"Dragon Fire Tornado," Chanted Dracula, my eyes widening in alarm as a massive, towering mass of violently twisting blue flas erupted around him, swirling rapidly with imnse force as the temperature of the surrounding area spiked sharply.
"Damn it...you focus on making sure those flas don’t spread, I shall try to put a stop to his attack!" Exclaid Satan, as he flew up.
Make sure those flas don’t spread? Yeah, that’s way easier said than done...but I can’t not do it either.
"Initiate Skill: Magic Eater," I chanted with a grimace, expanding the jaws of my Magic Eater as wide as I could before extending it out towards the flas as they began to spread across the grass at an alarming speed.
I swallowed up the flas as fast as I could, but they were spreading faster than I could keep up with...co on, Satan, put a stop to his attack as quickly as you can!
I then turned my gaze up as a massive, devastating beam of Obliteration burst out and barreled towards the flaming tornado, drilling right through it before the twisting mass of flas abruptly lost montum, as Dracula ca zipping out with a grimace, his left arm and a good chunk of his left side missing, before his body rapidly regenerated.
"I suppose it wasn’t the smartest move to use an attack that made lose sight of my opponents. Now...I shall take this more seriously," Declared Dracula, before chanting as he narrowed his gaze at , "Teleportation."
I stiffened as he vanished from sight before I sensed his presence behind , I quickly turned my gaze back as I started to turn around, but he was too fast, driving his claws forward and piercing into my back, before bursting out the middle of my chest.
"Big mistake," I smirked as he suddenly winced in pain, unable to pull his arm back out.
In the split second before his claws reached , I turned my body into acidic sli, and as his arm burst through, I tightened my grip around it, keeping it firmly lodged within my chest.
"This won’t-...mphhh!" He began, before letting out a muffled cry as I rapidly extended out a tendril of sli from the back of my neck and jamd it into his open mouth, flooding his throat.
His Absolute Command Unique Ability may be powerful, but he can only use it by speaking to activate the effect he wants...in other words, if he can’t speak, he can’t use his Unique Ability.
I then spun around and flew back as I extended out more tendrils of sli and wrapped them around his limbs and torso, constricting them tightly to restrain him as I got so distance and raised my hand in his direction.
"Now...disappear. Heretic Spell: Black Hole," I remarked, as I created a powerful black hole right in front of him.
He began frantically flapping his wings as his right arm got pulled into the dark mass, steadily getting drawn deeper and deeper into it.
Satan zipped across several ters to his left and began to charge up a swirling sphere of Obliteration, as I sent a couple more sli tendrils shooting out to slice off his wings.
As Satan fired the charged up Obliteration blast, my tendrils closing in on Dracula’s wings, a fierce eruption of blood suddenly burst out of the Vampire King’s body, slashing waves of blood rupturing out through his skin and tearing the sli restraints apart...
"T-Teleportation!"
The Obliteration blast got sucked into the black hole before I dissipated the Spell and looked around, my gaze darting about before I spotted Dracula, several ters away to my right, with a shaky look on his face, trails of blood trickling down his entire body.
Damn it, and we were so close too...
"I-it...it would seem that I got careless. You’re much more of a threat than I had assessed, human...I shall hold back no more," He remarked with a grimace as he began to regenerate, taking out a Magic Item before a look of surprise appeared on his face as a loud ringing echoed out.
Huh? What’s that noise? It isn’t coming from the Magic Item he just took out. I then backed away warily as he took out a second Magic Item, with a row of seven bulbs on it, three of which were alight.
What is that Magic Item? The first one he took out is a barrier item, so it’s almost certainly the moonlight barrier...but what’s the other one?
"Impossible...how can this be, I-...," He began, before trailing off in shock as a fourth bulb lit up, his eyes widening in disbelief.
He then quickly chanted and teleported away as Satan and I launched attacks at him while his attention was off us, reacting right in the nick of ti before reappearing a few ters to the left.
"What’s the matter, Vampire King? You seem rather shaken," Called out Satan tauntingly.
"Damn it...I have no choice. I’m afraid I must cut this battle short. Consider yourselves lucky," He responded with a frustrated look on his face, as he put away the Magic Items and began to fly away.
"I don’t know what’s going on, but if you’ve decided to retreat, then the logical move on our part is to stop you!" I exclaid, before Satan and I gave chase.
I fired out a barrage of blue fla projectiles at Dracula, as Satan simultaneously unleashed several Obliteration arrows, before Dracula swiftly teleported a fair distance further ahead, and then did it again.
"Damn it, we can’t catch up!" Snapped Satan, before the two of us ca to a reluctant halt as Dracula disappeared into the distance, way too far for us to chase.
We’d only be wasting our energy if we go after him...we’re fast, but we aren’t fast enough to keep up with teleportation.
"I don’t get it...why did he run away?" I frowned in perplexity.
"I have no idea. You managed to significantly damage him earlier, but it didn’t seem like that’s why he retreated," Responded Satan with a puzzled look on his face.
"Yeah, I highly doubt that’s the case. He was clearly gearing up to use the moonlight barrier, but then decided to withdraw after that other Magic Item began ringing. And it seed to like he was really reluctant to leave," I recalled in confusion.
Seriously, what’s going on? That other Magic Item must have been so kind of signal or alarm...without any information to go off of, it’s hard to discern with any certainty.
"I just can’t seem to make sense of this...," Muttered Satan with a slight tilt of his head.
"We can worry about that later...whatever the reason for his retreat, it ans that the Capital is safe, for now, at least. Let’s get in contact with the other cities, as well as the other nations," I suggested after a brief pause.
"Yes, that’s a good idea, so of the others may need backup."
