Xue Yang enlarged the profile picture. It was a small white cat with big, cute, sky-blue eyes. It was incredibly adorable and really did look a lot like her.

"Why the sudden desire to get a cat?"
Xue Yang found it strange. Lin Xi had never ntioned liking pets before. She’s already like a little animal herself.

Just as Xue Yang was about to follow him inside, a familiar voice called out from behind.

He turned and saw Gong Lee approaching. As always, she was dressed in crisp attire, her ear-length bob showcasing her competence. The affairs of the Fashion Departnt didn’t really concern her, but since Xue Yang was her student, she had decided to drop by.
"Teacher Gong, you’re here," Xue Yang greeted her.
"I ca to see if there was anything I could help with, but it seems you don’t need ."
"Teacher Gong, please co in and have a seat."
Even though they were partners in this venture, Gong Lee was still his teacher.
Gong Lee glanced at the ti, then at Xue Yang. "I can’t. I have a class soon, so I should get going. Maybe next ti."
"Take care, Teacher."
Gong Lee gave Xue Yang one last look before turning to leave.
"Was that your teacher?" Jennifer asked, stepping out from inside just as she departed.
"Yeah. Why didn’t you invite her in?"
"She said she had a class soon."
Hearing this, Jennifer gave him a surprised look.
"Why are you looking at like that?" Xue Yang asked.
"You just said she’s your teacher."
"She is. Wait..." A sudden realization dawned on Xue Yang. "We’ll talk later, I have to get to class!"
So that’s what it was! The look Teacher Gong gave as she left... she was ntally calculating how late I was!
