Li Tingyan waited until late at night, after everyone had gone back and Nianyang had fallen asleep, before sneaking in like a little thief.
There was a small lamp on the nightstand, casting a faint glow.
Nianyang was lying on the bed, hugging the quilt, her cheek buried in the pillow. Her eyelashes were distinct and separate, and she was sleeping peacefully.
Li Tingyan sat down gently beside her. He’d been holding back all day; now he finally didn’t have to care about anything. His gaze greedily road over her face, and the more he looked, the happier he beca.
Nini had woken up.
So good.
It felt like the whole world had turned into spring.
