Reincarnation Tribulation - All I Want Is A Peaceful Isekai Life Chapter 418 - Counterattack(Part 3)
Point-of-View: Luna Lucidus
———————————————————————————
"Stay sharp, guys, we’re close to the next one!" Called out Argent, as we flew through the castle.
"What if this one’s Caera? What should we do?" Inquired Lucifer in response.
"If that’s the case, I’ll have no choice but to point you in the direction that the last one is in and you three will just have to head that way," He replied with a wry smile.
"I suppose that can’t be helped...we’ll just have to hope that the one we’re approaching is Lavinia," She remarked with a grimace.
"Almost there...it’s right around the next corner," Argent inford us, as we zipped through a wide corridor, before swerving around to the left as we reached the turn.
Just like before, twenty-one Vampires ca into sight, one of them presumably an Elder Vampire...and assuming Caera’s Blood Clones look identical to her, she isn’t here, none of these Vampires look like the clone I fought.
"Seems luck is on our side, looks like we’re up!" Exclaid Lucifer, before unleashing her Repel ability as one of the Vampires fired out a barrage of blood projectiles towards us, the telekinetic burst of her ability blowing the projectiles away before they could reach us.
"Evidently, I take it the Elder Vampire here is Lavinia, then. We’ll head off for the third one, then. Good luck, you guys...Izzy, Prysm, follow ," Remarked Argent, before the three of them flew away as Lucifer, Pavorphobus and I stayed behind.
"I see, that male human must have so sort of sensory Skill. Moreover, he evidently possesses a Contract...based on our existing information, there’s only one human with a Contract, and he didn’t fit the description of the one I just saw, so that must be new.
It seems a lot has happened in the few days since we attacked the Dark Continent. So, three of you intend to fight , do you? Two Demons and a human...I don’t sense a Contract in you, human, you’re out of your depth here," Remarked one of the Vampires, before addressing the rest, "Kill the human, and do your best to weaken the Demons."
That one must be Lavinia, and the way Lucifer and Pavorphobus are eyeing her so warily all but confirms it. She’s pretty hot...what a waste that we have to kill her.
"Soul Weapon Ascension: Queen of the Clouds," I swiftly chanted as the twenty Vampires ca charging forward towards us.
"Leave this to , it shouldn’t take too long...now, Hallucinatory Mist," Chanted Pavorphobus, before opening her mouth and firing out a thick cloud of mist, which rapidly spread out and engulfed the Vampires as they began to close in on us.
Suddenly, as they began attacking, their attacks flew off in seemingly random directions, cries of pain ringing out as they hit each other with their attacks.
I then turned my body to smoke and drifted forward, flowing in through the mouths and nostrils of several the Vampires and creeping down towards their cores, before I swiftly compressed and sharply expanded the smoke, triggering small but intense shockwaves inside their bodies and fatally damaging their cores.
As the Vampires shuddered and spasd in pain, before collapsing onto the floor, Lucifer and Pavorphobus swiftly wiped out the rest, leaving only the Elder Vampire standing.
"I’m out of my depth, huh? You sure about that?" I inquired tauntingly, as I re-ford and solidified my body.
"Attract," Chanted Lucifer as she raised her hand in Lavinia’s direction.
The Elder Vampire quickly flew out of the way, but her right leg got caught in the powerful pulling force of Lucifer’s ability. As she began to get pulled through the air, Lavinia quickly extended out her claws and whipped them across, slicing through her knee and severing her leg, before her eyes widened in alarm as Pavorphobus took aim and unleashed a fierce barrage of Negative Energy blasts towards her.
A large mass of blood burst out of the Vampire’s hands and ford a wall in front of her, the blasts peppering the bloody shield, which barely held up against the force of the attacks, as I then turned my entire body to smoke and flew up and forward in her direction.
As I got her within my range, I ford black holes on either side of her, her arms getting pulled into the dark masses, a wince of pain ringing out as her body got stretched across to either direction, the skin around her biceps starting to tear apart, streaks of blood spraying out.
As Lucifer and Pavorphobus fired off intense volleys of Negative Energy projectiles, Lavinia quickly extended out a couple of blood tendrils from her back and swung them across, slicing her arms off and flying back as fast as she could, just barely evading the attacks.
As her arms began to regenerate, she zipped away as I unleashed several powerful, crackling bolts of lightning towards her, weaving across to evade them before firing off pressurized jets of blood from her back to launch herself away with a sharp burst of speed as the two Demons took aim and fired out rapid blasts of Negative Energy towards her.
"Enough! I won’t let this go on any longer!" She snapped as she took out a Magic Item.
Alright, here we go, mont of truth...
As she activated the Magic Item, the moonlight barrier starting to form, I swiftly took out the counter item I’d created and activated it, her eyes widening in disbelief as the barrier shattered before it could even finish forming.
"H-huh? What just...?"
"Yeah, that isn’t going to work anymore. Is the gravity of your situation starting to sink in yet, hm?" I inquired with a smirk, as her face went pale in realization...
