On the boundless grasslands, a gentle breeze swept through, making the entire grassland rustle, like a green ocean.

A wild rabbit was hiding in the green grass, its long ears twitching occasionally, sotis lowering its head to nibble on the tender grass shoots.

The rabbit suddenly lifted its head, looking around in panic, and hurriedly escaped upon sensing the ground shaking.

Boom, boom, boom.

A figure over ten ters tall swept past, leaving large footprints on the grassland.

Su Xiao sat on the shoulder of the Female Titan, yawning out of boredom.

They had been traveling non-stop for seven hours, with Ani and Reiner taking turns carrying a few people on the journey, occasionally resting.

"Hmm~."

Reiner sat up, stretching. He was so exhausted he could fall asleep on the Female Titan’s shoulder.

"What ti is it?"

Reiner rubbed his eyes sleepily, his eyes bloodshot.

"Eight in the morning."

"Is there any of yesterday’s roast left? Using the Power of Giant continuously is very consuming."

Su Xiao handed a piece of roast at to Reiner and took out a bottle of water.

"Eat it and then it’s your turn, look at you sleeping while Ani is struggling."

Reiner nodded, listlessly taking a bite of the roast at.

"It seems you haven’t slept for a day and a night, don’t you want to rest?"

"I can’t rest yet."

Although Su Xiao cooperated with the group, he didn’t fully trust them, and Reiner and the others’ Perception Force wasn’t strong.

"No wonder you’re a warrior of the Empire, I’ve gotten a bit lazy over the years. Ani, stop."

After eating, Reiner shouted, and the Female Titan Ani halted her steps.

Skilfully completing the swap, fifty seconds later, the exhausted Ani sat on the shoulder of the Armored Titan Reiner.

"Is it really aningful to rush like this? Will the Survey Corps really pursue us?"

Ani looked puzzled at Su Xiao.

"If I kidnapped soone very important from the Marley Empire and then caused damage at the border, and a few loyalist spies escaped with , how much military force do you think the Empire would deploy?"

Su Xiao’s description left Ani speechless; this was a relentless vendetta.

It wouldn’t be surprising if the Royal Family dispatched the Military Police Regint, let alone the Survey Corps.

"That’s why we have to leave ’Paradis Island’ as soon as possible."

Paradis Island is the island known to all currently, although it’s called an island, its area is definitely not small, otherwise, the Marley Empire wouldn’t covet the resources there.

Reiner’s traveling speed is slightly slower than Ani’s, but Reiner has more endurance.

About three hours later, a town gradually appeared in sight, and Eren, who was strapped to the shoulder of the Armored Titan, beca noticeably restless.

"This is... holand."

Eren’s voice choked up a bit, though only five years have passed, this city was already quite dilapidated.

Blurred glimpses of trees could be seen in the town, and the houses, long uninhabited, mostly had collapsed roofs. From a distance, one could still see the hole ’Bertholdt’ kicked in the wall.

"Finally arrived."

Su Xiao looked down at the town below. With thousands of houses, relying on luck to find Eren’s ho was unlikely.

"Finally reached here, finally...."

Bertholdt stood up, looking at the town below with so guilt. It was he who had breached it.

"Bertholdt."

Eren murmured softly, and Bertholdt’s body shivered.

"One day, I’ll kill you, I swear."

Eren didn’t roar but instead was very calm. This tone made Bertholdt a bit terrified.

"If... if you can do it, then kill, when I raised my foot five years ago, I already had the awareness of sacrifice."

The usually weak ’Bertholdt’s voice beca firm.

"Bai Ye, you took that key to enter my ho’s basent, right? Although I don’t know where you got this information, I don’t believe you can find my ho among these many houses."

Eren lifted his head, looking at Su Xiao with a half-smile.

The journey had matured Eren a little, the betrayal of his peers, and various transformations within the walls accelerated his growth.

"You don’t need to guide."

Su Xiao didn’t plan to interrogate Eren, he had his ways.

He began to swiftly recall the details from the ani in his mind.

Colossal Titan kicking the wall, young Eren running towards ho, mother under the house,

Mother under the house!

Ideas raced through Su Xiao’s mind. When Eren’s mother was under the house, the Giants hadn’t invaded the town yet. The cause of the house’s collapse could only be the rocks thrown off when the Colossal Titan kicked the wall.

His eyes began to search the town, and four or five large rocks ca into view.

"Reiner, go over there and check it out. Just as we discussed earlier, if we can’t find Eren’s ho in two hours, we’ll give up."

The Armored Titan Reiner moved in the direction pointed by Su Xiao, soon arriving before a large rock.

The surroundings of this rock were overgrown with wild grass, the entire rock embedded into a wooden cabin.

"It’s not here, over there."

Reiner began to wander in the town, passing one rock after another, but each rock didn’t match the scene in Su Xiao’s mory.

"The last one."

Su Xiao looked at the rock closest to the wall in the town, that was the last hope.

The Armored Titan moved its steps, and Su Xiao’s eyes quietly glanced at Eren.

Although Eren endeavored to remain calm, his frequent glances into the distance revealed his intentions, this young man was still too naive.

"There’s no mistake, it’s there."

Su Xiao could be sure.

"You bastard!"

Eren roared, attempting to struggle, but he was too badly injured, having only drunk a small amount of water in a day and night, leaving him extrely weak.

The Armored Titan Reiner halted his footsteps, and after Su Xiao jumped down, he carefully observed the surrounding terrain.

Collapsed house, a giant rock pressing down the roof, half of a female skeleton in the nearby wild grass.

This was Eren’s ho, the starting point of the plot.

"Reiner, lift off this roof."

Reiner gave it barely a thought, his two large hands easily digging into the roof like an excavator, continuing to excavate further.

Quickly, Reiner cleared the collapsed house, revealing a dark hole with steps leading downward.

This was Eren’s ho’s basent, a crucial turning point in the original story, and Su Xiao couldn’t help but feel a bit expectant.

Reiner released his giantification, carried Eren to the stairs, Bertholdt carried Ymir, and Ani was carrying Historia, the sweet innocent gets special treatnt.

"Is this it? I’ve heard you ntion it many tis before."

Reiner looked at Eren in his hand.

"Reiner, as a favor to an old comrade, can I ask you sothing?"

"Speak."

"Help collect those bones over there; they’re my mother’s."

Reiner, without hesitation, stepped forward, took off his shirt to wrap the half-skeleton, and tied it to Eren.

"You need not thank ; what I did, I deserved to die, I’ve known since five years ago."

Reiner said, then quickly catching up to Su Xiao.

Su Xiao held a powerful flashlight in his left hand, holding the key Eren always carried, descending the stairs.

Eren’s father had repeatedly reminded him of this key, which should play a critical role soon.

Su Xiao led at the front, Ani and the others following, so showing nervous expressions.

Su Xiao casually walked upfront, the basent was unlikely to have danger.

The stairs leading down were short, and soon a wooden door appeared ahead.

Standing in front of the wooden door, Su Xiao glanced at the key in his hand, then at the old wooden door.

Suddenly, Su Xiao lifted his leg and kicked, shattering the wooden door with a crash, revealing a study-like underground room.

Su Xiao glanced again at the key in his hand, flipping it to toss it to Eren behind him. This thing was useless.

The key landed with a jingle on the ground.

Eren, with a face full of doubt, looked in disbelief at the key he had carried for five years, the door it opened had been kicked open by soone.
