Now reading: Chapter 1522: The Fox Grew Mad! from Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master, a Action novel by ranmaro.

The Fox had realised that William was the only one capable of dismantling the foundation of its power, a bigger risk to his sches than the entire Blue Purgators here.

"Listen up!" the leader suddenly roared, his voice amplified by his imnse cultivation. "Spread out! Form a grand net around the entire area where William is working! If you spot anyone you don't recognise—anyone suspicious at all—kill them without asking questions!"

He knew the Fox was a master of sches, using different bodies that didn't share the sa face. It would be incredibly difficult for his forces to distinguish a Fox clone from any spirit master.

He feared the damn Fox would try to sneak its clones into the middle of the Purgator ranks, masquerading as one of their own to reach William and disrupt the work to take over the world.

To make things easier for his masters, the leader pulled out a huge bag of rare, resonating ore. He began distributing the stones with the help of his trusted subordinates to everyone, which glowed with a soft, dark golden light.

This ore would react with a sharp pulse if another master holding the sa stone approached within a certain distance.

"If the ore doesn't react, they are an enemy!" the leader shouted. "The youngster is the key to our victory. Protect him with your lives!"

The battle for the dium World intensified as the scope of the Fox's influence beca terrifyingly clear. While the initial wave of clones had been manageable, the leader of the Purgators soon realised he had vastly underestimated the enemy's thods.

Over the course of the next twenty hours, his warriors were forced into a gruelling war of attrition, striking down thousands of duplicates.

Many of these entities were remarkably fragile, barely reaching the lower tiers of power, yet their sheer volu served as a testant to how deeply the Fox had rooted itself into the surrounding sub-worlds.

Throughout this onslaught, William remained deeply imrsed in his task, seemingly oblivious to the chaos surrounding him. He observed the arrival of Bernard and a massive reinforcent of Purgator's masters, but he didn't question the sudden surge in security.

He assud the leader was simply fulfilling his promise to shield the work process, allowing him to focus every ounce of his spiritual power and elents on the delicate work of taking over the world.

However, the Purgator leader was beginning to see the situation in a new light. Watching the Fox's increasingly desperate attempts to breach their periter, he realised that William's work wasn't just a defensive asure to save the Purgators from a trap. The youngster was doing sothing far more significant—sothing that threatened the very foundation of Fox's power.

"I wonder what you are actually doing," the leader whispered to himself as the last of a clone wave was killed successfully. "What is it that the two of you understand about this world that remains hidden from ?"

Despite his curiosity, the leader maintained his distance. He knew that the stakes were too high to risk a distraction; if William were to be interrupted or killed now, the consequences would likely be catastrophic for everyone involved.

Consequently, he ordered his forces to tighten their formation, maintaining a massive, impenetrable circle around William's spot, even as the pressure from the surrounding environnt began to shift disturbingly.

As the hours ticked by, the behaviour of the Scarlet Bears transitioned from predictable aggression to a frenzied, single-minded obsession. Initially, the beasts had engaged the Purgators head-on, but they soon began to ignore the masters entirely.

The bears threw themselves against the Purgators' lines, not to fight, but to bypass them, desperate to reach the centre of the zone they desperately protected.

The leader recognised the shadows of the Fox in this change of tactics; the enemy was no longer interested in a standard battle. It was a race against ti.

The situation grew even more dire as William neared the final stages of world domination. As he approached total control, the Fox's manoeuvres beca truly chaotic.

It wasn't just Scarlet Bears anymore; a nagerie of different monsters from various lower realm natural inhabitants began to manifest in staggering numbers.

The world was rapidly transforming into a concentrated version of the very disasters William had sought to prevent, an apocalypse truly in na and nature.

The sight of such overwhelming changes chilled the spirits of the Purgators masters. Though protected by their unique blue stones, the sheer scale of the monster tide was beginning to strain their endurance.

They were no longer just fighting for their own safety; they were acting as a living shield for a youngster who held the fate of thousands of worlds in his hands.

Recognising that their current strength might not be enough to hold the line much longer, Bernard navigated through the carnage to reach his leader. He didn't waste ti with formalities as the sounds of clashing steel and monstrous roars filled the air.

"May I suggest sothing?" Bernard asked, his expression grim. "We are strong, but the scale of this battle is escalating beyond our current capacity. If we continue at this rate, the pressure will eventually cause our fronts to collapse, and we cannot allow a single monster to reach William."

The leader looked at his subordinate, sensing that Bernard wasn't there to complain, but to offer a strategic alternative. He gestured for him to continue.

"William isn't alone in this fight," Bernard said, glancing toward the various gates that lined the horizon.

"He has already mobilised the elite of his Fox Guild—hundreds of thousands of masters currently working to stabilise the lower realms connected to here. If we pull even a fraction of those forces back here, we can turn this encirclent into a true fortress. We can stop the monsters from breaching through and reach him."

"You are asking to send the word to them and let them co back?" The leader's eyes shone with a fierce light, one that Bernard couldn't tell if it was appreciating his suggestion or feeling the pride of the Blue Purgators being hurt. Yet the next words cald down the disturbed heart of the young commander.
