The winters in the South were nice in every way, except for one thing: mosquitoes at night. Fortunately, the farmstead’s owner had equipped each room with mosquito repellent devices. When he woke up again, it was already past twelve.
In the southern winter, going a day without a change of clothes was out of the question. The first thing Xue Yang did upon waking was call Yang Xiaozhi, asking him to bring over a couple of fresh sets of clothes.
"Cousin, are you really spending Valentine’s Day with your girlfriend?"
"Don’t ask so many questions. Just let know when you’re getting close, and I’ll have soone go out and get the clothes from you."
"Oh, okay."
After hanging up, Yang Xiaozhi got up and headed to Xue Yang’s ho. He explained the situation to Zhong Hailan, who then led him upstairs to Xue Yang’s personal domain on the second floor. Upon arriving, he saw that the entire floor was filled with Xue Yang’s belongings.
Yang Xiaozhi felt a pang of envy. In his own ho, aside from his bedroom, every other space was shared with his three younger sisters. Before he brought a girlfriend ho, even his room was sotis commandeered by them. People always talked about favoring sons over daughters, but in his family, it was the complete opposite. He was the one who was overlooked.
Yang Xiaozhi then realized that all of Xue Yang’s clothes were from trendy brands. Not only that, but he also spotted an item from Xiang Naier. Although he had never encountered luxury goods of that caliber, he recognized it instantly. Its price had been hyped up to the sky-high sum of hundreds of thousands, and many people, including him, were curious to see what such an expensive piece of clothing actually looked like.
He had thought he would never see such an item in his lifeti. Now, not only was he seeing it, but he could touch it freely. What made the disparity feel so jarring was that this ridiculously expensive garnt, worth an entire apartnt, was just lying in a suitcase, casually tossed aside by Xue Yang.
My heart aches! I don’t know if it’s for the clothes or for myself.
After grabbing the clothes, Yang Xiaozhi headed for the place Xue Yang had ntioned. The journey from Xue Yang’s ho to Thousand Flower Farm was over an hour’s drive at the very least. However, he couldn’t drive, and taking the bus would an a journey of at least two hours.
Just then, Xue Yuanqing arrived.
"I’ll go with you. Wait here, I’m going to borrow a car."

With no change of clothes, Xue Yang could only stay on the third floor. He sat on the balcony in a bathrobe, basking in the sun while brewing and sipping tea. It was a life of pure leisure.
Lin Xi made her way to the first floor. Her face was still flushed, and her eyes shimred like water.
"Xiao Xi, isn’t Xue Yang coming down for lunch?"
"He doesn’t have a change of clothes, so he’s too embarrassed to co down. I’ll just bring sothing up for him later."
Si Wen burst out laughing.
"HAHAHA! Xue Yang, to think you’d have a day like this! Too bad he’s not my boyfriend, or I’d die laughing at him."
