"Hahaha, seriously? Yeah, that does sound like sothing he’d say," Laughed Rosary in amusent, as I recounted so of the stories from back when I was traveling alone with Larrk.
"Yeah, he was kinda an to at tis, probably because he didn’t fully trust at first. But after so ti, he finally let his guard down around and got a lot nicer...considering what my family put him through, I guess I can’t bla him from being distrustful of , they did so pretty awful things to him, so it was only natural that he’d be suspicious and wary of ."
"I can’t fathom how humans are capable of putting their own kind through such tornt, do they not feel any kinship towards their own kind?" Frowned Lucifer, as she downed a shot and threw back her head.
"Well, in my experience, a lot of Nobles are like that...the majority of the population were Commoners, and Nobles grow up being told that they’re inherently superior to all Commoners. It becos common sense to them to look down on Commoners, which leads to arrogance and developnt of a superiority complex. There are exceptions, of course, but most of them are just terrible people," Sighed Rosary, as she took a gulp of beer.
"I think their large populations contribute to that. Compared to humans, we Demi-Humans have a much smaller population in the world, even with all our various species combined. We had disagreents from ti to ti, nothing that turned violent, but still. The larger a group is, the higher the chances there are of possible infighting and conflict within that group. Who knows, if any of our races had as large a population as humans do, we might do the sa," Reasoned Tania with a shrug, as she drank out of a shot glass with a straw.
She looks really drunk, but she sounds perfectly coherent.
"It must be nice having such a small body, at least in this context...you must be able to get drunk off a much smaller quantity of alcohol that we can," Remarked Pavorphobus enviously, slurring a bit.
"I’m more curious about how much you’re physically capable of drinking...you’re onto your third shot now, I was skeptical that you could even fit one full shot into that tiny body of yours. Where does it all go? You don’t look big enough to have the room to ingest three full shots, but here you are, still going strong," Chid in Lucifer in bemusent.
"Yeah, I was wondering about that too...in terms of proportions, you drinking three shots is like one of us drinking three large barrels of booze, our stomachs would probably burst if we tried that, if the alcohol poisoning doesn’t kill us first. So, how have you not passed out or just straight up puked your guts out at this point? Actually, how are you even alive?" Added Mysst curiously.
"Hehe, yes, I wonder how? We Fairies have quite a unique physiology, particularly when it cos to digestion, and we’re rather tight lipped about it. Still, we do have a limit, of course, I’d say I’m about halfway to mine," Grinned Tania, as she continued sipping from the shot glass.
Proportionally speaking, that’s still pretty incredible.
"Don’t bother trying to get any answers out of her about this, I’ve tried plenty of tis back in the Haven, but even when super drunk, this is the one thing that Fairies don’t blab about. They’re able to eat and drink more than they should be physically capable of, and I have no idea how that works. Huh...actually, now that I think about it, I’ve never seen a Fairy use the bathroom," Realized Sinia, her eyes widening.
"Wait, does that an you don’t poop?" Izzy asked Tania incredulously, who choked slightly on his drink in response.
"H-huh? Uh, yeah, I’m not going to answer that, I’d rather keep that to myself..."
"Hm, I do sense a rather strong stream of Mana flowing out of you, I don’t think that was the case before we started drinking. Ah...you relieve yourselves by converting the food and drink you consu into Magical energy and then expel it, is that right?" Guessed Lucifer thoughtfully.
"So, then Fairies’ poop is Mana?" Surmised Izzy in response.
"Can we please talk about literally anything else?"
"There are a lot of weird things about Fairies. Like how it’s literally impossible for them to increase their population...once they reach the end of their lifespan, they reproduce asexually, creating a clone of themselves that has a vague recollection of their mories before they die. In other words, every Fairy currently in existence is a descended clone of the very first Fairies to exist, and if a Fairy is killed, their overall population is permanently reduced," Explained Sinia.
"Now that you ntion it, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a male Fairy. Are all Fairies female?" Inquired Pavorphobus curiously.
"Yes, we’re all female. And we don’t understand the concept of sexual or reproductive desire that most living things have. Which is for the best, we wouldn’t really be able to do anything about it if we did," Shrugged Tania in response.
"Hm...if you don’t need to use the bathroom and you can’t reproduce, does that an you don’t have genitals? Is there just nothing down there, like a doll or sothing?" Mysst asked her in fascination.
"Could we please move on to a different topic now? I’d rather talk about literally anything else," Groaned Tania in exasperation...
