The collective actions of these Super Guilds seriously didn’t surprise Xu Feng one bit.
Even in the past tiline, he had to deal with their overbearing nature as a puny Vice Guild Leader of the Reaver Guild.
Given that the Reaver Guild had a corporation in the real world, they couldn’t possibly go crazy and go to war with those superior to them.
Therefore, he was always sent as the representative to bow his head and please those at the top.
Unfortunately, the days of those tis were over. And the Xu Feng of that past had also been killed since he was discarded like a stray dog.
Reality has proven ti and ti again.
Loyalty was nothing in the face of benefits.
Although there might be exceptions, the numbers were so low that they could be omitted altogether.
"Did those Super Guilds begin targeting you all as well?" Xu Feng inquired softly.
As bitter as the truth was, both Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze nodded their heads.
"Since I’ve beco the heir apparent to the Feng Enterprise, I have to consider many things, especially the shareholders’ opinions." Gentle Wind ca clean and spoke of the pressure she was currently facing.
"The shareholders still believe in , but when their shares repeatedly get tanked because of these issues, it would also beco problematic for as well." Autumn Breeze chid in.
They weren’t fortunate enough like Xu Feng to control most of the shares in his company. It was tightly grasped in his hand that the minimal shares he gave out couldn’t even do anything to stop his actions.
Of course, being the sole controller also ant his financial status was the weakest, and a battle of attrition might stagnate him.
"So are you saying you wish to revoke your mbership in the Chamber of Comrce?" Xu Feng suddenly asked.
"Eh?"
"Huh?"
Needless to say, the question took the two of them by surprise.
"What?" He raised an eyebrow and mused. "Isn’t that the reason you ca all the way here and inford of this intention?"
Truth be told, he wouldn’t be surprised if many mbers of the Vanguard Chamber of Comrce choose to renege or revoke their mbership under pressure from the Super Guilds.
They would be afraid of the repercussions, but not him.
What more could he possibly lose?
Family?
He was an orphan, and the closest people around him weren’t easy to be touched either without a serious cause.
Money?
He started from scratch, and if worse ca to pass, he could easily live off the investnts and stocks he had made discreetly.
The Global Trust Bank (GTB) couldn’t check on his account either because he had long done sothing on it in the early days.
And if it had been discovered, he would have been notified imdiately.
Shelter?
He already has enough money to buy himself a good ho to live in forever.
To summarize, the threats that the Super Guilds could use on ordinary people would never affect him.
They can’t even attempt a hostile takeover of his company because it was never listed publicly. It remained private, so they could forget about this idea.
Of course, a hostile takeover of a private company was technically still possible, but it was impossible in his case.
If anyone attempted to sell the shares he gave to them for others to use against him, those shares wouldn’t even do crap. In fact, they would do him a big favor in helping him cleanse his eyes to understand the people around him better.
"We have no intention of revoking our mbership or cooperation." Gentle Wind cleared her throat and said.
Autumn Breeze nodded in agreent.
"We ca here to inform you as a ans to be prepared and ready if you seriously want to make a move against Razor Nightmare." She clarified.
Razor Nightmare was the Super Guild under the control of Razor Technology in the Divine World. Their businesses and influences spanned across the Divine World.
"How do you know I’m going to make a move against them?" Xu Feng chuckled and teased, "Maybe I might just concede and hold it back. We’ll be up against many Super Guilds... our Vanguard Guild isn’t that strong to disregard them all."
Him concede?
That was one of the biggest jokes he had cracked.
Both Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze rolled their eyes in disdain. They might not know about him much, but they were definitely certain that he was not the type to bow his head and concede.
"We already know your conduct by now." Gentle Wind said. "Soone like you will definitely not go down without a fight."
"You won’t actively provoke others, but if others provoke you first. Then you’ll definitely get revenge based on your petty personality." Autumn Breeze snickered.
"..."
Xu Feng was rendered speechless.
Not because they were bad at talking about him, but rather, they were absolutely spot on.
Cease-fire agreent?
To hell with their bullshit!!
Want to bully and tell that retaliation will result in severe consequences?
Does he look like a goddamn sandbag to them?
They started the fight and now want to tell him to stop?
How hilarious was that!
"Razor Technology is a big company. They’re unlike Miracle Pavilion, which mainly deals with intel networks and trades." Xu Feng glanced at the two and warned solemnly.
"The mont our Vanguard Guild retaliates, the backlash will be insane."
"Insane, but you still have no intention of backing down, right?" Autumn Breeze snorted.
She then retrieved a stack of docunts and gave them to him.
"That’s the best we can do for you. Once we leave this eting, the outsiders will think we have a fallout." She coolly said.
As much as she wanted to fight alongside him, she had to consider the big picture. There were too many concerns for her to worry about.
Gentle Wind said nothing and dropped another stack of papers as well, her aning being quite clear.
Their objective today was to offer him information while putting up a facade to the outside world that they had completely fallen off.
"Thanks," Xu Feng accepted their gesture and promised to pay them back.
