"Shi Nuan, what’s wrong with your leg?"
Chu Zhan walked up to Shi Nuan, his tone carrying an unnoticed hint of worry.
Shi Nuan waved her hand, "It’s nothing, just got grazed by an arrow, Nianyang has already treated it!"
Li Tingyan imdiately let go of Nianyang upon hearing this, and began to touch his wife’s body.
"Nini, are you injured? I just heard the sound of darts here, have you been hit? What about those people you fought with?"
Nianyang’s face turned red from his touch, she held his hand.
"Ayan, I’m fine. We encountered three poachers, I killed one and caught two. They’re tied up in the cave, and we’re planning to hand them over to you for processing."
Zhang Niu stepped forward, "What? You encountered poachers? And caught them? You two girls, how did you manage to capture them?"

Li Tingyan, however, kept a dark face throughout. What should he do? He started regretting letting Nianyang co for the assessnt.

Li Tingyan selfishly wanted Nianyang to stop growing and just stay under his wing like before.
Zhang Niu asked, "The avalanche ca so suddenly, how did you think to hide in here?"

On the return journey, Shi Nuan and Chu Zhan were in one car, while Nianyang and Li Tingyan shared another, both sitting in the back seat.

Nianyang chuckled and stroked his hair, saring mud all over his head.
