Now reading: Chapter 698: MIST Crisis from Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer, a Fantasy novel by Idczhen.

Tyler, who sat on the main chair of the supposed "eting table", was displeased how there was not a single response after his remark.

'Hmph, a bunch of old foxes.' Tyler sneered inwardly. Had his plan succeeded, these elders would have been fawning over him, and praising him to the moon.

Afterward, the elders would then try to claim so of the credits as well. They would state that they were onboard with the plan all along and supported his decision from behind the scene.

However, if the plan were to fail— which it did, then the situation happening now was clear as day, and that would be pinning all the bla on him solely.

It was the equivalent of doing nothing and being able to gain a favorable position no matter what.

Unfortunately for these elders, just like how they could be shaless, he could also be shaless as well.

"I've called for this eting because PotionHoarder who crafted the plan and led the siege failed miserably. His decision led our MIST to face a looming crisis." Tyler exclaid, shifting all the bla on PotionHoarder.

"..."

Aside from the elders in the table being speechless, even the other MIST mbers were stupefied by Tyler's exclamation.

So of the elders appeared hesitant, almost as if they wanted to rebuke the claim but ultimately decided not to.

A few seconds later, one of the elders nodded their head. "PotionHoarder was the instigator and taken as hostage now. If we were to pay for ransom, I doubt we would have enough resources in the future."

Although the elder's intention was subtle, almost everyone seated could comprehend its aning.

"Indeed, the fault lies in PotionHoarder and we must now think about what to do with the Vanguard Guild's declaration of war." Another elder chid in.

Almost effectively imdiately, PotionHoarder had been abandoned and kicked out of the MIST guild.

Not a single mber dared to step forward and attempt to defend PotionHoarder. After all, no one wished to be kicked out and lose their salary.

Most of the mbers at Skyride Hotel were full-ti players and relied on MIST Group's wage to survive. It was essentially their livelihood, so how could anyone possibly risk shattering their life on behalf of soone else?

"So the instigator has been disposed of. Do fellow elders have any ideas on how to appease the Vanguard Guild?" Tyler asked, clearly seeking so advice.

However, the truth was that almost everyone here was afraid of Eclipse Nova.

Without a doubt, no one wanted to face the wrath of Eclipse Nova. At the current stage of the Divine World, Eclipse Nova could be considered to be at the top of the rankers' leaderboard.

Who would want to provoke such an expert for no apparent reason?

Such common sense was very easy to understand. Thus, MIST couldn't even find a reliable guild or team to recruit to assist them.

"How about we compensate the Vanguard Guild using real-world currency? I'm sure they wouldn't go against money, right?" One of the elders spoke up and suggested.

Alas, their suggestion was quickly t with scorn and near-insult remarks.

"Did you think we hadn't tried to contact their representative to seek a negotiation?"

"Their representatives were extrely rude and even told us to wait for our death. Vanguard Guild Leader Lin Feng personally made the declaration that they will go to war and those who dare to stop or advise them otherwise will also beco their target!"

"Ugh, I just don't get why the Vanguard Guild chose us to go to war. Do they think we're easier to be taken out than Reaver Guild or Lethal Corp?"

As soon as this particular elder made the remark, the atmosphere quickly turned silent.

Even the other mbers stared at the elder with an astounded expression.

anwhile, Tyler's expression turned rather cold.

"I supposed Elder Dolan must have been exhausted. He should take his exit to get so proper rest." Tyler calmly said.

Dolan realized his mistake and hurriedly stood up. "Ah, my old age is really getting the better of . I should really take so pills and let the new generation take over."

Shortly after saying so, Dolan logged out of the Divine World. Without a doubt, if he were to delay his exit, then the situation would have escalated further.

Thankfully, Dolan was quick-witted enough in the end and claid that the highest authority was Tyler. Otherwise, there were bound to be repercussions for his remark.

"Alright, I don't care what the elders do, but it's best to use the favors you have been stacking up. If we lose to Vanguard Guild now, then we will fall straight down to the abyss." Tyler declared and exited the eting table.

'That damnable Gao Zhong played for a fiddle and how dare Dolan speak about our inferiority.' Tyler gnashed his teeth in frustration.

While Tyler was feeling extrely bitter and anxious about what his father would do to him, back at Star Falls City, Xu Feng had already finished his preparation.

He stood at a distance from a building that had just finished its construction.

"Guild Leader, is this considered the first guild residence in the Divine World?" Carn asked excitedly. Previously, she was about to do so mission to pass ti, but received a ssage from Xu Feng to return to the city.

Never once did she expect the Guild Residence to finally finish its construction. It was rely the Guild Warehouse that was available to access, but now it was the whole building.

"Indeed, this is the first." Xu Feng nodded his head.

"The Guild Residence has a total of 20 rooms, a lobby, training hall, Profession Workbench, warehouse, and stable." He explained, listing out the facilities inside the Guild Residence.

Originally, it would have still taken a few days before the completion, but thanks to his enticent and Jessica's eagerness to get revenge. She had personally ordered the construction worker to speed up or they would no longer be hired by the Adventure Association.

Truly, only those with good connections could get things done.
