After opening the doors and windows completely, the smoke in the room gradually dissipated.
Three people were either standing or sitting in the room, two n and one woman. Among the two n, one had a thin and gaunt figure, around 50 years old; he was Old Smoker. The other was relatively young, around eighteen or nineteen, but despite his age, his eyes looked seasoned as if he had gone through a lot.
As for the only female in the room, calling her sexy wouldn’t suffice. She wore a thin bralette on top and ultra-short denim shorts below, so short that they were barely over ten centiters, with two curved knives hanging from each side of her waist.
These three were the other mbers of the Ant King Hunting Team. If they were recognized by Netero, there was no need to worry about their strength; they were at least experts within the third tier.
"This is... not good."
The woman in the room locked eyes with Su Xiao. She seed to recognize who Su Xiao was, but with Netero present, she couldn’t say anything.
"These three are the new mbers of the Ant King Hunting Team. I have other matters to attend to and will be gone for about an hour. If everything goes smoothly, we will proceed to the East Guotuo Royal Capital in an hour. You four can get acquainted in the anti."
Netero turned and walked out of the room. He seed to leave intentionally, having lived for 110 years; he vaguely sensed sothing but chose not to disclose it.
As soon as Netero left, the female contractor slowly crouched down, her hands pressed on the hilts of the curved knives at her waist.
"Old Smoke, Chen, let introduce you. This is Night of Beheading, the rumored lunatic who loves chopping off heads."
The female contractor gradually backed away, her face full of vigilance.
"Long ti no see. Last ti we t, although we were of the sa tier, you were much stronger than . And now, you still give an unbeatable feeling."
Chen, who had been sitting inside the room, raised his head. On his originally handso face were three ugly scars, crisscrossing. He had left these scars on purpose as a constant reminder of how dangerous Paradise was and how naive he used to be.

"The leader... is dead, killed in a War World. But the Brotherhood hasn’t been wiped out; I’m still alive. A one-person adventure group is still an adventure group."

Su Xiao remained emotionally unmoved, having no deep ties with the Brotherhood; they had only transacted deals.
This contractor nad Chen had t Su Xiao once, back in the Giant World. Chen was a mber of the Brotherhood, different from other adventure groups; they valued friendships over interests. Chen was new to the Brotherhood back then. As a Five Elent Mage, he was sowhat arrogant and reserved, appearing mature but ntally still quite naive. However, he didn’t put on airs with other Brotherhood mbers and wasn’t arrogant.
Sothing must have happened because the dium-sized adventure group, the Brotherhood, was almost wiped out. Apart from Chen, there likely weren’t any other surviving mbers. Otherwise, given their cohesion, Chen wouldn’t have appeared alone.
"When the leader was alive, he ntioned that you were strong, so strong that you could single-handedly wipe out the Brotherhood. I didn’t believe it back then, but now I do."
Elental Magic Power surged within Chen. The aura of this elent was faint and not very active.
After sensing this elental aura, Su Xiao examined Chen closely. He discerned that Chen was no longer a Five Elent Skill Type Mage but was transitioning into an Academic School Mage Lord, although not yet deserving of the Mage Lord title.
Pain can prompt rapid growth. Chen always had talent and had access to ample resources within the Brotherhood. Still, a few derivative worlds ago, he experienced pain—one where each squad mate dear to him died in front of him. Although he inherited the entire assets of the Brotherhood Adventure Team, it wasn’t the outco he desired.
To inherit the assets of a dium-sized adventure group alone—one could imagine the wealth he accumulated.
"Chen, Night of Beheading won’t suddenly chop off my head, will he? If so, I won’t fight alongside him. After all, he has a notorious reputation, not just famous."
The female contractor wasn’t seeking enmity with Su Xiao but was very wary of him.

The female contractor nad Mizaki had a swift change of deanor. Initially full of caution, she now threw Su Xiao a seductive glance, just shy of revealing her chest wholeheartedly. Undoubtedly, she’s a manipulative and scheming woman, ntally not entirely stable.
"Bai Ye, close combat."
Su Xiao grasped the current situation. Including Netero, five people would confront the Ant King together.
Before dealing with the Ant King, the contractors’ relationships were each for their own but cooperating. Once the Ant King was defeated, a chaotic lee might start at any mont.
Su Xiao had never experienced such cooperation before because of the presence of violators.
This ti was different. Su Xiao dealt with the violator in the early stages of the Derivative World, allowing him to operate freely without concerns about his Hunter identity.
The characters of all three were intriguing. Chen had been sowhat silent, a different shy type. After experiencing the group annihilation, his reticent personality slightly shifted to one that could end a conversation in three sentences. This wasn’t sharp-tongued but a master of awkward silences, capable of creating uncomfortable situations instantly.
Old Smoker, on the other hand, was clearly labeled a good person with ulterior motives, soone who wouldn’t offend anyone lightly, but when it ca to his interests, he’d beco ruthless.
Mizaki was a manipulative scher, possessing strong possessiveness and dominance. Seductive in body and unpleasant in nature, her greatest hobby in the real world was befriending soft sisters—not misunderstanding her interest; she wasn’t after won but their boyfriends. Her flair for sweet-talking to steal other won’s boyfriends, only to then ’compassionately’ console the soft sisters and relish their expressions of pain and helplessness, showcased her vile character.
The gathering of such three made for a ’lively’ scenario. Now, Su Xiao had to temporarily collaborate with them. In Reincarnation Paradise, personalities were as diverse as monsters and intrigues.
"Although we were strangers before, in dealing with the Ant King, we must not hold back. To put it bluntly, everyone wants the Ant King’s heart. However... the Ant King is not easy to handle, not relying on Netero detonating the Poor Man’s Rose to half-destroy the Ant King, which is basically impossible."
