for survivors in the ruins, mass-produce the spears on a wider scale, and share the extras with every independent clan.
We need to repair the damaged walls, fortify the defensive buildings, lay down massive formations, and produce oceans of potions and elixirs."
She paused, taking a breath. "We have tons of work to do. If we do this now, when the tide cos back—and it will co back—the entire world will be standing stronger.
We won't just be surviving; we'll be prepared to strike. It's exactly how William would do it. He didn't just want to save himself; he wanted to save the world. We all know it!"

Behind her stood several formidable masters, their gear bearing the black-silver dragon of the Blue Purgators. "Is he the sa William who is currently fighting in the other realm? Are you his force? The masters of the Fox Guild?!"
