Shi Nuan had never seen her uncle with such a predatory look in his eyes, as if he wanted to devour her whole, and she inexplicably felt a chill down her spine.
She thought about how it had always been like this since childhood; her uncle’s demands on her were always overbearing. If she failed to comply with any of them, he would co up with various ways to reprimand her.

As for the reason, she wasn’t certain. It seed as if a voice deep in her brain forbade her from telling anyone.
Furthermore, her uncle had always disliked her getting close to other guys. It was better not to anger him.
Little did she know, upon hearing Shi Nuan’s words, Lu Xingshen’s face instantly turned even more sullen, as though it could drip water.
He looked at Shi Nuan with a hint of lancholy, "My dear Nuan, you’ve really grown up. You’re even learning to deceive your dear uncle."
Shi Nuan tightened her chin slightly, "Uncle, you..."
Lu Xingshen reached into the cabinet and pulled out a stack of photos, throwing them at Shi Nuan’s feet. When she picked them up, she found that they were of her spending ti with Chu Zhan today. One even pictured the car accident scene, with Chu Zhan holding her in his arms.

Lu Xingshen gradually approached her, his tall fra casting a shadow over her, his voice interrogative, "Didn’t you say you went to see your friend? "Uncle, where did you get these photos from?"
"I had soone take them," Lu Xingshen replied nonchalantly.
"Had soone take them?" Shi Nuan’s eyes widened as she questioned, "Uncle, did you have soone following ?"
Lu Xingshen’s expression remained unchanged, "I’m protecting you."
"Protecting? I’m not a child."
Shi Nuan gritted her teeth in anger, "Uncle, don’t you realize this behavior is creepy? I’m a person, not your pet. How could you have soone follow ?"
Lu Xingshen’s actions made Shi Nuan feel a strong sense of disrespect.
Lu Xingshen’s gaze darkened imdiately, looking down at the fuming young girl, the sharp line of his jaw tightening in displeasure, "Xiao Nuan, you’ve never spoken to like this. What changed you? Was it that Chu Zhan?"
Shi Nuan’s eyes flickered slightly but quickly concealed it, yet Lu Xingshen caught it, and he sneered, "Seems I guessed right. You and that coach of yours really have an unusual relationship. When did it start? Displaying such conduct on the streets, have you no sense of decency, Shi Nuan?"
Shi Nuan bit her lip, "What did you say?"
Lu Xingshen’s handso face was utterly cold, his deep eyes barely able to conceal the hint of looming madness.
