This is Chrollo’s ability: Thief’s Secret Book, which allows him to steal others’ Nen abilities, but it’s not casually done. It requires eting four conditions.
1: Witnessing the opponent’s Nen ability with their own eyes.
2: Asking the opponent questions related to their Nen ability and receiving a response.
3: Letting the opponent place their hand on the hand imprint on the book cover.
4: All above conditions must be completed within an hour.
Once these steps are completed, Chrollo can successfully steal the other’s Nen ability. However, to use these stolen abilities, he must hold the Thief’s Secret Book and turn to the corresponding page.
Chrollo never considered stealing Su Xiao’s ability. Even though stealing others’ Nen abilities seems powerful, it actually has too many limitations. Trying to et the conditions for stealing during an intense battle is like a fairy tale, unless the opponent is very foolish.
