Upon hearing Su Xiao’s question, Umbrella Brother sat upright seriously on the hospital bed.
"Have you heard of the Blood Gate Adventure Group?"
With Umbrella Brother’s first sentence, Su Xiao knew what was going on; it was the revenge of Stan, the Head of the Blood Gate Adventure Group.
"There was so bad blood in the past."
"So... bad blood? So they’re coming for revenge on you?!"
Umbrella Brother’s expression looked troubled. He had been caught in the crossfire, while Su Xiao remained at ease, leaving Umbrella Brother feeling frustrated. The intended target for the chase was unscathed, while he was almost killed.
"What kind of grudge do you have with them?"
Umbrella Brother sighed; complaints were useless now, especially since Su Xiao had just saved his life.
"Regarding the grudge..."
Su Xiao briefly introduced his conflict with Blood Gate to Umbrella Brother, which left him sowhat bewildered.
"With just such a grudge... Stan actually sent Huang Yan after you? Has he lost his mind?"
"That’s what I’m puzzled about too."
Su Xiao didn’t reveal one thing to Umbrella Brother: his number couldn’t be tracked, making him harder to trace.
"So, are we teaming up now?"
Umbrella Brother started unwrapping his bandages. His vitality was unusually strong, otherwise he wouldn’t have escaped Huang Yan’s pursuit twice.
"Yes, otherwise why would I save you? By the way, do those three have tracking thods?"

Su Xiao contacted Bubu Wang, telling it to hide with Sakura Matou.

After confirming there were no enemies near the villa, Su Xiao picked up the iron box with the tube and walked towards Umbrella Brother, stabbing the tube’s needle into his abdon.
"Hey, isn’t this too impromptu? You’re stabbing it directly!"

Umbrella Brother grimaced in pain.
"Hold it."
Su Xiao handed over the iron box, at which point Umbrella Brother’s face was full of resignation. He could only tie the iron box to his abdon; it seed this small box was his destiny.
Even though Umbrella Brother was a wild Main Tank, he didn’t use shields but wore a pair of thick tal gloves. The gloves were wrapped around his forearm, each as thick as a trunk.
Umbrella Brother didn’t need a shield; the gloves held in front of him served as one and were more flexible, useful for attacking or restraining enemies.
Steam emitted from the gloves as Umbrella Brother flexed his shoulder.
"Have you confird the escape route?"
Umbrella Brother leaned towards the window, looking into the empty courtyard.
"Why flee?"
Su Xiao seed puzzled.
"Shouldn’t we? The opponent is a third-tier contractor, a tier above !"
"So what?"
Su Xiao didn’t care about the opponent’s tier; without a direct fight, he wouldn’t flee without engaging, and besides, escaping now wouldn’t make much difference.
"Bro, can I call you bro? We’re not fleeing, it’s a tactical retreat."
Su Xiao was unfazed; he was eager to know if they could face the three high-tier contractors directly. Continuous fleeing wasn’t wise; they’d eventually be caught, as Umbrella Brother’s previous plight was evidence of that.

Seeing that Su Xiao was set on not fleeing, Umbrella Brother sighed. Running off alone ant certain death; he might as well stay for a fight, especially since he’d been fleeing for long and felt a pent-up frustration.

A roar ca from the villa’s courtyard, Su Xiao squinted to look, and surprisingly it was ’Berserker’ Matou Gan Ye.
"Why hasn’t he retreated?"
Normally, Matou Gan Ye should be hiding with Sakura Matou in the shadows.
"Roar!"
Matou Gan Ye roared again, his gaze directed towards Su Xiao on the second floor. Sothing seed off, as black smoke billowed from Matou Gan Ye’s body, with pink light gleaming in his eyes.
"Is that a Heroic Spirit?"
Umbrella Brother hadn’t seen the modified Matou Gan Ye before.
"That’s Matou Gan Ye; you can think of him as a master version of Berserker."
"How strong is he?"
"Not very, but quite resilient."
"That’s good to hear."
Umbrella Brother sighed in relief,
"Now he’s the enemy, controlled by that woman nad Butterfly, the one I ntioned with charm specialization. Despite her charm focus, her close combat ability is very strong."
Su Xiao nodded; without Sakura Matou, it was a troubleso situation for Matou Gan Ye to be controlled.
Matou Gan Ye, with black smoke enveloping his body, stood in the courtyard, yet the three high-tier contractors hadn’t shown themselves.
Dense footsteps echoed, one by one expressionless civilians erged from all sides, numbering in dozens, with pink gleams in their eyes, importantly, they were bound with bombs.
These civilians surrounded the villa, and Matou Gan Ye roared again, causing the civilians to simultaneously look towards the villa.
"Such cheap tactics... Is Huang Yan not here?"
Umbrella Brother seed to think of sothing, a smile appeared on his face.
"Bai Ye, I thought of a possibility, if that possibility is true, today might be our chance to turn the tables."
"What kind of possibility?"
Umbrella Brother mumbled a few words, after which Su Xiao’s eyes glead.
"Are you sure?"
"Not entirely, but there’s over a sixty percent chance. I know Huang Yan a bit; that guy wouldn’t do this sort of thing. If he were here, this villa would already be burnt to ashes."
