A few monts later, Dexter finally eased his suspicion.
No impostor would be daring enough unless they were beyond experience in disguise and bluffing all their lives.
But little did Dexter know, Xu Feng was playing him because of this typical preset mindset.
They wouldn’t dare!
It was impossible!
’Heh, cleansing tea is only effective if the other party wasn’t prepared to consu an antidote beforehand.’ Xu Feng sneered inwardly.
As powerful as the Mirage Pendant may be, he didn’t completely rely on the item and did not take any other precaution.
This was a Tier 5 expert—one who had withstood nurous trials and events to reach this far.
How could Xu Feng dare to underestimate such an individual?
"By the way, what brings you over here?"
Now that Dexter had basically confird the person was authentic, he began to inquire about their objective in Starion City.
"The emperor had secretly sent two individuals here for ground work, and I’m here to retrieve them while giving them new instructions." Xu Feng replied in a roundabout manner.
He didn’t ntion which individuals or the new instructions to Dexter.
Toward this aspect, Dexter didn’t find any anomaly. Since it was the emperor’s instruction, it was evident that the mission must be a secret.
The fact that Tobey was even willing to divulge a few pieces was a sign of respect for his strength.
"Rest assured, ssenger Tobey. I’ll have the people temporarily stop the routine check and let you finish your business with ease." Dexter calmly said.
Doing a little favor for Tobey was the ideal choice. Not only could he avoid being put on the radar, but he could also send this disaster star away.
It was honestly uncomfortable to deal with a man like Tobey, who defied tons of logic.
Soti later, Dexter relayed his ssage through a spell and inford Tobey he could roam around or contact him whenever he wanted to.
As for the identities of the individuals, Dexter had no intention of knowing.
And on the off-chance they were the culprit of the Fatal Attraction Incense, Dexter also highly doubted they were responsible.
After all, the emperor would directly send his elitist army to raze Starion City to the ground if that was the case. There was no need for any trouble of planting an incense to allow the Colossuses to raid them.
"Don’t worry, it’ll be quick." Xu Feng chuckled heartily.
"I wish you good luck in finding the culprits. You can do as you please as soon as you find them. There’s no need for a trial for such people. But do put a record so we can check if this is a pattern by a collective group or just a single incident." He continued, essentially giving Dexter’s permission to enact his own judgnt.
"That is a given, of course. A record has to be made so that others can be inford and not be caught off guard."
"I’m sure you’d be successful in the deed, Mister Dexter. The Aetheria Empire would reward you for your contribution in safeguarding humanity."
"Haha, for humanity, I don’t mind such a task."
Soti later, Xu Feng excused himself to search for his companion.
Dexter didn’t stop him at all and even instructed the others to temporarily take a break.
’This Dexter is hiding sothing.’ Once Xu Feng got a big distance, he realized the forr was concealing a big secret.
Although he had prepared multiple asurents to ensure his disguise wouldn’t be exposed, Dexter only did one or two tricks. That was definitely not aligned with a Tier 5 expert action.
’Whatever, it’s not at the level where I should be worried about.’ He shook his head and quickly contacted Blue Star and Lightning Blade.
Soti later, they t up at a sowhat dim alley.
"What with that sll?" Xu Feng frowned and covered his nose upon eting them.
"Bla Blade." Blue Star clicked her tongue in annoyance. Her eyes were fiercely glaring at Lightning Blade.
"It’s not my fault that a Tier 5 powerhouse was overseeing the city." Lightning Blade pursed his lips. He scratched his head helplessly and explained how they had to flee to the sewer to avoid being caught by the Tier 5 expert.
"We wouldn’t have needed to flee to the sewer if you had just stopped dilly-dallying." Blue Star gnashed her teeth and relayed the situation to Xu Feng.
"There’s no need to—"
Xu Feng raised his hand and wanted to stop her, but paused his words when he saw her expression.
Yes, it was the kind of expression where you will die if you reject them.
"We have so ti to spare anyway. Go ahead." He cleared his throat and corrected himself. Even if he wanted to leave the city right away, he wanted to cleanse the two of them of any lingering sll from the Fatal Attraction Incense.
And that alone would take ti—sothing he couldn’t control no matter what.
When Lightning Blade saw how the Guild Leader also caved in, he knew he was done.
’Ugh, is this the power of a woman when angry? Not even the Guild Leader could suppress them.’ Lightning Blade was prepared to resign to his fate as Blue Star proceeded to recite the situation.

Starion City
"So this is Starion City?" Blue Star furrowed her brows and glanced at the city gate entrance. "It doesn’t look that special, but I can feel a powerful formation."
Beside her, Lightning Blade also sensed the invisible danger.
"We should complete our task and leave right away." He suggested.
Blue Star nodded in agreent. What they were doing was no different than a terrorist act.
To be caught on the spot would definitely get them detained for a very long ti or possibly a ga debuff that would hinder their growth.
Soti later, the two approached the gate and were imdiately halted by the guards.
"2 gold coins per person." The guard outright declared.
"What??!" Blue Star was quickly alard by the exorbitant prices.
"You’ve heard . Either pay or scram."
The guard rolled his eyes and snorted, looking at Blue Star like so country bumpkin.
