Seeing Sun Yufei’s reserved expression, Xue Yang said with a smile, "Classmate Sun, take a seat. There’s no need to be nervous; I’m not going to do anything to you."
"Okay."
Sun Yufei sat down properly on a stool.
If you hadn’t seen it with your own eyes, you would never imagine that such a refined and beautiful woman had, not long ago, brutally beaten up a boy taller than her in a hotel.
"Classmate Sun, you’re from the Publicity Departnt, so I’ll get straight to the point. For the promotional materials this ti, I think we can do it like this..."
Xue Yang took out a notebook and wrote in it carefully as he spoke.
He spoke with great earnestness, and Sun Yufei listened while watching him.
Leaning a little closer, she could sll a unique fragrance from him—not too strong, not too faint, just a comforting scent.
His girlfriend must be a ticulous and gentle girl, right?
About twenty minutes later, Xue Yang had explained everything he wanted to Sun Yufei and had also written it all down.
This was how Xue Yang operated. If he wasn’t sure soone would rember, he would prepare a backup. That way, he could guarantee things were foolproof.
However, Sun Yufei had rembered everything Xue Yang said.
At that mont, she was filled with imnse admiration for him.
No wonder Professor Gong Lee, whom everyone called "Master Miejue," had recomnded him for student council president.
Xue Yang... he really is that capable. However...
"President Xue..."
Xue Yang looked up and asked patiently, "What’s wrong? Is there sothing you still don’t understand?"
I thought I explained it in great detail.
"No, no, I understood everything. I just wanted to ask, I’m just a mber of the Publicity Departnt, and our minister is Tang Zhisheng. Why did you co to instead of speaking with him directly?"
Logically speaking, he should have approached Tang Zhisheng to arrange this task.
Xue Yang pondered for a mont before saying, "I think Minister Tang might be having so difficulties recently, so it’s faster to co directly to you."
Sun Yufei recalled the scene of her beating Tang Zhisheng to a pulp.
Her expression imdiately changed.
"President, you... you know everything..."
Could anything be more socially mortifying than exposing her worst side to the person she liked? She should have realized it sooner. Cui Hao was his best friend. After she beat him up, how could he possibly not have told Xue Yang?!
Xue Yang had already lowered his head, checking his notes for anything he might need to add.
Seeing that Xue Yang wouldn’t even give her a second glance, Sun Yufei’s heart sank.
It was just as Tang Zhisheng had said—no boy would ever like a girl like her.
"I know a little, but not much."
"President, I..." Sun Yufei wanted to explain, but she found herself at a loss for words.
Just as Sun Yufei was completely lost in her own world, Xue Yang spoke again.
"Classmate Sun, it’s a good thing for a girl to know how to protect herself. However, I think you could try handling it another way."
"Huh?" Sun Yufei looked at Xue Yang, puzzled.
He... he doesn’t think I’m so annoying, muscle-bound Barbie?
"Classmate Sun, what I an is, if another boy confesses to you, you can just reject him directly. You don’t need to... erm, resort to force to make them back off."
"President, I..."
Xue Yang closed his notebook and looked up. "It’s just a suggestion. If you find it presumptuous, Classmate Sun, you can pretend I never said it."
Xue Yang actually had a rough idea of her psychology. She had likely been pretty from a young age and received a lot of confessions. To ensure she wouldn’t be taken advantage of, her family had her learn self-defense. As for how that escalated into taking boys who liked her to a hotel for a good beating, Xue Yang didn’t know. After all, that was her private business; there was no need for him to pry.
"President, do you think a girl like is very crude?"
"Not at all. Every girl is unique. You just have a different way of handling things, Classmate Sun. I believe that one day, you’ll et your destined Prince Charming."
"Thank you!"
Too bad... that person isn’t you.
"Alright, I’ve written down everything in the notebook. Classmate Sun, thank you for lending it to . Here you go. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can review it, and if you’re still confused, just co ask . I don’t have classes for the next few days, so I’ll usually be over at the Fashion Departnt."
After speaking, Xue Yang placed the notebook in Sun Yufei’s hands and walked out.
It wasn’t until Xue Yang had been gone for quite so ti that Sun Yufei sat down again and opened the notebook he had given her.
Xue Yang’s handwriting, much like the man himself, had a stylish flair that spoke of an extraordinary character.
Although Sun Yufei knew nothing about calligraphy, Xue Yang’s writing gave her the impression of having the air of a true master.
Looking over the notes, she saw they were almost identical to what he had told her. If there was any difference, it was that the notes were even more detailed.
Sun Yufei closed the notebook and hugged it to her chest. "He really is a very ticulous person."

When Xue Yang got ho that evening, Lin Xi’s classes were just about finishing. He’d been lying down for only a mont when he received a call from her.
As soon as the video connected, she just stared intently at him.
"What’s wrong?"
"Nothing. I just noticed your hair seems to have gotten longer."
Xue Yang ruffled his hair. "It has. I’ll get it cut one of these days when I’m free."
"No!" Lin Xi suddenly exclaid.
Xue Yang looked at her, slightly bewildered. "What’s the matter?"
I just want a haircut. Why is she reacting so strongly?
"Your hair must wait until I get back. Only I can take you to get it cut," she insisted.
"Why?"
"Haven’t you heard? A boyfriend’s hair is his girlfriend’s private property, so you can’t just go and cut it yourself."
"Oh. Then I’ll wait for you to co back."
It was only a few more days anyway, so waiting was no big deal. The last session was only half a month, so they only got one night off. This ti was different. It was a full month, so they would get a whole day. Getting a haircut doesn’t take much ti, anyway.
"Let’s continue our skincare routine from yesterday. I was specifically waiting to do it with you."
Xue Yang felt a headache coming on. "It’s a bit complicated. Can we simplify it?"
"No."
"You’re a girl, so it’s fine for you to be ticulous, but I’m a guy. I think it can be simplified."
"Alright, then. Which steps do you plan on cutting? I’ll see if it’s acceptable."
"I plan to keep just these two." Xue Yang held up the facial cleanser and moisturizer in front of the cara.
Lin Xi was exasperated. "You’ve basically eliminated everything. Fine, you can do that for now, but when I get back, I’ll give you a proper deep-care treatnt."
"Okay."
This was exactly what he wanted. He really didn’t want to go through such a troubleso skincare routine every day. Although his skin had definitely improved, it was a real hassle. But if soone were to do it for him, that would be a different story.
"Oh, by the way, Xue Yang, rember to take one of my hair ties with you before you go to school tomorrow. They’re in the drawer."
