The issue with the preliminary exam was resolved, and after Nianyang patiently accepted a few words of concern from her teachers, she took her report card and headed ho.
When she reached the entrance of the Gu Family residence, she saw Gu Youlan standing in the yard, glaring at her with a sullen expression.

"You, you’ve known all along, so you just retaliated against on purpose?" Gu Youlan was startled; she had always thought her actions were seamless, enough to fool this fool Gu Nianyang, not realizing the other had known everything all along. No wonder her behavior changed drastically recently!
Nianyang smiled innocently, "That’s right, after all these years of you making my life so difficult that I couldn’t even lift my head, as your sister, I had to let you taste it too. That’s only fair, right?"
Gu Youlan’s face flickered between light and dark, gritting her teeth, "Fine, now that the facade is broken, I don’t need to hold back anymore. Gu Nianyang, you just wait, let’s see who laughs last between the two of us!"

Nianyang stared directly at her, smoke seed to rise between the eyes of the two girls.
At this mont, Wang Ying walked in from outside, carrying a basket, "Oh, Lanlan’s back. How was your exam? Did you pass the preliminary?"
At the ntion of her exam results, Gu Youlan recalled the recent humiliation at school, and her face turned black with rage. She didn’t answer Wang Ying.
Wang Ying didn’t notice her eldest daughter’s discomfort, "Oh, what am I asking? Our Lanlan is so smart, she must’ve passed the preliminary, unlike so idiot who always cos last, shaming the family!"
As she spoke, she shot a disdainful glance at Nianyang, the disdain evident in her tone.
Nianyang couldn’t help but smile, "Mom, are you so sure I’ll still be last this ti? What if I did better than my sister?"
Wang Ying glared, "You, a clumsy pig, think you can compete with your sister? I think you’re losing your mind! Don’t think by puffing yourself up here, you’ll fool ; I’m telling you, we don’t have extra money for you to retake the exams. If you don’t pass the preliminary, you’ll stay ho and work for !"
"Mom, can you just shut up? You’re so annoying!" Wang Ying’s words left Gu Youlan feeling completely embarrassed. She glared at Wang Ying and stord inside.
"Oh, Lan, what’s wrong?" Noticing her eldest daughter upset, Wang Ying quickly chased after her, halfway turning back to glare fiercely at Nianyang.
"You dead girl, why are you just standing there? Go cut the pig grass! Are you living here for free?!"

Nianyang sneered and turned directly to head towards the Jiang Family residence.

Upon reaching the Jiang Family, Jiang Aiguo and Sun Li, who had learned about what happened at school from Jiang Tian, joyfully praised Nianyang from head to toe.
