10 minutes later, Hazel managed to obtain permission and signed the contract officially.
"Congratulations on being an alliance of our Vanguard Guild." Xu Feng stood up and extended his hand for a shake.
Hazel glanced at it briefly before chuckling. She stood up and shook his hand.
"I’m so glad we’re not enemies." She comnted.
To provoke soone like Xu Feng was truly asking to have a constant migraine.
"It’s hard for us to beco enemies when we’re not that overbearing." Xu Feng mused.
The Vanguard Guild was never the type to provoke others. But likewise, they wouldn’t let anyone walk over their head and get away scot free.
Their motto was simple.
You don’t ss with , then we don’t ss with you.
Cross that line, and there would be trouble.
"Anyway, we shall excuse ourselves to execute the planning." Hazel calmly said.
"I wish you the best of luck." He nodded and didn’t stop her from leaving.
By the ti they left, Xu Feng plopped into his seat. Exhaustion filled his eyes as he managed to convince one of the most stubborn players.
"Well, maybe it’s because Blue Wolves still exist, so she’s not that stubborn." When he learned of her existence in the past tiline, Blue Wolves had long been destroyed by Razor Nightmare.
A few seconds later, soone knocked on the door.
"Viscount Lin Feng, you called for ?" Jason entered the room and inquired.
"Indeed," he said and placed a pile of docunts on the table. "This Razor Nightmare Guild has been avoiding taxes for a long ti. The money they owed to the city could have been used for the refugees."
Upon hearing the statent, Jason’s amiable expression gradually turned dark.
Avoiding taxes was already despicable enough, but to do that during tis of crisis was even more frowned upon.
However, what truly triggered Jason was the word refugees.
After all, the City Magistrate’s beloved niece had beco one of the refugees when funds didn’t reach her place in ti to fend off the Colossuses.
Had it not been for an Immortal from Blue Wolves who happened to be there at the ti of the incident, the niece would have forfeited their life.
Since then, the City Magistrate had gone on a rampage and thoroughly punished tax evaders.
’No wonder the Viscount summoned the Blue Wolves for a eting.’ Jason thought to himself. He believed the eting was about taxes and the incident regarding the rescuing of the City Magistrate’s kin.
Without hesitation, Jason approached the table and grabbed the pile of papers.
As he continued to browse through the evidence, his face gradually darkened.
"Outrageous!" Jason gnashed his teeth when the Immortals they chose to trust were actually avoiding taxation so much.
What made it infuriating was that one of them happened to coincide with the necessary funds required to assist the City Magistrate’s niece’s living place.
’Razor Nightmare seriously didn’t listen to warnings.’ Xu Feng was honestly baffled when he realized how much of a ss they had created for themselves.
It was fine avoiding taxes, but there were so many ways to have it lowered.
He seriously couldn’t comprehend what the accountants in Razor Nightmare were doing.
But then again, they did hide well.
Alas, in front of him, there was nothing they could do to hide it from his discerning eyes.
Now, it was just fantastic.
He could destroy their noble status even more easily.
"Jason, you should get the information checked and verified first." Xu Feng calmly said. "That way, people wouldn’t accuse of trying to sabotage others for selfish gains."
Jason nodded in agreent. Needless to say, such thoughts had indeed crossed his mind.
But upon hearing Xu Feng bring up the matters of verifying the news, he beca more or less convinced that the information was true.
"I shall, Viscount Lin Feng," Jason replied and excused himself from the room. He was still going to confirm it through multiple sources.
Soti later, Xu Feng glanced at the Ga Forum and was proud of OneMandia’s work.
"The news spread so fast. Now everyone knows Razor Nightmare is getting targeted." He mused.
Of course, that didn’t an all the posts were positive.
[Who does the Vanguard Guild think they are?]
[They won a few skirmishes and are now picking fights with the Super Guild? Do they really think Super Guilds were for show?]
[Vanguard Guild must have stroked their ego too hard and thought they were really the shit!]
[Many mbers of their chamber of comrce had left. The Vanguard Guild’s financial status is on the brink of destruction.]
"My financial status is dying?" Xu Feng was amused by these players’ statistical charts. Just because players were buying things less and less from his guild didn’t an there were no other buyers.
In fact, the biggest custors of the Vanguard Guild were precisely these NPCs that the players constantly neglected or forgot.
So what if he lost a player’s custor?
He still has a flock of NPCs waiting to bring money to him.
The only reason he didn’t reveal this was to prevent others from stealing his NPCs’ businesses. The longer he stalled, the longer he would establish an influence among the NPCs as a trusted rchant.
But then one thing remained true.
His inco indeed tanked quite a bit, with many leaving the chamber of comrce.
Although they were repeatedly warned that once left, it would be extrely hard for them to rejoin, these people ultimately couldn’t withstand the pressure from multiple Super Guilds.
They weren’t necessarily suppressed in the Divine World, but in the real world.
And everyone still needed to survive in the real world before they could do anything in the Divine World.
"Whatever, ti to steal their money anyway." He clasped his hands and got ready to head toward the military headquarters.
With Blue Wolves taking the lead to help him eradicate Razor Nightmare’s position in Bardmon City, Xu Feng could relax to focus on the court order now.
He believed Hazel could definitely implent the plan.
