Xue Yang and Lin Xi waved goodbye to Cheng Dong and Su Yu.

Lin Xi fell asleep, but soone else couldn’t.
He opened his eyes and gazed at the starry sky above them. Their spot was directly facing the Milky Way, which looked like a luminescent, ivory ribbon stretching across the heavens.
He could almost picture the heartless Queen Mother of the West using a silver hairpin to separate the two star-crossed lovers. The Xue Yang of the past didn’t believe in such myths, but tonight, for so reason, he found himself believing.
Lovers who are forced apart must feel such terrible pain. I hope I never have to be separated from the one I love because of our parents.
When they woke up, it was almost noon. Most of the surrounding tents had already been taken down. Only a few remained scattered about, and their owners were also in the process of packing up. At a glance, Xue Yang and Lin Xi’s tent stood out conspicuously.

They say going up the mountain is easy but coming down is hard. The ascent had taken them nearly three hours; the descent took almost four.
When they finally made it to the foot of the mountain and reached the spot where they had parked their bicycle, the area was empty.
"The bike is gone."
They scanned the entire area, but their little beat-up black bicycle was nowhere to be seen. All the other bikes that had been parked there were also gone, clearly stolen.
"What do we do now?"
